The one that scores ten without even trying! In a sea of lavenders and citrus, this fragrance could be a complete miss, yet it’s flat, refreshing, and yes, intense. ‘Cologne Intense’ is somewhat unassuming in its notes, with a marked lavender that will be your constant, mixed with citrus that starts fresh but then blends with the lavender to settle on the skin. It feels like a forgotten gem from the 2021 generation, a quiet companion no one notices until they do something right. IT LASTS! For its price and notes, it shines with intensity; the name isn’t misleading. For me, used to citrus lasting a breath and lavender fading away, this has lasted eight hours on my skin and even survived a shower. It leaves a bombshell trail for the first hour, then notable intensity for another two, and a further three acceptable hours for conversation. In summary, six hours of very good longevity, plus another two where someone nearby can identify it. Excellent attributes, especially considering the modest price; it compares well with YSL Eau Fraiche, though without the ginger and spices. Can it replace my trusted lavender scent? A solid yes, especially considering lavenders no longer surprise but remain polished references that have reinvented themselves. ‘Cologne Intense’ could please many, between 18 and 35 years old, reaching its peak potential. Fresh, summery, and perfect for the beach (many smell good but don’t last; here the lavender anchors the citrus). It goes from informal to casual office, with the best fit being a relaxed atmosphere. If you like citrus or lavender, you can buy it blind. It’s not surprising, but it delivers: fresh, refreshing, and zesty. Probably goes unnoticed, but it’s the surprise of the year, the best in its class that didn’t even enter the exam. Sprays: 6 to 10. Sillage: moderate to extensive. Intensity: medium to strong. Longevity: 9. Awards: Surprise of the year.

  • What a brilliant fragrance from Azzaro! They’ve really nailed it. Not many people talk about it in the community, but it has everything to become a trend: great scent, longevity, projection, and an excellent price. It opens citrusy, like freshly cut, and the lavender adds cleanliness. At first, the lavender might feel a bit ‘dirty’ on the first few wears, but that lasts less than five minutes. It’s an excellent everyday perfume and also for special occasions.

It’s very similar to ‘Pedro del Hierro for Men’, but with less projection and three times the price. That said, the bottle is prettier and has that summery vibe.

  • Diverland

It’s not just fresh; it’s super refreshing and delightful. That opening lime note envelops you, followed by a soft lavender that lingers for hours. I’d recommend it for this spring/summer season; it lasts forever on my skin, delivering a rich freshness. At a good price, I recommend it 100 per cent.

It’s not a fresh perfume; it’s super refreshing! That lime opening envelops you and leaves that soft lavender lingering for hours. I recommend it for spring and summer; it lasts me a long time on the skin with an incredible feeling of freshness. At a good price, I recommend it 100%.

  • It begins with a citrus freshness that lasts throughout the scent, accompanied by that precise touch of lavender that gives a sense of cleanliness, with a very subtle balsamic note coming through in the dry down. In my opinion, it’s very well crafted. If you’re looking for a citrus that gives you an energy boost, don’t hesitate; it’s highly recommended and adds so much to my collection.

  • What a great cologne! Citrus, green, and very masculine. Ideal for hot days, although in extreme heat its intensity might become overpowering due to its weight. The quality-to-price ratio is impeccable, and for a citrus, the longevity and projection are excellent. The name ‘Intense’ is well-deserved. Highly recommended. 8.5/10.

  • Simple yet effective fragrance: it’s like lemonade with a subtle hint of lavender. Perfect for spring and mild warmth, though it might not be the best choice during extreme heatwaves. It’s not the brand’s star and could easily go unnoticed, but it certainly has its charm. Its only flaw is typical of citrus scents: short longevity and a very discreet sillage.

  • A simple yet effective fragrance: a fresh lemonade with a subtle lavender, ideal for spring and a little for summer, though not the best for extreme heat. There’s not much to say; it’s not the house’s finest and could easily go unnoticed, but it’s interesting to try. Its weakness, like all citrus colognes, is longevity and sillage; it’s discreet and fades quickly.
