Share what you noticed: opening, drydown, sillage and the moments when it works for you.
It’s a rare fragrance: judging by the top notes, I expected it to be creamy and super sweet, but I can’t detect any cinnamon or white chocolate (which was what I wanted most, buuuu =/), nor bergamot. It smells somewhat medicinal, like plastic, and all I pick up are violets. It’s sweet but very faint; perhaps it’s the iris, but it’s a different iris than I know, drier like the one from DHI. This one is fresh, though sugary. Over time, it becomes creamier and sweeter, which is the stage I enjoy more. I’ve never stopped smelling that violet-tinged, sugary iris; it’s strange but I like it. In my opinion, Iris Ganache isn’t as gourmand as they say; it’s elegant, powdery, and creamy. It’s my second day testing it, and while I quite like it, it’s not what I expected.
