A very well-balanced citrus blend. It feels like a fresh take on the 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain. On my skin, that sharp verbena blends nicely with the neroli and a hint of cedar and cinnamon. It recalls the original; the citrus notes are expertly crafted. Ideal for hot days, day or night, for someone classic yet with a free-spirited personality. Not for me, as I prefer orientals. I like the 34 more, though I recognise it smells good on others. Currently worn with trousers and a shirt, so it’s out for a casual look. Good essences, evolves on the skin, not linear. Citrusy, refreshing and with body.
One of the best I own! On my skin it’s more herbal, fresh and woody. Very little floral, but I love it. The fixation and trail are excellent, and I have no complaints about the longevity. I would definitely buy it again, a definite keeper!
Starts very fruity, giving a sensation of something citrusy, green and fresh, highlighting the grapefruit and citrus notes like bitter orange. In the base, spicy notes, juniper and lavender create a very particular effect, similar to fig leaves. This fig effect evolves little and feels quite linear. There are soft floral nuances, woody notes and above all that musky touch Diptyque usually puts in, leaving a very characteristic base. A pleasant, fresh and summery fragrance; you buy it once and then order another. Rating: 4
