They gifted me this for my birthday in September and I took the set with the other new one. At first, I thought I preferred the other, but honestly, Ciel Rouge is my favourite. It’s an enveloping, soft, velvety scent – sweet and floral but distinct from today’s trends. It’s also fruity, vanilla-infused, with a touch of white flower that I thought was neroli, but it’s not here… It reminds me a bit of L’Interdit, the more intense versions. I’m not saying they’re identical, but it has something that evokes it for me. It’s sophisticated and doesn’t go unnoticed. It smells wonderful, projects just enough to get compliments, and lasts a good six hours on skin and longer on clothes… It could be my signature scent, I think it will be mine… It smells as if you’re eating a delicate French pastry while strolling beneath white flowering trees at night, with some rose bushes around… Delicious! (I have no idea what Davana smells like).
