I don’t usually review new arrivals, but this was an instant love at first sight. My goodness, what a wonder! Straight out of the bottle, it smells very earthy, reminiscent of Iris Malikhan, but as it dries down, it becomes silky, waxy and sweet. The dry-down leaves me speechless; at this stage, it smells more like Dior Homme Intense. It’s not the ideal time to wear it, not due to discomfort, but because I think it would shine even brighter in the cold. I recommend it to death! 🫶🏻
This scent is an absolute gem, my favourite from the house. It shares that iris DNA with others (like Dior Homme), but here it blends from the start with a sweet violet that takes the lead. I love that, although it is powdery and has a vintage air, the iris becomes buttery as it dries; at the same time, the nutty notes and a soft vanilla velvetise everything with the cashmere. The result is a super cosy and easy-to-wear iris, suitable for men or women. I would wear it all year round. The longevity exceeds 10 hours, with notable projection and sillage for the first 6-7 hours (afterwards it is closer but still perceptible). I would love to own it to share with my partner.
