Exquisite fragrance. A burst of cherry and red berries hits you all at once, leaving you breathless. Everything is perfectly balanced. While I can detect the amber notes, the cherry shines brightly without stealing the show. The ambergris, rum, and fir resin do the heavy lifting. Of all the cherry scents I own, this is the queen: Ambre Rubis. The solid bottle and formula demand admiration. It’s unisex with a subtle feminine touch, perfect for making an impression. It lasts incredibly long and leaves a trail without being overpowering. Ideal for going out at night and shining. Irresistible! ❤️ Edit: This was my perfume to ring in the New Year; I wore it all night long. 10/10

Delicious at first, it brings back memories of my childhood sucking on a lollipop… but what a surprise, it fades quickly. On my skin it lasts very little and leaves no trail; I don’t even notice its evolution. Although I have a pH that usually suits perfumes, this and Montale Tonka have been disappointments: they smell good but don’t perform. If you buy it, test it in-store or decant it and let it settle. From the line, Tabac Nomade is the only one that truly performs for me.
Psicostasis
It opens with a lollipop cherry that gives you a fright, but the heart has little to do with the fruit. It’s a rare blend, almost aquatic, of amber musks, laundry-like notes, and a cloying sweetness. It has subtle floral contours of jasmine, green, oily, and almost spicy, which slowly incense. It leaves a beautiful, neutral, and subtle scent, like ambient music. If the cherry persists, it does so in a ghostly way.

It starts with a 100% punch. Does it ring a bell? Those cherry sweets found in Spain. It smells of sweet and sour cherry exploding in your face. Do you like it? I find it a bit excessive. The good news is it doesn’t last long and the magic arrives immediately: rum, jasmine, woods… complex yet not dark, they shine thanks to that initial cherry note. Very interesting to try, recommended for both girls and boys.
