A lady-like aroma with a constant vanilla and woody contrast, very dry and warm. It envelops and tempers, adding elegance, of the style that makes it seem like Hypnotic Poison, where it seems the ingredients exist in powder format. Vanilla, wood and sun-dried flowers. The notes are felt so distinctly in parallel, with one predominating over the other on each type of skin, like in a pentagram where many notes sound at once. Its magic is the personal touch it creates on each skin; mine isn’t one where it works. Nevertheless, I’ve heard it on other skins and it seemed very special. It’s worth trying and giving it a chance because it has personality. In the contrast of its notes lies that particular identity.
An imposing and strong blackcurrant that opens with the phrase: HERE I AM! How beautiful, these are mass-market perfumes that I don’t dislike at all. Year after year I love the fragrance, not to mention the flankers, but the OG takes my prize: simple, beautiful bottle. Don’t abuse the sprays, ideal for going to dinner or after a relaxing bath. I’ve heard many comments that it’s a headache; it’s one of those delights you need to know how to wear. An eternal love for me, and I love it on whoever wears it; I’ll want it for life, as it’s also my mother’s and my sister’s signature scent.
It’s a fruity bomb, vanillaised and sweet. On my skin I smell blackcurrants with roses bathed in a delicious vanilla syrup. It’s not the most unique perfume in my collection, but without a doubt it’s one of the most loved and praised. Its longevity is good and it projects a lot.
It gives a headache, little does it. It’s loud, and gives the impression that you’re walking down the street and hundreds of people are wearing it, as it’s similar to others. Class is low, projection is too high.
I liked it when I first bought it, but over time I’ve liked it less and less. The scent felt a bit overpowering to me. I like strong ones, and this is one, but it gets a bit tiresome when you wear it for a season.
I like it and every time I use it, I like it more. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s noticeable. Sweet but not too much, feminine to the maximum. Many people wear it, and that’s the point that stops me feeling special when I use it. I can only say good things about the SI. For me, it’s an SI. Edit: I’ve bought it several times now and must say it’s still a divine perfume; other versions are in fashion now, so I take the opportunity to feel a bit more exclusive 😉
I bought it because I’d used the Iap Pharma n.31 inspiration before. It smells the same, but the original lasts longer on the skin. It’s very pleasant, sweet and fruity. I usually like anything with cassis or blackcurrants. Don’t overdo the sprays; less is more. Because of so many dupes, I later went and bought the original seeking that scent but deeper (it won’t be the first or the last). A great favour they’re doing to big brands 😁
It was a blind buy; at first the scent didn’t grab me, but with every use I fell in love. The only ‘but’ is that on my skin I didn’t feel spectacular projection. After a few hours, it’s only felt very intimately. If you like the scent and want more projection, I recommend the Intense version, as they share a very similar DNA.
It opens with a floral and woody bomb, then in a few minutes turns sweet and spiced. I think it suits evening and cold days better. Very elegant, ideal for special occasions.
I let myself be guided by the main notes thinking I would go mad… And I didn’t. I should have listened to those who said it wasn’t for blind buying. I don’t smell it sweet, but very dry, almost like a hit to the nasal cavity that makes me want to move away. It’s intense; I think two sprays are more than enough. It has a lot of presence; it’s an elegant perfume that gives a woman confidence and great personality
Sweet but fresh. Intense yet not cloying, suitable for any season, it lasts hours and hours on the skin and clothes without needing to bathe in it; with just a couple of sprays it is more than sufficient. This perfume is elegant and seductive, perfect for special occasions; it was the one at my wedding and to this day I would choose it again. Despite the bottle being five years old, it remains as good as the first day. I have very little left and as soon as it runs out, I will undoubtedly replenish it. One of the best perfumes I have ever had, I simply adore it!
Definitely, the name suits it perfectly. Yes, it turns heads. Yes, it’s intense and characterful. Yes, it shouts to the world that you’re a woman who knows how to choose. It’s a bold fragrance: if you prefer soft, floral scents, this isn’t for you. Used in moderation, it lasts well and leaves a trail (I keep it for outside summer as it gets heavy). It smells of luxury and class. It’s for seducing, without a doubt. It is, in itself, a statement of femininity.
ETERNAL LOVE FOR THIS CLASSIC. It’s one of my favourite perfumes in life. So fresh, beautiful and elegant. I discovered it while looking for a gift for my mum and fell in love the moment I smelled it. It was her signature scent for a long time. Although it has become very popular in the last decade, it’s one of the few popular scents I never get tired of; every time I return to it, it still fascinates me as much as the first day. I don’t even mind that so many people wear it, whereas I usually seek the original. It’s a delight: that sharp patchouli, the accompanying freesia, and very subtle notes of wood and vanilla. A fresh and exquisite sweetness that doesn’t overwhelm; on the contrary, it leaves you wanting to smell it more. It has incredible homogeneity, with every note in its place and quantity to create this balanced marvel. It’s super versatile, although I prefer it for daytime occasions. It smells of pure elegance. The trail and longevity are an absolute ten; I can smell it until the next day and even after showering, a lovely trail remains on the skin. It’s always a pleasure to reunite with Si
If Armani is an autumnal floral, warm and woody with a deep vanilla base, it’s lovely and elegant, slightly formal. However, its trail is light (I hope it improves with time) and the longevity is about five or six hours. In my opinion, it’s expensive for the average performance, but it’s pretty. I don’t smell much rose; instead, I detect a berry jam with vanilla and woods; as it’s not strong, I wear it every day to keep my work demeanour sober. It belongs to that range of classic woody florals like L’Interdit, Dahlia Divin, Crystal Noir, Burberry Black or My Way (they are different but similar). The formula is simple: if you like these, you will like Si de Armani. Ideal for women in corporate jobs; if I had to gift it to my boss, I would choose this
It’s a real gem, with projection and longevity at 9/10. An elegant, classic and timeless scent, perfect for young girls or ladies, ideal for working in enclosed offices or going out to dinner. The bottle is fine and elegant. I will buy it again and recommend it 100% for gifting or blind buying if you’re looking for something adult and elegant
Warm but not overpowering, with that Mediterranean touch I adore for all year round
One of my absolute favourites. It lasts a long time on the skin, fixes beautifully and is noticeable from afar. It’s sweet, feminine and I love it
I agree with several comments: it’s just another perfume, without a strong memory or being a signature scent. It’s one of those aromas that, when you pass someone on the street, makes you think of a lady who has put on something elegant and refined. It doesn’t evoke anything specific, just that she has applied a perfume
It’s that perfume where, upon greeting someone, you shout within seconds: ‘You smell wonderful, what is it?’. It took me a while to identify it among the mistakes or flankers, but I now have my answer. For me, this fragrance is the very definition of womanboss
It has a soul that transports me straight back to Miss Dior Chérie from 2005. It smells like Christine Nagel, with woods and patchouli; it’s sweeter than the original but not overwhelming (though it loses a bit of elegance). Perhaps I won’t buy it, but I respect it 👍🏼
I bought it in a hurry and, honestly, my respects because its evolution was positive. Although I’m not usually into sweet or heavy perfumes, this one slowly won me over. On my skin, the cashmere and vanilla stand out; I barely perceive the florals and woods, resulting in an exquisite liquor-like quality without being heavy or loud at first. When it settles, it becomes like a blackcurrant liqueur but powdery, radiating authority. I noticed that over six months of use, its longevity has become longer with each passing month. Con: on me, it doesn’t project and lacks the sillage I would have liked; I hope that changes with time. Edit after more than a year: after saying sweets aren’t my thing, I must say this has all my heart. It seems you have to let the composition touch the oxygen and transform into magic. 12 hours of brutal performance; wherever I go, it’s praised, I sleep, and the next day I still feel small bursts and the scent close to the skin. On me, it’s slightly sweet, slightly fruity, powdery, patchouli-like but also greeny, and it’s beautiful haha, I’m in love.
My parents gifted this perfume to my sister when they returned from a trip. She waited to open it and show me. We both loved it because it reminded us of a fruit punch prepared where we grew up, and with it, all the time spent with our grandparents and loved ones during the start and end of the year in previous decades. Floral, fruity, sweet, and charming. Perhaps it’s nostalgia, but we both agreed it’s a delicious aroma.
It’s a perfume with presence, woody, with a clear vanilla base. It has good projection and longevity. But I see it as something for adults. What happens for me is that it’s my mother’s signature scent, and I find it hard to move away from the concept of an adult, formal aroma when I smell it. It’s associated in my mind with a coquettish and elegant lady ❤️
Well, perhaps no one cares, but I did a blind test with samples and it matched Burberry Her perfectly. I mention this because in that perfume, with its millions of notes, the scent comes across as incredibly flat, which isn’t the case here… it’s not a great fragrance, but for such a few notes, they are superbly placed. The settled patchouli is beautifully anchored by the vanilla, the freesia lingers to give a rich creamy touch, and together with the rose, it adds depth. The only downside is that it’s nothing spectacular, which is why I didn’t add it to my wishlist, but it pleasantly surprised me; in fact, I think it could make a great blind gift.
I have an old decant, so the review might not be very representative of what a new bottle should be like, but it smells of patchouli, patchouli, and more patchouli.
A super elegant, sweet, and warm perfume. It’s not really my style (I prefer the Intense version), but I wear it on formal occasions, a daytime meeting, or an afternoon conference. It doesn’t have great projection on my skin and lasts about 5 or 6 hours. I have a 15ml version that came as a gift with purchase; I thought I’d love it to have the big bottle, but I wouldn’t buy it.
Definitely, the Si range is excellent; I own several, but I wouldn’t buy the Eclat again. The rest? Absolutely, yes 🥰
Smells like earth.
Pleasant but a bit underwhelming. On my skin, it’s a soft spicy floral; I can’t detect either the patchouli or the vanilla. Unfortunately, it has poor sillage and lasts a maximum of five hours. Without a doubt, I’ll stick with other Armani perfumes. Don’t buy it blindly.
I’m surprised people say it doesn’t last; I’ve been wearing it as an evening scent for years. It was powerful and lasted forever, to the point where people in the club would come up to tell me how good it smelled. Any other options like this?
It was my first signature perfume. At 20, I loved it and wore it daily. Then I switched to 212 and the Sì was relegated. Ten years later, I smelled it again and couldn’t resist, so I re-bought it. It is incredible how scents transport us. Today my bond has changed: it feels heavy, very sweet, I struggle to wear it, and it hurts because it was my great perfume love. I have it in 100ml with cream and gel. I will use it, it will last a good while, but I don’t know if I would buy it again. Perhaps nostalgia will fade and I will go for a smaller bottle. Anyway, I think it is a great fragrance: warm, standout, and distinctive. Today I prefer softer scents.
I bought it in 2025 and they must have re-formulated it; it’s like putting a Kir Royal on top. I will leave it for a while to let it breathe, but it is very disappointing, didn’t last long, and had zero projection, very close to the skin. I hope to update this in time.
I like it quite a bit. It is sophisticated, elegant, and suitable for daytime. When it dries down on my skin, it smells like a high-end facial cream.
It is the definition of sophisticated and elegant for someone who isn’t. It is not a perfume that ‘dresses’ you, and besides, on my skin it turns sour after a while.
I love it; it is too elegant and addictive. Perfect for dates.
Definitely one of my favourites; I bought it blind and it is an addictive scent. It’s not for everyday wear, nor is it too formal, because it is rich and wearable, not overpowering. To me, it smells 100% of fresh flowers, baby-like, a clean aroma which is what I like most. I give it a 9 for projection and longevity on clothes and skin.
I like it; I notice a better integration as the vanilla and woody notes dry down. I feel it is special and unique. I want to try the other flankers, especially Sì Passione Intense.
On my skin, it smells like classic Christmas punch: guava, apple, cinnamon, rum, tejocote, raisins, and plum. It smells sweet, not heavy, with a moderate trail. Very well made, but I would only wear it on cold days.
It is elegant but very heavy; if I wear it close to my face, it overwhelms my senses. For me, it only works in the office during cold weather, not to feel fresh or uplifted. Not one of my favourites; I think it could be annoying to people nearby.
Smells elegant and sophisticated, but gives me the impression it’s for someone older. It doesn’t quite convince me.
