  • An elegant floral bouquet with a subtle sweetness. A formal classic of good taste. The vanilla melts into the skin at the end, sexy but not vulgar, and the flowers mix with the woods to moderate them. High trail and longevity. Excellent purchase, a distinguished perfume.

  • DarthVarda

It radiates sophistication. Being woody, I like it very much. You can smell the nutmeg and the neroli. The woods combine well and it has an important trail, reminiscent of the 80s but more modern. I inherited it from my mother. I am not a fan of using it every now and then, but I like it. It is not for hot days, but fresh or winter ones. Ideal for a night when you want to be noticed following your trail.

  • I bought it blind based on the notes and comments. On my skin I feel the neroli strongly, I didn’t like it much, but it didn’t offend. Over time it softens and sweetens; the base notes I loved. I will keep testing it.

Total love for this perfume. It is sophisticated, elegant and versatile. Basically what I was looking for: jasmine, my favourite floral. It is enhanced by neroli and gardenia, my preferred flowers. White florals are my chosen ones. I love versatile fragrances for day or night, work, university, dinner, date or coffee. It is a scent that ‘never fails’. If atomised too much it loses delicacy, but it is not soft; it has presence. The jasmine mixed with gardenia, neroli, nutmeg, vanilla and amber captivate me. It is a white floral with sweetness, timeless, rich in winter and bringing spring. I use it now and love getting out of the sweet-gourmand rut. Sometimes my nose gets saturated with desserts and I need to rest. I like sweet and oriental florals. I totally recommend Organza: a sweet floral with freshness and cleanliness, comforting but with a spark from the nutmeg. It reflects femininity in all its expression, the most versatile woman. A gem.

My godmother gave it to me when she visited from Monaco. At first I thought: ‘Mmm, what a strange fragrance’. As I had few perfumes at 18, I used it to go to university, but I felt others disliked it because I didn’t apply it lightly; even I got a bit dizzy. When it ran out, I regretted throwing it away. It is very beautiful and now I crave that sweetness, special for winter. I will have it next winter. I already have it, alongside a 2018 bottle. I love it madly.

  • It is persistent, strong and has a lot of presence. On me, the woody notes stand out, so I see it as a night and winter scent. Very feminine and elegant. It was very fashionable a few years ago.

  • Marita20leysi

Nothing more to say: it smells like a millionaire’s perfume. Like a banknote. It is perfect for a wedding. I love it.

  • This is my first reformulation and it feels more potent, leaving a stronger trail than the original. I believe only Givenchy can achieve this. Now it is much more of a ‘here I come’, a beautiful floral that stands out in these times.

  • I quite like it, although it is strong. It has a woody aroma with spices and a floral touch. I think it suits women over 35 or 40 better. It smells like an expensive perfume, but it is very accessible and lasts longer than the real thing. A gem for the price.

Since Organza launched, everyone was talking about it. It’s the perfume for the refined, elegant, ethereal woman that makes you stand out. Over time, it has retained that elegance; it is simply enchanting, exquisite, refined and creamy. One of my favourites. It has a touch of amber and vanilla that makes it unique. It reminds me of the garden at my country house, full of subtle scents. The woody notes give it depth and presence. It is beautiful and I love it.

I liked it very much; I agree with Nikeirojo1, it feels like a more mature perfume than the mainstream offerings on the market.

  • An over-the-top nineties classic from the 80s. I remember the advertising with Yasmeen Ghauri in that white dress; I wanted to marry in that dress with that ponytail. Tuberose and more tuberose, jasmine, vanilla, and amber. An elegant perfume with presence; one of those you only smell when kissing new relatives at weddings. I believe it has not been reformulated; mine is a perfume + body milk gift set from Christmas 2009. Kept well in the box, it has not oxidised excessively and is preserved as on the first day. A magnificent perfume of the kind no longer made.

  • One of my mother’s favourites; I remember that strange-looking bottle on her dressing table in the 90s. I did not remember the scent, so I tried it. My adult perception is that it is very feminine and majestic. I have tried it twice, once in winter and once in summer, and the performance was completely different. It works wonderfully in both, but I particularly liked how it projected in summer. It is not for those who use half-measures; it is a serious perfume that must be used with moderation. Winter: opens with nutmeg and then becomes peonies and honeysuckle. Very pleasant, but not impressive (7/10). Summer: explosion of nutmeg and jasmine, followed by a spiced and woody aroma with amber. I swear I smell tonka bean at the end, probably it is the nutmeg. It is an oriental that attracts attention, superbly balanced and elegant (9/10). Pleasant: 8/10. Interesting: 8/10. Versatile: 8/10. Original: 7/10.

  • A perfect mythical fragrance, an authentic Givenchy jewel, one of the best balanced accords within the classics. A lady perfume with great character. I do not consider it intrusive despite having guaranteed projection, trail, and fixation. It is an oriental fragrance that will never die because it has its own life. I like its scent in the environment very much; it is very elegant, coquettish, and has a sensual touch that depends on the wearer.

  • A nineties classic that remains current, elegant and notable. It is an aromatic cocktail dominated by tuberose, jasmine, and orange blossom, with the freshness of bergamot that tames the sweetness of the vanilla, making those tuberoses fresh and sparkling, unlike the sweet and juicy ones in L’Intermit. Finally, the woods settle beautifully and perfectly. It suits warm climates as it is not overpowering. The trail is spectacular, and the longevity is surely over 12 hours. I love it.

  • Floreta guapa

How long did it take me to acquire this perfumery masterpiece? It becomes addictive; its entire aroma envelops you in sweetness, warmth, and sensuality, rejuvenating you. It is divine, sensational, softly powdery and vanilla-scented. I rated it as very feminine, although it can be quite strong and you cannot tear yourself away (with apologies). With moderation, I believe it suits warm climates, though it is ideal from autumn through spring. A true Givenchy jewel that does not lose its charm over the years. A big hug, guapxss.

  • Lady Nixxie

Completely different from what is currently available in perfumery. I recommend it for women over 35. At first, I hated it for those dominant green notes that accompany me for half an hour, preventing me from perceiving the excellent base notes. It projects an image of an elegant woman, but I cannot handle those green notes, so I truly disliked it. However, I gave it to my mother, and on her, the greens are not prominent; instead, there are divine tuberose and vanilla-floral notes. It lasts more than 12 hours on skin and clothes until I wash it.

  • anamaestracorreo

Distinct from commercial offerings. Creamy, white floral, warm, luminous, and spiced… I would love to try the original version.

  • Perla Vencis

Organza is rightly classified as a floral amber. It oozes glamour and has secured its place among the classics. I wear it with a silk evening gown, delicate flats, and a good hairstyle. I use it sparingly, but it is always with me. It is the quintessential woody floral. White flowers (gardenia, neroli, jasmine) stand out with nutmeg. The woody accords are persistent: Virginia cedar and guaiac wood. On my skin, it leaves a powdery sensation. It is one of the few that leaves an oily feeling, which speaks of high quality. I first encountered Indian Jasmin (2005), very elegant, but I can no longer find it.

  • Masterpieces no longer found in big-box stores. Today, elegance must be sought in small, expensive boutiques, yet elegance is not about money—consider those famous wealthy individuals who lack education. That is why elegance should be accessible, as it was when Organza first launched. It smells fresh, sweet, youthful, and fun, avoiding sterile green or dried floral notes. It changes with movement, clothing, and the weather, a pleasure that accompanies you all day. It has a respectful sillage, nothing invasive, yet it lingers on skin and clothes. Simply beautiful.

  • Soyyoymiperfume

But what a delicious thing… a jewel. Sweet? Yes. Strong? Yes. Elegant? Yes. Mysterious? Yes… but beware, it’s not a trendy sweet gourmand, not at all! It’s a sweet that gives the nutmeg, turning it into a woody sweet. What a delight to wear this! It is elegant, but you can be very elegant with rubber shoes; attitude counts 👍🏼. With 2 or 3 sprays you have for the whole day and more… and don’t be afraid to try it. That said, it is a seductive perfume.

  • My favourite vintage perfume. Dignified, elegant, opulent and delicious. It was my signature for a long time before the madness of collecting. I have 10 ml left and I don’t know if to replace it; I’ve read bad comments about the reformulated version. Mine is 10 years old, it’s intense, a bomb in projection and longevity. Today I think it no longer has those characteristics. Meanwhile, I will cherish my last drops and enjoy them with my soul.

  • Elizabeth1212

A disappointment when buying the EDP I thought would be definitive. It’s true that the jasmine predominates (that’s why I bought it), but the longevity on skin is less than 1 hour. I remembered it being much more long-lasting (I don’t know if there was a reformulation).

  • marisley_si

I love this perfume, I adore it, but it doesn’t last nearly 4 or 5 hours; the trail starts strong and drops off sharply. I remember it lasting much longer before, though I don’t mind, I like it so much it will always be in my dressing table. It smells like a refined, wealthy woman, elegant, like a lady from the hills ✨.

  • This scent is truly narcotic. Opulent, majestic, mysterious, dark. It’s a bomb. I feel it sensual, as if saying ‘here I am and I’m taking the world’. Indispensable in my collection, it’s in my top 5. I love it ❤️.

  • Gardenia, gardenia and African orange blossom. With this, we have one of those great 90s perfumes à la Givenchy. Organza is a beautiful, versatile fragrance, but I choose it for meetings or work because it is elegant and discreet. Nothing of those tiring sweets or the ones everyone wears. It was unique and feminine, with a gardenia that lingered on the skin with a brutal longevity and a trail that made people ask what perfume I was wearing. I remember it best in my mother’s perfume bottle; it was a delight on her and made me leave my bottle so she could enjoy it; I loved it for its gardenia scent and it was her signature. Recently, with Lady Million, I found something similar; although it doesn’t have that finesse, it’s a good option to explore the combination of gardenias and orange blossom. Organza, with beautiful memories, is a great purchase for a fine and elegant gift.

  • VainillaDulce

Organza is that vintage fragrance that floats gracefully between classic and modern. A delicious concoction, never overwhelming, exotic but not wild, elegant but not cold. It is very well portrayed in its bottle: complex, feminine, sinuous, with twists full of surprises. Upon spraying, a nutmeg you can almost taste, soft green traces and a magnificent, slightly spicy gardenia, with a drop of lemon that soon dissipates. Afterwards, the neroli joins the gardenia, creating a new floral mutation. Behind it lie powdery roses and at the end, powerful woody touches bathed in sweet vanilla. I know it sounds overwhelming, but it’s not; it is present, it envelops you, but it doesn’t overwhelm. Any woman with a strong personality wears it wonderfully. Its best season is autumn-winter and for formal wear. It lasts about 10 hours on my skin, with strong projection for the first 4, then softer.

  • anamaestracorreo

Pff… I think this is the second time I’ve reviewed this. I just can’t come up with those poetic phrases that so many writers use 😆. It smells incredible and nothing old. I have the reformulated version and it’s still a brilliant fragrance. Creamy white flowers, mace, nutmeg and gardenia. Then a delicious vanilla that sweetens everything like a nectar you almost drink. To my nose, the green notes don’t exist, perhaps a tiny bit at the start. I’m glad it’s still available.

  • They say it’s for older women, but I find it incredibly seductive. I’m 20 and I’d buy it again without hesitation. It lasts forever and is very unique; it’s a DELIGHT.

  • rodrigo1995

My grandmother used to wear it, so I associate it with mature, elegant women. It’s totally different from mass-market perfumes; ORGANZA gives you distinction. It has a gourmand touch when you smell the atomiser, due to that just-perceived vanilla—nothing artificial—but it’s not edible, just so delicious it makes you want to taste the atomiser. I see it for an elegant, classy woman for special nights. Its scent is distinctive; it doesn’t resemble anything I’ve smelled before. A bridal fragrance? Perhaps… it has opulence but in a reserved way; less is more, this fragrance shouts. It’s very enigmatic due to its note combination. Creamy white floral with a light powdery touch and the perfect spiced hint. Organza is coquettish and has the power to be a trail that bewitches, like Cacharel’s Lou Lou. Unique fragrances. Its bottle is one of the most iconic in perfumery.

  • This perfume reminds me only of my mother; I don’t know if I’d buy it out of nostalgia for her absence. It’s a wonderful fragrance, elegant and long-lasting.

  • Coni Macarena Miel

A big no for me, mind you, as opinions are personal. For me, it’s too powdery; white flowers and powder just don’t suit me. Although it’s vintage and not bad, it’s much better than Chanel No. 5. I suppose the nutmeg doesn’t agree with me either, and the neroli feels too old-fashioned to me. The vanilla isn’t what I prefer. Taste is a matter of preference; if you like powdery white florals, you’ll adore it.

  • Jess Jiménez

Organza… Delicate, feminine, ethereal, and elegant. It’s a spiced fragrance with a strong personality. It’s feminine to the point of no return. It feels vintage, from the 90s, yet it doesn’t give the impression of an older woman; to me, it radiates power, opulence, and luxury. Ideal for cool and cold nights. Striking, with over eight hours on the skin and lasting on clothes for days. It opens well-spiced, with plenty of nutmeg and bergamot. After a few hours, the vanilla and amber come through over a woody base. The white flowers are always there, but I don’t see it as floral; rather, it’s a spiced oriental. An essential classic, elegant, warm, and feminine.

  • Monty Phyton

I bought it expecting it to be identical to Boudoir by VW, but it’s nothing like it; on my skin, it’s indistinguishable from Lancôme’s Trésor. In fact, I have one on each wrist and can’t tell them apart: same powdery, woody, and vanilla dry-down. It smells very distinguished and velvety. The price is high—I love Trésor and it’s cheaper—so why pay more for the same scent, longevity, and feeling? Anyway, now that I have Organza, I’m not returning it; I’m keeping it for the fairytale bottle, which is extremely unique compared to what’s on the market and seems to be appreciating in value. If you’re looking for a Boudoir substitute, Organza isn’t the answer because it lacks the tobacco, cinnamon, and aldehydic dried rose; it’s a fragrance that breaks the mould, warm, sensual, and with great projection. 🕯️ 8.5/10.🔥

  • Organza, so much to say about this little perfume… I had it at a friend’s in university and fell in love with its fragrance, though I did not buy it until a couple of years ago; it was always on my wishlist. For me, love enters first through the eyes; since I saw its bottle, with the silhouette of a woman in a strapless dress and a golden tiara, I was shocked. I am a collector of beautiful bottles and this is spectacular. As for the scent, it has the exact notes of my style: on my skin it smells of caramelised nuts, with vanilla and dusted iris giving an exquisite powdery drydown, as if those nuts were on a bed of white flowers, highlighting the gardenias, neroli, and jasmine. It is very winterly, transporting you to the Christmas season and the warmth of a fireplace, embracing softly like a suede wrap. It is one of my favourite houses, Givenchy, a guarantee of quality. Organza is a timeless beauty, a current classic that I do not believe has suffered reformulations, a great find in this era of fragrances going extinct. It remains that elegant, classic, and unique silhouette. For longevity I give it an 8/10: it projects strongly for 5 hours and close to the skin for another 3. Incredible, I recommend it 100%.

  • Organza remains divine, with that explosion of gardenias at the start and a warm, elegant, vanilla-drydown. It is one of the few that has not been dismantled by reformulations.

  • To smell Organza is to return to precious aromas of another era, when fragrance design was as exclusive as a jewel. I have just opened an old pot of body cream, intact in its box. The white flowers, warm vanilla, woods, and amber are in perfect balance. A little on the hands and I already feel perfumed; it is a true exquisite. I will buy one of the new ones, what beauty.

  • The perfume my aunt used and one that cannot be missing from my collection; it smells like a woman with money and I adore it.

  • I knew of it by reputation but never tried it until this year, when I sought it out for Christmas and fell in love. The opening is subtly spiced and fresh, with sweet flowers settling over a powdery base. With daily wear, the scent has evolved: now it is sweeter and more floral, more persistent yet not heavy, retaining its elegance while shedding that initial powdery nuance. It is a vintage perfume that fits perfectly today, a real find that can still be found in stores. Al-rehab’s Nebras oil reminds me greatly of it in the floral aspect, though this one is more musky and radiant.
