A delicate scent, like baby powder but masculine. Whoever wears it should be well-dressed in smart-casual or office attire, as it conveys someone refined, with good manners, attitude, and style. I give it a 9 out of 10 for fresh days; it’s perfect.
2024 batch, weak fragrance. I adore the scent; it’s one of my favourites, I wish it always smelled this way. The issue is the longevity, very poor, barely four hours on skin. It lasts longer on clothes but doesn’t project. If you love the smell, buy it, but I don’t think it’s for enjoying all day long, what a pity. I would buy the Intense version without hesitation before. For me, it’s very versatile, having a darker incense note that makes it more interesting and it lasts longer. Go for the Intense, you won’t regret it.
Lovely scent, a nice middle ground between the Eau and the Intense. That said, my 2024 bottle fades very quickly; I’ll have to wait and see if it muddies up… there’s much more potency in my Intense bottle.
I bought it due to the hype and reviews claiming it smells like baby powder. To me, it only smells like makeup. I’m not sure if I can detect other notes like neroli or geranium. It’s not a bad perfume—I’ve received compliments—but I was expecting baby powder, not makeup. I think a woman would wear it perfectly, though not with a hoodie. It’s ideal for the office or indoor settings because the trail is short and soft. Not for a suit, but perfect for smart-casual attire.
Fresh, elegant and impeccably clean; it is sophistication and cleanliness in a bottle.
I love the scent; I own all three and this is my favourite. The Eau is more summery and the Intense more elegant, smelling of dark suede. This one smells of freshly ironed and clean laundry. The downside is that it doesn’t last more than an hour on the skin. Recommended only as an olfactory experience, not as a perfume, because it lasts nothing.
It’s my go-to fragrance for everyday wear. Sometimes smelling good doesn’t require complex scents; it just needs that fresh laundry vibe which is super pleasant and reassuring. Definitely worth trying. The longevity is decent, lasting around seven hours on me with a reasonable projection.
At first, the alcohol hits hard and makes you recoil; it feels as though the EDT was diluted to the bare minimum just to tick a box, but then the neroli arrives and within minutes the iris softens that sharp edge, turning it into a classic cologne. After half an hour, it becomes soapy, elegant and clean; everyone loves it to close out the day, finishing with amber and woody notes and a sweetness in the dry-down. It is simple, evolves quickly and enjoyable in its short life; ideal when you don’t want to think and just want to smell good for a few hours. Moderate trail, average performance of four to five hours, suitable for spring though versatile; expensive for what it offers in concentration.
It’s a very clean and pleasant scent, but nothing more. The iris is noticeable throughout, being an odour that doesn’t bother anyone, however the longevity is somewhat limited.
Great perfume. It opens fresh and vibrant, not citrusy. Then a creamy iris appears, very pleasant. It smells clean, elegant, and fresh; it denotes firmness and neatness. It is soapy but of quality, nothing generic. Very versatile, usable all day and in all seasons except extreme heat, because I think it would suit something more citrusy better. Longevity is good: 2-3 hours projecting, not loud but noticeable. Even it has happened that the next day my family smells it, about 16 hours. Performance varies, but I haven’t read that it is short. If you are looking for something that never fails for work, school, uni, or dates, it is a 9/10.
There are those who walk into a room as if to save the world and others who seem determined to ruin it. The man wearing Prada L’Homme enters in silence smelling of freshly ironed clothes firm opinions and black coffee without sugar. From the very first moment he projects a clean iris almost surgical with that scent of crisp hotel sheets where no one asks too many questions. Then come the neroli and cardamom like the handshake of a sophisticated lawyer: firm cool and perfectly manicured. There is no cheap sweetness here. No candies or vanilla syrup. This is cleanliness order and distance. The man who wears this likely has a clear conscience kept in a safe alongside his double-breasted suits. In the background cedar amber and a hint of leather emerge as if to say: yes I am impeccable but I could also hurt you with the right words. Prada L’Homme does not shout does not seduce does not dance. He simply looks smiles with a barely raised eyebrow and leaves a trail of ‘perhaps you should have tried harder’. If you are one of those who believe elegance is a form of educated cruelty congratulations: you have found your fragrance.
To some it sounds more serious or mature, but it doesn’t happen to me. It smells clean and elegant, ideal for going to uni at 20 without sounding weird. It fulfils perfectly for smelling good without drawing too much attention; one of the best designer options. Longevity: all day with about 8 sprays, I arrive home smelling it, although it doesn’t project much.
I’ve been wearing this perfume as a signature at university since January, and it is one of those fragrances for a lifetime. It is powdery, floral, and in the opening has a spicy kick of pepper with a metallic touch, but after 20 minutes it shows its best face: that velvety, slightly sweet, and powdery base. It smells like sweet baby powder, freshly washed sheets, or the luxury soap of a 5-star hotel, each to their own preference. The best part is its versatility: it serves all year round and in any occasion; it is literally impossible for someone not to like it. Longevity performs well, about 6-7 hours, although the projection is moderate by nature. Prada L’Homme exudes class, elegance, and superiority; it doesn’t compete because there is nothing that casts a shadow on it, and it has no rival in the market. The man who wears Prada is worth two.
Clean? Yes. Neat? Yes. Masterpiece? 100%. Will you buy it? Without a doubt.
I will be brutally honest: I already owned the Prada L’Homme Intense, a monster of longevity that is mandatory in my collection. I wanted to try this EDT for some time, and after seeing the olfactory pyramid, I was sure it wouldn’t be citrusy. And I was so wrong! It has become my absolute favourite, or at least in the top 3. For now, I rule out L’Aqua because it seems very similar to the EDT with a touch of ginger; if the EDT is already weak and you have to spray it to death to make it last, L’Aqua with those criticisms of zero projection is not worth it. This EDT, of course, is neither for winter nor for summer above 25 degrees, it would be wasted. It is for spring and autumn, or cool summer nights. It is intimate, for dates, the office, or going out well-dressed, not for parties or pubs. On my skin, which usually performs well, the trick is to spray it about 25 times without fear. The projection is very close, half a metre; you smell it and whoever is stuck to you, but it is not for flooding rooms. Longevity on skin exceeds 10 hours if you apply it well. The notes of pepper, cardamom, or patchouli are not detectable at all. The opening is sparkling, with a neroli that is not acidic but clean and energetic, a metallic iris, and a touch of violet that I love. After 20 minutes it becomes velvety and powdery, with a sweet amber base. It smells like luxury soap, neat, and sophisticated. The iris reminds one of the Intense, but they are two different worlds. I was looking for something fresh for the heat that wasn’t citrusy or sweet, and this is a gem. I recommend it; I already have two bottles. It is elegant, versatile for temperate climates (between 10 and 25 degrees), and perfect for cloudy days or with a breeze. In extreme heat it gets heavy and doesn’t smell the same. I give it 10 for the scent, 7 for longevity (because you have to spray a lot), and 5 for projection (very low). The price is a 5 because for what it costs it should perform more, but the scent is spectacular. The only drawback is that I would want more projection, but for its use and climate, it is perfect. With 30 sprays, it lasts about 3 hours. It is a little gem of perfumery, a real stinker. If you don’t mind spraying a lot, buy it; if not, discard it. It will never be missing from my collection; it is the best clean and soapy scent that exists. Prada L’Homme EDT and Intense are the best line, two 10s that have been my signatures for years.
It is cleanliness made into a scent. It distils elegance and is totally timeless. It is a perfume you must have in your collection.
Luxury in a bottle. Nothing more to say.
My signature fragrance for all year round. Elegant, versatile, subtle, neat, serious, sophisticated, and for people who like luxury. This is who I am. I won’t talk about longevity or projection because it makes no sense; it IS the perfume.
If you want to smell clean, subtle, elegant, masculine, and without drawing too much attention, I assure you that you will not regret the $100 this piece of male perfumery costs. Powdery, slightly citrusy due to the neroli, fresh, clean, and with a slight sweet sensation thanks to the amber, perfect balance, exquisite. Its performance on my skin is excellent; I feel bursts throughout my workday, but I consider it a somewhat personal bubble. On skin, it lasts about 10 hours, and on clothes, even longer, with a projection of no more than a metre. It is a perfume to go unnoticed, but when people approach you, cleanliness, elegance, and even the vibe of a professional are noticeable, JO-YA.
Super versatile, my first Prada perfume… a masterpiece. It tends to be unisex, but it’s a gem. Personally, I have quite an affection for it; the first time I had a date with my girlfriend, I wore this fragrance, just before getting out of the car. That heart note of iris, neroli, and amber, quite present, non-invasive but noticeable, gave me the confidence I lacked to feel good about myself in that moment of nerves and excitement.
Prada L’Homme EDT is a masterpiece that leaves one speechless. Beautiful, exquisite, and simply stunning. It isn’t for every kind of man; it has a delicate facet with a feminine touch due to that powdery softness, yet it also harbours a sophisticated and elegant masculinity. That duality is what makes it so addictive and magnetic. The iris is the protagonist, presented in the most refined way Prada knows how: clean, velvety, and with that fresh talc air we all recognise. Yes, it reminds you of being freshly showered, impeccable, with a cleanliness that caresses the skin and conveys peace. But beneath that softness emerges a playful and sensual side, a sexy tone that makes the wearer irresistible. This scent captivates. Women find it enveloping and close, one of those that invites them to lean against your chest for hours. It works brilliantly on clothes, whether a hoodie or a shirt, leaving a comforting and seductive trail. Many criticise it for being powdery, but that is its charm. It is an iris that shines with cleanliness and modernity, blending freshness, elegance, and magnetism. Compared to the Intense version, which is more serious and nocturnal, the EDT is versatile, cheerful, and luminous: ideal for the day but capable of standing out at night. The best part is its universality. You can wear it to work, the club, the beach, or a casual date; it always looks good. It is the scent of someone confident, classy, and warm. In short, Prada L’Homme EDT is Prada in its purest form: the iris elevated to its maximum expression, sophisticated and magnetic. A fragrance that doesn’t kiss, but makes you feel as if it does. For many, including myself, it can be the heart of the collection: versatile, elegant, and unforgettable. Scent: 9.8👃 Originality: 10 🌟 Sillage: 7 💨 Projection: 6 🔭 Longevity: 7.5 ⏳ Versatility: 10 🔄 Formality: Semi-Formal / Formal👔
Clean and refined iris. Towards the end of the fragrance’s life, it darkens and becomes sublime. Ideal for all year round in professional environments.
Do you remember the scent of premium barbershop talcum powder or the smell when entering a Polo Club men’s clothing store? Well, this is an ode to those scenarios. It’s all-rounder: perfect for the office, meetings, interviews, the gym, and even dates, although I prefer other more woody options for dates. Story time: I wore it in the office and then two more sprays when going to the gym at 6pm. When I returned to shower, I ran my hand over my neck, smelled it, and that delicious, delicate, clean iris scent hit me, a total exquisite. It’s not a dense iris like those in Dior Homme or Givenchy Gentleman, but a genuine, versatile, cordial, and very mineral one; that facet was my favourite. Want to know what the scent of the modern man over 30 is? Here is the answer, gentlemen.
A beautiful fragrance. At first, I didn’t like the strong cardamom opening, which reminded me a lot of masala chai, but after that spiced opening, it begins with the most enjoyable and delicious smell I’ve ever tried: an iris and violets that, although they are floral notes, feel strangely masculine and clean, basically tidiness. Its performance surprised me; I thought that being talcky with short projection it would last little, but on hard clothes it easily lasts 8 hours and on skin about 6 hours, more than I expected because the iris doesn’t fix much on my skin. Compliments will never be lacking; I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like it, it’s so immaculate and non-invasive. No problem for daily use, a 10/10 for the office.
A scent of bottled cleanliness and tidiness. These are the perfumes you must have in your collection.
I had been chasing this fragrance for a long time until I finally got my hands on it. Prada L’Homme is the definition of a clean, immaculate man who cares about details and wants to make a good impression without being cloying. It lasts on skin for about 8 hours. Iris and talc are the predominant notes. It smells like a freshly bathed baby, but for a mature man heading to the office. Undoubtedly, it is cleanliness and harmony bottled in 100ml. In my opinion, if you don’t like this scent, you don’t know what it means to ‘smell clean’.
An elegant, clean, and immaculate fragrance. If it were a colour, it would be white; I already know why it’s called the ideal office perfume. I detect a clean iris and very prominent talc notes.
I tried this beauty the other day and it was love at first sight. Incredible that iris. I want to go to some Duty Free to try the other flankers and see which suits me best, but this one is incredible.
Daniela, wow, what a nose! At first, there was a shock because, although the opening blew my mind, I felt it very childish and innocent once it dried. The magic I discovered several days later on clothes: ufff, I loved that velvety, fine, delicate scent, like dreaming in a cloud of cotton. On my well-hydrated skin, it develops beautifully; that sweet, masculine, classic, and chivalrous patchouli is utterly insane, making it impossible to take my nose off my arm. What I don’t like is that it’s so elegant and sober it interferes with my attitude; when I wear it, I feel arrogant, perfect, and calculating, and I don’t like feeling that way. It’s the favourite of my circle of women and makes a big impression when worn due to its sharp, firm opening. Once dried, it reduces the impact but still floats for hours, seducing. Scent: 8.9, Projection: 7.7, Longevity: 7.4. Final rating: 8/10. 80% perfection.
I know a guy who wears Prada L’Homme. He’s an elegant, immaculate perfectionist. Until now, masculinity was sold with muscles, gravelly voices, and smells of leather and rum, but this fragrance changed the game. Prada L’Homme proves you can project masculinity without looking like a caveman; it does so through perfection, cleanliness, and chivalry. Its appeal comes from inner comfort, emotional intelligence, and subtlety. He’s the one who opens the door, the one who kneels to kiss his wife’s hand and gives her flowers. He’s not an impulsive lover; he’s a patient, calculated strategy. From how he wears his watch to his hairstyle, everything is thought out. Prada L’Homme doesn’t shout; it speaks better. It doesn’t offer compliments; it observes. And when you talk to him, he doesn’t look you in the eyes but at your lips. That’s no coincidence; it’s all calculated.
It’s cleanliness made into perfume. If you want to project cleanliness, get this. The duration is good, but the projection is low. That said, it must be the signature of any good elegant perfume.
I received Prada L’Homme and liked it more than I expected. The opening is clearly floral, marked by neroli, and gradually the iris blends with the violet, creating a neat, almost ‘starchy’ sensation, with a slight citrus nuance that keeps it alive. As it dries down, cedar and patchouli emerge, while the iris remains firm, ensuring very good longevity. It’s not an invasive perfume nor one with great projection; it stays in your personal bubble, accompanying you constantly for seven or eight hours. That said, don’t skimp on the sprays… in the end, that’s what it’s for.
There’s not much to say; it smells like freshly ironed clean clothes, a soft and white fragrance, perhaps a bit innocent and angelic. Cleanliness and purity to the max. This doesn’t hurt anyone but doesn’t impress either. That said, consider it elegant and quite pretentious; it reminds me of a good doctor, perhaps a gynaecologist or paediatrician, as I consider it a fairly unisex and correct aroma. I’ve seen it frequently on offer for under 100 dollars, so there must be a reason, right?
I don’t like it at all; too sweet.
Too powdery to feel clean, neat or crisp in a white shirt. That said, it has generated some compliments, if anyone likes that sort of thing.
Second review: for me it’s a masterpiece, I never get tired of smelling it. It’s exactly the scent I like, it gives me tranquility and makes me feel comfortable all day. I’ve tried many perfumes, niche and commercial, and none come close. The quality is spectacular, it relaxes me. I doubt I’ll ever smell one that equals or surpasses it. I’m about to pick up Prada Cèdre, hoping it’s as good as this. I’ve been using Prada L’Homme EDT and Intense for years; the brand has become one of my favourites due to the quality. I hope to discover more gems from the house. Perhaps my top three are Prada L’Homme, Versace The Dreamer and Prada L’Homme Intense; three true wonders. Although the first two have little sillage and you have to spray generously, it doesn’t matter to me. If I only had five perfumes, these three would always be there. If the EDT had the sillage of the Intense, I could stick with just them. As long as I can afford it, I’ll buy 150ml bottles and spray as much as needed. I love powdery, soapy and clean perfumes; those are the ones I enjoy most. The pity is that there isn’t one that resembles this Prada L’Homme in terms of powderiness and cleanliness. After smelling the EDT and Intense for years, and trying many niche and commercial scents, many say it’s vulgar compared to the Prada L’Homme line. What I love most is that it’s super versatile, suitable for almost everything. I’m about to pick up Prada L’Eau, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it given I already have this; they say its sillage is even lower and it’s very similar, just a bit more citrusy at the start and more powdery at the end. If it’s too similar, I don’t see the point. Who has both and can tell me the difference in scent, duration and sillage across the phases, and which season is best for each? I’d appreciate it. Almost no one notices how much I like it? Haha.
Delicious, floral and penetrating aroma, very masculine and sophisticated. Smells like a tall, handsome and elegant man, a true modern gentleman. Ideal for work, the office or healthcare centres, but ONLY in enclosed spaces; the wind kills it instantly. In my case, the performance is terrible; my twin brother ‘L’Eau’ projected and lasted much longer. For price, performance and scent, I give it a 6/10.
Perfect for daytime and three seasons. It’s not the best in extreme heat, but it’s not bad. For evening, there are better options. Of my 90 perfumes, it’s been in my top 5 for years. It’s versatile, never fails, welcoming, not overwhelming and conveys cleanliness. That iris gives it something special, a new nuance that stands out without being strident. It’s elegant, conveys tranquility and is probably the cleanest scent I’ve ever smelled. Out of all the ones I reviewed on Fragrantica, I don’t know how I left it out. I love it and have worn it for so long. At first, when I knew little about perfumes, it seemed strange to me and even feminine, but on the second try I understood it would be an eternal love.
Incredible how good it smells; it reminds me of the products my mum used to dye her hair when I was a child.
Smells like luxury soap with iris, but it’s very subtle, almost imperceptible. If you’re looking for something similar with more presence, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Home is better and costs half the price.
