  1. I tested it on my skin because, when smelling the bottle, its spicy and amber notes stood out most among the four options from the house. A grave mistake; on my skin, it took on an overly sweet, ultra-synthetic vanilla-and-coffee accord that makes me feel nauseous, and it stayed exactly like that, unchanged, until the next day. It has good longevity and projection, lasting even through a couple of hand washes. It’s a unisex fragrance for cold weather, but it smells like so many others in this category: cloyingly sweet, with a coffee note that smells more like coffee with cigarette ash to me. In fact, the first thing that came to mind was Black Opium, a perfume I can’t stand, although BO seems less unpleasant. Pleasant: 3/10 Interesting: 3/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 4/10
