About Rose Palace
Rose Palace: Jean Paul Gaultier's New Oriental Floral Fragrance
Jean Paul Gaultier surprises with Rose Palace, a unisex fragrance that blends the elegance of rose with a warm, spicy character. Launched in 2026, this creation by perfumer Florian Gallo belongs to the Oriental Floral olfactory family, offering a rich and enveloping sensory experience.
With a scent pyramid that goes from the freshness of mandarin to the depth of vetiver and gaiac wood, Rose Palace promises to be a standout addition to the house's collection. Its balance of sweet, creamy, and spicy makes it a versatile option for those seeking something distinctive.
The top notes awaken the senses with Damask rose, an iconic flower accompanied by the citrusy sparkle of mandarin and a peppery touch of pink pepper. This initial trio creates a bright and slightly effervescent opening that sets the stage for the heart of the fragrance.
In the heart, the composition becomes more intriguing with black sesame and cream, adding a soft, milky texture, while cardamom and geranium contribute spicy and floral nuances. This blend generates a feeling of warmth and comfort, like an aromatic embrace.
The base notes anchor the fragrance with sweet vanilla, earthy vetiver, and smoky gaiac wood. This combination provides a persistent and sophisticated sillage that evolves on the skin with a woody and slightly balsamic character.
The main accords of Rose Palace include woody, floral, and vanilla, with spicy and lactonic touches. These elements intertwine to create a perfume that is both elegant and bold, suitable for various occasions.
Perfumer Florian Gallo, known for his mastery of complex compositions, has achieved a remarkable balance among the ingredients. His approach to rose, treated in a modern way, brings a contemporary twist to Jean Paul Gaultier's tradition.
Jean Paul Gaultier, always provocative, presents Rose Palace as a style statement. The fragrance invites exploration of the duality between classic and avant-garde, in line with the house's philosophy.
Rose Palace is designed for men and women who appreciate oriental floral fragrances with character. Ideal for those seeking a scent that conveys warmth, sophistication, and a touch of mystery, perfect for cold climates or special occasions.
In summary, Rose Palace is an intriguing proposal that combines the elegance of rose with a creamy, spicy base. Although its rating of 3.9/5 suggests it's not universally loved, its originality and quality make it a worthy consideration for lovers of unique perfumes.

It’s a blend of Amber Roses and Roses Vanille by Montale. Very pleasant, but nothing original and twice the price of those.
