It’s a fragrance of pure lines, with a base of patchouli and bourbon vetiver. A woody blend with a fresh, colourful opening. It’s the most sophisticated version for evening wear or for those seeking something more sensual; the bottle is darker, in fuchsia and black, a nod to Saint Laurent’s smoking jacket and the night itself. Being more concentrated, its sillage is more emphatic: it begins with a fruity touch of lychee and raspberry that introduces the woody and floral heart, while the trail is reinforced by lily and oriental notes of amber and benzoin.
I absolutely love this scent. It’s one of my favourites, right up there with Midnight Poison.
