Verdial by Darkbeat Parfums

It seemed like a normal, linear fragrance judging by the notes and structure, but it is nothing like that. It opens green, fruity, sweet and pleasant. After a few minutes, the raspberry emerges, then the green notes return with more intensity, the raspberry lingers and white flowers join in. Very complex is its apparent simplicity; a great job with an excellent result.

Another new release from Darkbeat Parfums that I tried thanks to José Manuel’s kindness. The opening is rich, an explosion of sensations. You can detect the mandarin with its fruity sweetness and the green leaves that impart freshness and lightness. As it dries down, it gains a floral touch without losing that initial sweetness. On my skin, it lasted around seven hours. A unisex perfume, classy, delicate, and very elegant.

It smells rich, fresh and green, like herbs with something fruity and a citrus touch. It’s unisex, a non-massive aroma, niche type. Highly recommended. Congratulations to Darkbeat for this contribution to the sensory world.

I’m still testing Darkbeat’s jewels and this one has won me over. Perhaps it’s my favourite so far for its originality, though I have many more to discover. It’s a green scent that I adore, although they usually tend to be dry; here there is a unique sweetness and a marine touch that make it very own. In terms of creativity, the blend of notes is fascinating. It’s perfect for summer, but it screams spring. Upon application, I notice the mandarin very briefly, then the fruity sweetness of red berries balances the smell of freshly cut grass. The marine aspect adds a subtle salty counterpoint. Later, a vanilla base and a slight moss become distinct. It’s very unisex, balanced, refreshing yet sweet. I love fresh green fragrances over citrus ones, and this stands out for its sweet and salty nuances. The trail is moderate and lasts about 6 hours on my skin. Scent 8.5/10, Longevity 7/10, Trail 7/10, Versatility 7/10.

It’s a balanced and lovely scent: green, natural and creamy, like moisturising creams but with more punch. Gradually the fruits emerge, giving it a sweet and fresh touch that makes it unique and totally unisex in my opinion. The dry down is more balsamic, which gives it more intensity and longevity. Although the pyramid suggests fruity and the opening seems so, it actually smells very green, and after a few minutes, the sea becomes noticeable. Yet it’s not that usual freshness; it’s far superior, more nuanced. I can’t stop smelling it. The greenery is real, like the scent left on your hands after touching plants, perhaps honeysuckle. I love it because, at this price point, I can’t find anything like it. Totally unisex.
