  Surprising fragrance. This house is usually weak on longevity and trail, but this is an exception. Potent opening, almost pyrotechnic, very woody and spicy that left me speechless. It has great depth and intensity, with a cumin sensation even though it’s not listed. As it dries down, leather and cedar emerge, with a moderate citrus touch, then balancing with oakmoss, sandalwood, and tarragon. It’s a mature and elegant aroma, with strong presence for the first two hours, then settling into a moderate trail and projection for 7 to 8 hours. I don’t see it as suitable for women; very masculine, reminiscent of Itinerantur Almah Parfums 1948. Scent: 9/10, Trail: 7.5/10, Projection: 7/10, Longevity: 7/10.

  I found it by chance; the seller suggested another (Dome Rosa), but upon testing on my skin, this left me speechless. That blend of cypress and cedar at the start is brilliant and lasts a couple of hours; they are deep notes. The citrus is barely noticeable, as if the perfume leans on the moss and sandalwood, giving it an earthy and spectacular air. It dries down with a suede-like leather touch that makes it elegant and masculine, more for night (though it works well by day). It’s not a beast in projection, but leaves a moderate trail for over 6 hours. Highly recommended.
