Highly recommended. Absolutely delicious, I can’t find any resemblance to the perfumes I own. It lasts many hours on the skin, but days on clothes. For me, it’s a 10/10.
Highly recommended. Absolutely delicious, it doesn’t smell like anything else I own. It lasts hours on the skin, but days on clothes. For me, it’s a 10/10.
A great surprise with Aoud Orchid. I bought it blind as a second-hand item, but it was actually brand new. It smells more feminine on blotter, but changes completely on skin. In my opinion, it’s very versatile. It’s a heavy scent, a kind of floral petrol, reminiscent of gasoline and asphalt; it reminds me of the Wind Wood Orchid version. You notice a light coconut and peach at the start that disappear within minutes. It’s not fruity, but rather a very heavy, crushed floral touch of orchids that becomes sweeter over time. The liquid is very oily. If you try it, better on skin; don’t trust the atomisation on dryers. It changes massively when applied.
My first Mancera and certainly not the last. I love it! At first, it smells like those classic rose and oud scents, but when the rose is replaced by orchid and coconut is added, the effect is different. At the start, you notice that animal and medicinal touch of the oud (though I’m not sure if it’s actually in it, but it gives that impression), which then fades. As it dries down, the orchid and vanilla dominate. It reminds me a bit of Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidée Vanille, but with more flower, less vanilla, and lasting much longer. For me, it’s unisex, ideal for daytime, very versatile with the weather and season. In summary, it’s a rich, sweet floral with great longevity and is found cheap online (€70/120ml). Top quality and I’m eager to try more from the line. Scent: 9 Longevity: 9 Projection: 7 Value for money: 7 (looking for deals) Versatility: 7 Overall: 9
To date, I’ve bought four Mancera Unisex fragrances blind, and I think they lean more towards feminine, but with Aoud Orchid, I’d say it’s 70% more masculine. It’s a pity because, given the notes, I thought it would be a bit more wearable for a woman; orchid, patchouli, musk, and an overflowing orchid. Everything I can perceive in this fragrance is perfect for men. Do I like it? Of course, but if my partner, brother, or father wore it.
Until today I’ve blindly bought four Mancera Unisex perfumes and I think they lean more towards feminine, but with Aoud Orchid I’d say it’s about 70% more masculine. It’s a shame because, given the notes, I thought it would be a bit more wearable for a woman: wood, patchouli, musk and a profusion of orchid. That’s all I can perceive in this perfume; it’s perfect for men. Do I like it? Of course I do, but if my partner, brother or father wore it, it would be even better.
Delicious, with considerable longevity (approx. 8 hours). I wouldn’t categorically say it’s more masculine, as on me (a woman) it didn’t feel or turn masculine at any point. That said, for those not accustomed to niche fragrances, it’s better to test before buying. If you already know Mancera, it’s a safe purchase.

In my opinion, it’s very versatile. It’s a very heavy scent, a kind of floral petrol, reminiscent of gasoline and asphalt; it reminds me of the Wood Wood Orchid version. The initial light notes of coconut and peach fade away within minutes. I don’t find it fruity at all, but rather a very heavy, crushed floral aspect of the orchids that becomes sweeter as the hours pass. The liquid is very oily. If you plan to use it, it’s better to test it on skin first; don’t rely on the impression from a dry atomiser. It changes drastically on skin.
A misleading fragrance at first. I bought it because orchid is my wife’s favourite flower. When she tried it, she didn’t detect the orchid and wasn’t entirely convinced, but what a surprise when my youngest daughter tried it and found it smelled fabulously good on her, with the coconut and vanilla notes dominating. I was pleasantly surprised, so much so that my little one is now asking for the fragrance for herself. I can say it was a very good purchase.
It’s a unique fragrance for my nose, honestly, I’d never smelled anything like it before. It’s very delicate; the standout notes are orchid and coconut—the latter is a beautifully executed coconut, neither too sweet nor too creamy. You can also detect the subtle citrus undertones and patchouli. However, I find it leans more towards masculine, I’m not sure if it’s just my skin type. The longevity is excellent, and it’s a lovely fragrance overall.
