Generic and heavy floral scent that fades quickly and leaves hardly any trail. People compare it to Dior’s J’adore, but it doesn’t even look like it. That other one is a top-tier floral, elegant and powerful—qualities this Molinard lacks.
This house smells of luxury and exclusivity. They say only 5% of the world knows about it; what an irony, eh? But they are aromatic jewels. Yes, it resembles Dior’s J’adore, but I think it smells more like Marc Jacobs Decadence, the green wallet-shaped bottle. It’s sweet, almost honeyed, perhaps due to those notes that take you to a precious honey. It’s fresh; I wear it at night or in the cold, and it lasts well. Always elegant, lovely.
Oh, I was wrong about J’adore.
I had my doubts, but in the end, it’s a marvel. A floral and fresh opening with a subtle sweet touch, very soft, just right to balance it. It reminds me a lot of Dior’s J’adore EDP. What I notice most are white flowers, woods, and a very soft musk. I’m surprised no one has reviewed Bel Air, but it was a shrewd purchase.
