It smells like strong leather, it’s a dry and shrill thing. Absolutely unbearable for me.
A spectacle. A unique scent with an important olfactory memory, soft but present, multifaceted and interesting. 100% unisex. Absolutely versatile. Acceptable longevity and prohibitive price. A whim that is only worth it if you try it and it dazzles you, like me.
Well, I didn’t like it. It’s one of those scents that doesn’t appeal to me. I had the same experience with Existence by Amouage (which I bought blind and it was a huge disappointment) and actually I think they are very similar. A smell of incense that is too present. An incense refreshed by citrus, which makes a difficult combination for my nose. Not pleasant at first sniff. I’m sorry. Then there’s also the rose. That’s what I smell. Neither musk nor anything. Existence I had to learn to love because I had bought it, and I must say that after using it quite a bit, I acquired a taste for its development. Something tells me that with Musc Nurasana something similar would happen to me, because I insist, they are very similar. But with an impulsive purchase, I had enough. Thank you. This perfume is not coming into the collection.
Let me start by saying that I’m not a fan of musks in general, but this new extrait from Crivelli has enchanted me. I think this is mainly due to the fact that its name is misleading. If there is musk, it is very much in the background, like that of a skin warmed by the sun but just after getting out of the shower, and it is hidden under a layer of damp roses and very fresh incense, almost citrusy. I understand here the “nurasana” part from which Thibaud draws inspiration, because this combination seems almost meditative to me while being optimistic. It’s a bright morning and a happy peace. It lasts and projects much more than I expected, so, although in intention it’s a “second skin” type of perfume, in reality it leaves a super elegant trail and a presence that could well be worn at night. In fact, I see the connection with Impadia and Guidance, but here there is less opulence and more whisper, less velvet and more linen, less density and more light. For me, it has been a success after several releases from the house that had not excited me. 8/10.
