Alchemy of desire, a fever for the divine and a golden sunbath. Majestic rose, jasmine, carnation, cumin, clove and saffron blend into a golden flower… Did someone say vanilla? Desired is exactly that: an overdose of familiar vanillins, Cashmeran and hints of gallic and cedar. Nothing fresh, all boring and overused. It tries to stand out with cumin at the start, but ends up shrill and too artificial. It’s aggressive on the skin and the other notes give it a stinging character that isn’t to my taste. As for the oud and roses… I’m surprised they claim these are the heart notes. To my nose, they simply don’t appear. This Desired awakens no desire whatsoever. A completely forgettable fragrance. Best wishes.

The truth is, I absolutely loved this perfume. It’s a very delicate and balanced rose with oud. It has an air of Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet and similar scents, but with less sweetness and is much easier to wear, even in warm springs. The trail is moderate and the longevity on my skin is about 10 hours, with the last 2-3 hours sitting very close to the skin. That said, despite liking it so much, I find the 160 euros for 30ml exorbitant and won’t be buying it. Scent 8.5/10, Longevity 10/10, Trail 7/10, Value for money 2/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8/10. Would I buy it again? No, I didn’t.
