It’s a scent that isn’t particularly intense, yet supremely pleasant and summery, perfect for hot days if you don’t love citrus but still want freshness. It smells neither sweet nor powdery; it’s unisex but leaves me wanting less. It’s suited to those seeking something soft without much projection. On my skin, it lasted six hours, clinging closely from the start. Fortunately, I bought the 20ml version as I won’t be repurchasing it.
Although the iris (fresh, slightly creamy with woody nuances) is quite noticeable, it isn’t as intense as the name suggests. It’s a pleasant proposition but rather timid, with fairly consistent longevity. It hasn’t thrilled me; it feels refined and elegant yet lacks something to make it a keeper for my collection. I believe with more inventiveness it could have become a great perfume; it needs a bit more soul, a touch of vanilla, or more strength in the dry-down. For me, it remains a ‘maybe’.
