  What a delight and what sophistication in that matte white packaging with silver accents (I would have loved the cap in silver too). It carries the stamp of the Hommes line through its elegance; it’s not for sport. It’s citrusy, cool, fresh with spices and slightly woody; you can detect the incense and vetiver with a resinous touch in the middle. This new mist is a sublime blast, filling the body with an energising, elegant scent with a certain degree of sensuality. Very interesting, with good longevity and projection.

  Jimblue’s classic hits the spot again; I absolutely love it. Watch out for the spray: if you hold it down for half a minute, you’ll empty half the bottle and end up bathing in perfume. It has a slight resemblance to the Allure Homme Sport Extreme that I also own, but they aren’t the same. The Chanel is heavier and creamier due to the tonka, whereas this Dior is more delicate without losing intensity, anchored by an exquisite vetiver that keeps it well-wooded and masculine. In short: super realistic, fresh and spicy citrus, with a sweet, subtle and very woody base.
