Vanille Exclusive by Mancera

I bought a decant with high expectations as I’m a vanilla fan and read very good reviews, but I was totally disappointed. The opening is an earthy, slightly spicy smell, quite unpleasant to be honest. I thought it might be osmanthus since I don’t have other perfumes with that note, but I looked and it shouldn’t smell like that at all. A point in its favour is the longevity; it’s felt until the next day, and the dry-down is a very subtle sweet vanilla; it’s a pity that that unpleasant smell lasted so long. Fortunately, it was just a decant.

I was planning to buy it, but seeing that it has only been tested by women gives me the impression that it is more feminine than masculine. Also, lately, vanilla has been a bit overwhelming for me, so no, although I would like to try it. As I haven’t seen it in stores to smell it and I don’t want to play blind, I’m left without it.

It smells delicious; for me, it is creamy vanilla with juicy peach and aldehydic flowers, just as it comes out, it holds up well for a while. You don’t need more than four sprays because you can get saturated. It was a blind buy; I only followed a reviewer who likes the same notes and perfumes as me. To me, it seems a bit more feminine, but why put a gender on perfumes? I think anyone and any age could like it. The heat here is strong, so I would only recommend it in autumn, winter, and early spring, day or night, and anywhere, just controlling the sprays according to the occasion. It has a great resemblance to The One Essence.

Honestly, it was one of the perfumes I was most tempted to buy blind; I read so much and watched so many YouTube reviews that I almost gave up. Yesterday a sample arrived as a gift, and I say I would have thrown myself into it without a doubt. It’s pure vanilla, as the olfactory registers it, with notes that sophisticate it. It has a touch of Gold Prestige that I don’t like, but otherwise, it’s one of the few elegant and less rough Mancera scents. I own several Mancera perfumes and only two of which I don’t regret buying in large quantities: Roses Vanille and Aoud Vanille, although I hardly use them; I thought I would never buy Mancera again because my nose gravitates towards other niche brands, but this makes me wonder if it could easily become my signature.

This was my first niche perfume and I am truly in love with it; it is a super sweet, gourmand, and sophisticated vanilla, with a sugary touch that reminds me of a cookie. At least on my skin, the floral notes are deeper, but they don’t bother me at all. Don’t be taken in by the strength of its opening and wait for its evolution. Its longevity is excellent, like almost all Manceras; on my hair it lasts until the next day. As for projection, it is more subtle and coquettish; I normally use it in layering to highlight the sweet notes of other perfumes. I think it would be a good buy if you are looking for a Mancera perfume.

I’ve worn the fragrance for 7 hours and it has been love at first sniff for sure. Its opening is quite strong, so I recommend no more than two sprays covering skin and clothes. It is a clean sweet floral fruity scent; I love how the vanilla is handled politely, leaving an almost imperceptible note. It definitely reminds me of Jasmin Wisp.

This fragrance is undoubtedly elegant and subtle. Definitely, the vanilla and whipped cream are very present. I don’t feel it is gourmand; it is a bit sweet but I don’t find it cloying. Nor is it the typical sweet vanilla of other perfumes; this vanilla is subtle and delicious. On my skin it is not a beast, which happened to me when I tried Velvet Vanille; that one is a nose-killer in my opinion. Regards.

Since I’ve met it, I’m in love. It spoils me, caresses me, and makes me feel protected, like my mother giving me a hug. A musky vanilla that makes me feel incredible.

I can’t change my mind: this is how it smells to me. Every nose is a world; both are sweet and creamy, but not identical. I’m talking about fragrances because I own 12 Manceras, including Velvet Vanilla & Vanilla Exclusive.

Bought it blind today and it turned out well. Strong opening with vanilla, white peach and whipped cream, then it softens to reveal a creamy violet. It’s a beast in terms of longevity, a treasure in these times. It reminds me of another perfume I still can’t find. Ideal for autumn and winter, it wraps you up and makes you feel warm. Go on and try them, they’re brilliant. Potent, good sillage, and not mass-market. Edit: on hot days it doesn’t smell as good; the sweetness is hard to identify and I barely smell the vanilla.

It’s not a youthful perfume; it’s for women or men. I have eight Mancera perfumes and this is my favourite ❤️. Cream, peach, and sugar. Mmmmmhhhhh! Sweet and delicious! It feels like an exclusive, expensive perfume. I love it 😊

I suggest everyone sticks to reality. Vanille Exclusive doesn’t resemble Velvet Vanilla. Impossible! One is floral, the other is creamy gourmand. If you haven’t tried the products, don’t talk about them to avoid confusing people.

I’m not an expert, but my nose says this is magic. Upon application, it explodes: spicy herb, aromatic olive, and a strange note that, seconds later, melts into whipped cream and brown sugar in an incredible way. I smell all three notes at once, something I’ve never felt before. Gradually, a rich vanilla emerges, not too sweet, with a touch of neroli that makes it increasingly feminine, even though it’s unisex. After an hour, it becomes linear, dominated by vanilla with a faint trace of that initial olive. It’s a rare and beautiful scent that won’t suit everyone, but the longevity is impeccable. I tested it on my mum, and the initial olive note lasted for ages. 100% quality; I recommend it if you’re looking for something so different and lovely.

I had read so many negative reviews that I hesitated to buy it, but a friend recommended it and I absolutely loved it. It’s an adult vanilla, dry, and neither too pastry-like nor overly gourmand. It’s very pleasant, wearable all year round, comfortable, floral, sweet, and fresh. You appreciate the sweetness of the vanilla, peach, sugar, and whipped cream, all blended very well with the florals. Compared to other Mancera scents I’ve tried, it’s much softer, yet it lasts forever. I fell in love with it being a sober, distinct, and non-traditional vanilla; it’s super comfortable without being harsh despite the creamy neroli. I recommend it if you like dry, adult vanillas. I’m very happy; it’s one of my favourite Mancera scents and I enjoy it 100%.
