You can hear everything the composition brings; from the opening to the base, the notes are pronounced, although some stand out. For me, more the cinnamon, apple, nutmeg, coriander and cardamomo. I feel it as a blend between Montblanc Individual and YSL Nuit de l’Homme, a fusion. Perhaps the cardamom and semi-sweet notes make me think this way. Nothing bad about it, lasts between 7-9 hours. Yes, it gets quite powdery at the end, from the 5-6 hour mark, but it doesn’t bother me. It carries the Montblanc DNA. I recommend it for normal climates, neither hot nor cold. Ideal for daily wear, casual, work or parties, although it doesn’t project much; its trail is better, leaving a good path. Smells rich, the best of Montblanc so far. Very versatile. I was in the store and tried Lolita Lempicka; at first I liked it, but then I felt the strong licorice smell and stopped. I don’t like licorice. So I tried Mont Blanc Emblem, whose bottle had piqued my curiosity before. I wanted something to neutralise the licorice and it succeeded. I liked it. I didn’t think much about it, more the sales assistant’s comments, and bought a bottle. Yes, it’s pleasant, but the next day, with a rested nose, I felt a bit regretful. Although it’s a good scent, I didn’t find it as elegant or special as the Mont Blanc Legend, which I like more. I smelled it several times justifying the price. Was it worth it? No. Do I enjoy it? Yes. The best part is the dry down: it projects quite well, feels like lemon, a sweet touch of rose and grape. Interesting. In the end, it becomes a bit powdery. A pleasant scent definitely.

It matches the One Million in cinnamon and woody notes, but what unites them and reveals their similarities is a synthetic molecule called Pomarose (C11H18O), which gives a sweet rose scent mixed with something bitter, like a plum pit. I believe it is a well-executed scent, typical of Montblanc, but it leaves the impression that it will not be a favourite nor pass into history like other super-hits. That means it is not for the masses. It is elegant, a discreet accessory that does not intimidate or stand out, ideal for a personality that stands on its own. It is like when a lady wears a red dress with discreet necklaces and earrings so the dress stands out, not the accessories. It harmonises very well with a bespoke outfit without competing to be the most noticeable feature.

I have finally finished the 100ml. In Chile, it is available for very little money, which gives it a quality-to-price bonus. It took me a while to get used to it, but now I wear it at home before bed. It gives me a sense of well-being; the cinnamon, which usually bothers me, is achieved here subtly and sweetly. I detect the violet, and the blend of aromas is very well crafted, nothing synthetic. It is not a beast; it is discreet, ideal for autumn or spring. On my skin, it lasts 5-6 hours with little sillage and does not bother anyone. For work, I prefer something more stimulating. Now I use it at home and on clothes; the soft vanilla helps me relax. For the price, it is worth trying this Emblem; the bottle is very striking.

The Montblanc One Million is an amber, spiced, and suede leather fragrance. It is rich, yet lacks much potency; it lasts about six hours on my skin. I see it as perfect for an intimate night out due to its low projection. Those who notice the One Million spirit are right: they share the soul and seven of its ten notes. It is youthful, sweet, spiced with cinnamon, and heavy on amber. If you are tired of the One Million style, this is not for you, although it is less overpowering. However, if you are a fan of the PR One or similar scents, you will not be disappointed if you can find it at a good price.

Emblem Intense is very pleasant, generic but good. It opens floral and sweet, very similar to 1 Million in the first phase, with rose and a bubblegum aroma coming through. Sometimes it’s creamy, with echoes of 212 VIP. After a few hours, its spicy nature emerges: cinnamon, tonka bean and something herbal. It’s versatile, though better suited for autumn and winter. The scent is rich, but it loses out to other popular ones like 1 Million and 212 VIP in performance, especially projection. It’s very intimate, although it lasts more than eight hours

I have finished the 100ml in Chile; for the price, it is a bargain. It took me some time to get used to it, now I wear it at home before bed. The cinnamon, which usually bothers me, is here subtle and sweet. I detect violet and a well-executed synthetic blend that is not unpleasant. It is not a beast; it is discreet, ideal for autumn or spring. On my skin, it lasts 5-6 hours with little sillage, perfect for not being intrusive. I apply it to clothes to relax with that vanilla touch. For the price and the striking bottle, it is worth trying.

There are perfumes that provoke sharp reactions, but most Montblancs please everyone. Although it doesn’t convince all men, women adore it. Emblem Intense is super pleasant, cheerful and harmless, creating a passive aura that invites trust. My nose easily detects the cardamom, and here it does wonders: it removes the dessert-like effect of the cinnamon and makes it refreshing, nothing cloying. As they say, Montblancs are for meeting your girlfriend’s parents; they make a good impression. Trail and longevity are moderate. Very nice scent

I started in-store testing with Lolita Lempicka, but the anise closed the door on me instantly. Looking for something to neutralise it, Mont Blanc Emblem caught my eye thanks to the bottle. I bought the scent recommended by the sales assistant, and although the next day, with a rested nose, I felt it lacked the elegance of the Legend, I do enjoy its dry-down and projection. You can detect lemon, a pinkish hint, and something fruity that finishes powdery. It is a pleasant scent, but it is not entirely worth the price.

Smells very similar to synthetic One Million, but without that typical heaviness. This Montblanc is sweeter, with a floral touch, perhaps rose, and a base of cinnamon and wood. Sometimes a very subtle lavender comes through. It’s a super sexy scent, ideal for dates, thanks to those extra notes that make it seductive. The only flaw: it lacks projection and potency, despite being called ‘Intense’. In Argentina, it’s more expensive than the average for its line. Scent: 10/10, Intensity and Projection: 3/10, Price: 6/10

I found it to be a generic yet pleasant fragrance. At first, it is floral and sweet, similar to 1 Million with a bubblegum touch and a certain creaminess reminiscent of 212 VIP. After a few hours, the spicy nature emerges with cinnamon, tonka bean, and herbal notes. It is versatile, though better suited for autumn and winter. Its main drawback is that it smells like other popular perfumes and loses out on projection, being very intimate, although it lasts more than 8 hours.

There are perfumes that generate an immediate yes or no, but most Mont Blanc scents are agreeable to everyone. Emblem Intense is cheerful and harmless, creating a passive aura that invites trust. The cardamom here works magic: it removes the cloying quality of the cinnamon and makes it refreshing. Ideal for making a good impression, such as meeting your girlfriend’s parents. Sillage and longevity are moderate, but the scent is very pleasant.

Beautiful fragrance with an opening that dances between sweet and citrus. Every now and then one or the other dominates, until it stabilises on the sweet side, without being suffocating and very enjoyable. It resembles 1 Million Intense, but more delicate and less intense than Paco Rabanne’s. After about six hours, I took a shower and it was still there. Estimated longevity of over nine hours with a great trail. Very refined and elegant

Batch 2018: If you like Calvin Klein Man, go for this; it is the next evolutionary step, less light, less youthful, and more spiced (especially cinnamon), which enhances the sweetness. Perhaps it is not the best fragrance in the world (in what parallel universe does it resemble the One Million?), but it fulfils its function; the rest is smoke. In fact, my wife loved it. PS: Do not buy blindly; visit a store or get a decant.

Fresh and balsamic with a creamy touch; warm cinnamon and spices balance beautifully with cardamom, tonka bean, and a suede rose that adds distinction. Sweet and spicy, it is more intense than the original Emblem yet remains understated without being loud. The clary sage provides a notable detail. There is a pleasant balsamic unctuousness, and the bottle is very attractive.

Pleasant, balsamic and ‘creamy’, where cinnamon and warm spices stand out with cardamom, tonka bean, rose and soft suede. It’s sweet, spicy and discreet, more intense than the Emblem. Wearable, not strident or mass-produced, resulting in something interesting. The sage sclarea note is notable. I sense a certain balsamic unctuousness and warmth. The bottle is very attractive

A flawless commercial proposition! Despite negative comments, here the cardamom and nutmeg create a cheerful, fresh, spiced, and even tropical scent. It rests on the DNA of ‘212 VIP’ but with a distinct dry-down. It is playful, tasty, and generates plenty of compliments. Furthermore, the price (under £50 for 100ml) is unbeatable. A good fragrance.

It is the most praised fragrance I have ever owned: from sales staff to passers-by, everyone asked what I was wearing. It’s a shame it’s no longer available; I managed to grab a batch of five units and reserve them strictly for special occasions. I haven’t found a single dupe that even remotely resembles it.
Vilory
Innovative bottle design. It shares the structure with the Emblem, but the Intense version features a more refined and spaced-out finish, making it masculine, elegant, and full of contrasts. Perfect for everyday wear: it projects professionalism without being solemn, instead feeling relaxed and informal.

Fragrance: Poor. Projection: Decent. Longevity: Average. Quality: Terrible. Blind buy: Don’t even think about it. It is another of those store air fresheners, like Hollister or American Eagle. It does not smell bad, but do you really want to smell like that?

Fragrance: Poor projection. Longevity: Average. Quality: Terrible. Blind buy: Do not even think about it. Another one from the Hollister or American Eagle air freshener list. It is not that it smells bad, but… do you really want to smell like that?
La Nariz Simple
Nice scent, but poor projection and longevity. Acceptable quality, but not a blind buy. It smells good, yet nothing special or new. What a pity because it smells well, but it’s a very familiar scent with no surprises. 5/10
Pumita Diaz 4593
Very similar to 1 Million, with a medium trail and 3 to 5 hours of longevity on my skin. But I wouldn’t buy it again; my style is more woody
CesarinQ
Very good opening, but the longevity isn’t good. I like its sweet scent… good perfume!!!

It has an olfactively familiar vibe with Montblanc Individuell and Montblanc Starwalker.

It smells like bubblegum to me, is it just me?
