Mandarin and pink pepper set the tone, leading to a centre of iris, vetiver and orris root over a bed of suede and musk.
At first, juicy mandarin is sharpened by pink pepper. The mood is citrusy with a light spiced touch, fresh rather than forceful.
Iris, both as blossom and orris root, then takes charge. It brings the powdered character and a violet impression, neat and tactile like fine fabric.
Vetiver lends earthy, aromatic and woody support. It steadies the powder and keeps everything dry and well defined.
In the dry-down, suede and musk melt into supple leather. The trail feels woody and musky, muted and comfortable against the skin.
It will suit lovers of tidy, powdery iris scents and velvety musks with a whisper of leather — understated, unisex and office-friendly.
