Although the name and the notes promise sunshine and sunsets in Las Vegas, the perfume smells more like a car air freshener than that magical vibe they go on about. It starts off with a hugely synthetic green citrus that makes you raise an eyebrow in true Ancelotti fashion. As it dries down, those musks drag the scent towards the abyss, into Lattafa territory, flat and sharp, all too reminiscent of low-cost perfumery. It wouldn’t matter if it didn’t cost what it costs (3€/ml). They wanted to evoke Malibu, but for me it’s landed more in the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. And it isn’t the first time with this brand.
