  1. Original and minimalist, nothing like Profondo. It’s an addictive aromatic scent that smells like a luxury Mediterranean shower; that smoky touch and fresh density are spectacular. My favourite in the collection. Suitable all year round, ideal for those over 25 or for trying something well masculine if you’re younger.

This is ADG Profondo: leave the DNA behind. The opening is mandarin, the base is aquatic-sweet, and the heart-dry-down phase is the most interesting part of the entire fragrance.

Regarding Azzaro CHROME: the original from 1996 never lasted long and its projection faded quickly, but that was always the case. I had never seen any flankers in my city until I found this Parfum version at the Low Cost roundabout. It’s not a perfume designed to stand out and has nothing particularly special about it. Its main virtues are longevity, and although it’s not in Best Mode for projection, it is quite noticeable. It retains some of the original DNA, but overall it’s darker, more woody and less beachy; despite that, it remains summery and very versatile for any use, even at night, something the original didn’t allow. It’s an easy-to-wear, pleasant summer fragrance. I believe the era of Azzaro CHROME is coming to an end. I didn’t detect the metallic note, but it’s practical. Edit: on my skin, the green aspect isn’t noticeable.

The original Chrome from 1996 never lasted long and only projected for the first hour, but this has always been the case. In my city, I couldn’t find any flankers except this Parfum version at the low-cost roundabout. It’s nothing special; its virtues are lasting longer and having notable projection. It has some of the original DNA but is darker, with more wood and less beach vibe. It remains summery, versatile, and even suitable for evening wear, something the original couldn’t achieve. A pleasant, easy-to-wear summer scent. It seems the days of Chrome Azzaro are ending. I didn’t notice any metallic notes; it’s practical. Edit: on my skin, the green aspect isn’t noticeable.

Honestly, when I smelled it, I thought of fresh 90s perfumes. It evolves well and doesn’t become boring or typical, setting itself apart from the market. Ideal for the office or as a signature scent. I recommend it from the age of 30; it can be slightly mature without being over the top.

Blue-green, with the green notes predominating over the citrus. 100% masculine. It’s not common but also not novel. Ideal for warm and autumnal climates. Longevity is 7 to 8 hours with acceptable projection and trail, releasing bursts gradually. Perfect for the office: it doesn’t overwhelm or demand many compliments. If I were to define it in one word: CORRECT, no more, no less.

  8. At first I thought: what does this smell like? I didn’t expect such a strong hit of freshness and greenery. After five uses, I’ve realised it puts me in a good mood and is energising in the morning. It’s almost linear, but after two hours you leave behind a scent of cleanliness that lingers on clothes for up to six hours (I don’t wear it on skin as it doesn’t last). It’s absolutely worth it for being different from what I own. Those who say it smells like shower gel probably didn’t buy it; it’s not that simple. Everyone agrees it smells very masculine.

What a surprise! Very fresh, ideal for everyday wear, easy to like and doesn’t bother anyone. Perfect for summer. The trail isn’t very pronounced and lasts about eight hours; it holds up well. It’s not complex, not a compliment machine, but it will earn you one or two thanks to its subtlety and staying within your own bubble. A delicious citrus opening, I can smell the bergamot for hours, not explosive but present. The sage in the heart is defined and I perceive a fresh marine note even though it’s not declared. A base of soft woods, perhaps resinous as some say. Since I saw it, I knew I had to own it. If you like citrus, buy it blind and you won’t regret it.

Chrome Parfum Azzaro: just arrived and very happy with the scent. I’ll edit later on the performance. First impressions: very good. It delivers on the three notes: fir resin with a touch of forest, pines and conifers, very vintage. Then the sage rises with a green, bitter and clean touch, with a slight mentholated sensation. The bergamot adds brightness, like resinous and metallic golden citrus. But there’s something strange lurking that suddenly emerges: imagine all that thrown into a blue jacuzzi. Blue touches that give it modernity; without them, it would be vintage. In summary, I liked it. It’s a shower gel with pines, bitter green leaves and a fresh, sweet blue juice. Good purchase… for now. Performance review pending. EDIT: now I have the data. Longevity: 7-8 hours, not bad for a fresh designer fragrance, we know they reformulate often. Projection: good to average, not a beast but noticeable well and launches bursts from time to time. There’s the review. P.S. I also have a review on my YouTube channel Goné Valo Fragancias. Greetings and blessings.
