I’ve read that it doesn’t last long and has little sillage, but in my case it’s the opposite in a curious way: I stop smelling it after a few hours, but everyone who gets close notices it. I always receive compliments when I wear it. It’s soft, sweet, yet interesting. I like it more than the original. I don’t think anyone will dislike it, except those who can’t stand sweet perfumes.
Fantastic perfume! The smell of dulce de leche with cinnamon is so rich… If you overdo it, it can be a bit cloying, but it’s absolutely delicious.
You can definitely tell the dulce de leche is there! I’m not sure if the spicy note is cinnamon or anise, but it’s there. The floral aspect is delicate and sexy at the same time. I also detect coconut, perhaps due to the mix of all that creamy sweetness.
I bought it blind because I already owned the original and two other flankers. This is no exception: it smells delicious, like dulce de leche with floral, spicy, and creamy touches. It’s very wearable, elegant, and sexy. On my skin it lasts about four hours, but straight out of the bottle I get compliments.
Definitely worth it! I bought it blind and fell in love at first sniff.
Even though everyone seems to be wearing it, I remain a fan. It smells of creamy dulce de leche with a citrus opening that prevents it from being cloying. The sandalwood and white floral base make it delicate. It literally smells like an elegant, high-end dulce de leche dessert, as if it were worth a million. You can’t stop sniffing it.
I bought it blind and I don’t regret it for a second. It’s the richest perfume I own; nothing compares to this. It has a very particular and unique scent, very CH. It lasts for ages on the skin (more than 12 hours) and on clothes, needless to say.
I just bought it and it’s a delight. You can tell it’s different from the original, with a sweetness that doesn’t feel heavy. The dulce de leche note is very prominent. I’ve worn it in the heat and it doesn’t feel suffocating at all. The longevity is moderate, but it’s highly recommended.
They’re going to be discontinued, girls! Get yours while you can!
I used to hate the original Good Girl by Carolina Herrera until I tried it again and actually liked it, though I still think it’s a bit over the top. This lighter flanker is a different story: I absolutely love it for evening wear in autumn and winter. I haven’t tried it in summer yet to see how it holds up.
A very good perfume with an excellent trail and incredible longevity. It’s certainly a real stunner. My opinion is that it’s one of the best-fixing perfumes I’ve tried. I don’t understand those who say it’s softer and lighter than the OG, when in reality it’s much better in every way. With over 24 hours of longevity on the skin. It’s more milky due to the dulce de leche, but with a base similar to the OG taken to an incredibly sweet, potent, and long-lasting extreme. I feel very comfortable and versatile wearing it. That said, if you overdo the sprays, it can be invasive and slightly dizzying, but with one or two sprays, it’s brilliant. The best flanker of all and much better than the OG… without a doubt.
Feminine, sweet, sensual, and long-lasting… perfect.
Exquisite; it’s an extremely sweet, creamy, and long-lasting perfume. I can imagine a pot of milk just about to boil with mandarin zest and sweetened with dulce de leche. Its longevity is insane (over 10 hours) and its trail is very wide; I recommend it highly. I like it more than the traditional Good Girl.
I’ve been wanting to add it to my collection for a while; it’s the third time I’ve tested it on my skin. It felt very similar to Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord, which also has orange and chocolatey notes… that put me off because I don’t want two fragrances of that same style. The dulce de leche note doesn’t come through on my skin.
To me, it smells very similar to GG Suprême, just lighter. It lasts quite a while on the skin and has a good trail. This is the flanker I’ve liked the least because on my skin, I find the floral notes too potent and the gourmand notes get lost considerably. I still prefer the original Good Girl much more.
So delicious! On my skin, it has a fruity, sweet, and fresh opening, but over time it transforms completely into something potent, sweet like vanilla with dulce de leche. It’s exquisite, warm, and one of those scents you don’t want to stop smelling. It’s excellent, lasts a very long time with great projection. It’s worth every penny. Of the Good Girl line, this is my favourite.
It’s not my favourite GG flanker, although I prefer it to the classic. I’m not sure if I’m the only one who detects a tobacco scent at first (which I don’t like), which fades over time. It’s a sexy perfume, ideal for evening wear. Despite the dulce de leche note, I find it less sweet than the classic version. What’s impressive is the trail and longevity, especially the latter; the scent on my skin lasts up to 10 hours and on my clothes for weeks.
What a perfume! It smells different from everything else and is undoubtedly the best of CH’s little shoes. Sexy, sensual, gourmand yet not cloying. I adore it. Edit: thanks to this, I’ve given up on blindly buying, and the truth is it’s now my favourite in the collection. It doesn’t resemble anything else. It’s perfect.
I own it and prefer it to the classic Good Girl. On my skin, once it settles, it smells very chocolatey (less so than the original); it’s not quite as gourmand as a dessert, but it is sweet. If I hadn’t read the top notes, I wouldn’t have known it contained all the citrus notes I adore. The contradiction is that although I like the fragrance, I don’t love it because I live in a warm climate; everyone praises it, but I see it as suitable for work, meetings, or formal occasions only, nothing casual.
I absolutely love it; it’s so delicious. While the original Good Girl is good, this flanker isn’t as overexposed and is simply incredible. It lasts as long as they say—over 10 hours without reapplying or using Vaseline. It’s hard to find in some places, but it’s definitely worth trying because it’s too beautiful and tasty to ignore.
It’s extremely similar to the classic Good Girl, which I tried a few years ago and didn’t like, but with a slightly more trained nose, I can say it’s a remarkably special scent that doesn’t resemble anything else. This particular one seems more wearable to me because it’s sweeter, and I prefer sweet fragrances; however, it still feels like a ‘dry’, ‘rough’ scent… the base is bitter (I detect the cinnamon) but superficially it’s sweet, something incredible and difficult to describe. I’ll try it to see how I feel, but it’s definitely for a romantic night out; it can’t fail.
I have mixed feelings about this scent. On one hand, I like the dry-down; on the other, I don’t like the opening. To clarify: it opens very strong, like all the Good Girls, with rough accords I can’t distinguish; I don’t detect the citrus notes. However, once it dries down, things change for the better, at least in this Légère version, which transforms into something creamy and pleasant, like my favourite beach coconut sunscreen. Sweet. Lasts five or six hours on skin, with a trail of two or three hours. I find it unisex leaning towards feminine. It’s very praised by everyone.
What a super delicious, sweet, creamy perfume with a little floral touch! It’s the only Good Girl I like. It’s very pleasant to wear. It has good longevity and projection. I hope they didn’t discontinue it; it’s a fantastic perfume and I’m head over heels for it 😍😍😍
I found a great online deal in my country for this perfume (€65 for 80ml), which is already economical where I live as prices don’t drop below €130. Still, I didn’t want to buy it blindly thinking it might resemble the Good Girl EDP I already own, so I went to a physical store to try it. To my surprise, it doesn’t resemble its sister, Good Girl EDP, much; instead, after a while, once it dries down, it’s identical to The Scent Private Accord by Hugo Boss (which shares creator Louise Turner with it), which I also own. So I think I’ll pass on having this fragrance, as they seem like a pair of twins separated at birth. P.S.: It smells incredible.
I bought it again; it’s my favourite from CH, what a shame they’re discontinuing it. It’s sweet and gourmand, but very well balanced, super wearable and long-lasting. It’s elegant, youthful and versatile. A real beauty!
I tried it one day and fell in love. I bought an 80ml bottle because they said it was being discontinued. Well, I still like it, but I have a little problem: there’s a note in the opening that ruins the experience. I assume it’s the ylang-ylang, perhaps due to its blend with citrus, but it’s too penetrating and I dislike it. It doesn’t smell like cat pee, but it’s heading in that direction. After half an hour, that note settles and finally the best part emerges: it’s sweet, warm, and envelops you like a hug. I find it versatile, suitable for both parties and the office. I adore it, it’s very me, but the opening note makes me want to throw the bottle out the window. Well, now we’re stuck with the 80ml bottle, so I’ll keep using it.
Wonderful perfume. Its dry-down is sweetly intoxicating. I’d never bought women’s perfumes for myself, but this made me do so without a doubt. I really enjoy it.
I absolutely love it! Super delicious, sweet but not cloying, with citrus/acidic notes at the start. I didn’t know about it. The only downside is that on my skin, it lasts about 5-6 hours. How do you manage to make it last over 10 hours?? 🙁
What a pity it doesn’t last longer or project better, considering the price. If you love praliné, tonka bean, and dulce de leche, you’ll surely enjoy it. Ideally, it should last longer and be more noticeable; on my skin, it lasts about 5-6 hours before becoming almost imperceptible.
At first, it smells super mature and distinguished, and lasts long enough for that initial scent to fade, but once it dries down, it’s almost identical to the original Good Girl. I don’t detect any milky notes; instead, it feels like a softer, more vanilla-floral version of the original. I liked it, but it’s not for me; I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone under 25-30. On the other hand, I think the original Good Girl suits any age, although it’s more of a night fragrance.
Last year, reading reviews, GG Légère caught my attention. I saved up and searched until I finally found it this year to treat myself and welcome autumn. I read that it doesn’t smell like anything else, and according to my nose, they are right: it’s delicious and authentic. It’s my favourite, alongside Armani Code. Although I’ve had it for months, I took my time to try it in autumn, when the sun and wind combine. After these months, I’m in love: it’s sweet and creamy, but on my skin it doesn’t smell gourmand. I feel the opening is citrusy; bergamot and sharp lime stand out. I’m not yet familiar with ylang-ylang, but it’s very noticeable, softening the citrus with a gentle, sensual sweetness. When it dries down, I notice the jasmine and orange blossom, enchanting, balanced with dulce de leche and praline without being cloying; sandalwood, patchouli and cashmere give it a spiced, woody touch. It’s like being in a forest cabin drinking cinnamon or chocolate tea: cosy, autumnal, you feel the sweetness but also the wood and the fresh air outside. The trail is moderate; I notice it all day without being invasive, just spray carefully; the bottle helps with its vapour-style spray. The heel is beautiful <3. The longevity is wonderful: 8 hours on skin and days on clothes. It's expensive but totally worth it, I found it on sale so if you have it too, don't hesitate. My favourite perfume without a doubt, it makes you feel sensual, feminine and stylish. It's versatile, for day or night, perhaps not in summer. Suitable for everyday wear or special events.
I can say it has the perfect scent, sadly it doesn’t last long on me, otherwise it would be my favourite perfume. It smells delicious.
I have a great affection for it because it was the first one my mum gave me. It’s sweet but not cloying; it feels like a hug. The only downside is that I feel it doesn’t last as long on me as before, plus I don’t know if it’s discontinued, but I can hardly find it anymore.
I LOVE IT! I can’t believe they discontinued it. It smells very similar to the original Good Girl, so much so that I thought it was that one when I bought it. Having both, I don’t know which I prefer, but this one has that citrus opening that gives it a sparkling touch and balances perfectly with the heart and base. I feel that although it’s more for the night, it goes great for daytime events in autumn/winter. It lasts a long time on skin and even longer on hair. I recommend it without doubt.
To cut it short: it smells delicious, but the ylang-ylang opening is a disaster. If you remove that note, it’s a perfect perfume.
Good Girl Légère EDP is the good girl among the good girls of Carolina Herrera, and as a good girl myself, it’s my favourite. It opens sweet and acidic. The ylang-ylang gives it a rough, penetrating touch that can confuse some noses. It didn’t disgust me, but it certainly impacts. In the heart, there are many chords. When it dries down, it’s milky, enveloping, floral, warm, pleasant and delicate, with a strong presence. The first time I heard it, it sounded familiar; then I realised it reminded me of the milk gel I used in my teens. GG Légère is a comforting hug, a hot bath full of milk with flowers (orange, jasmine and rose), cinnamon, cocoa, soap, mandarin and litres of dulce de leche. It’s lighter than the original, less dark and nocturnal, but with beastly performance: 10 hours on skin and days on clothes. Although once dried down they are very similar, I don’t even like the original. Perhaps it’s due to the fame and having heard it everywhere. To finish, let’s talk about the bottle (sorry in advance). Loved and hated equally, the heel is a bit of a joke. The Bad Boy ray doesn’t fall behind and smells less memorable. Perhaps they are jokes, but they are fun and very identifiable with the brand, a perfect marketing strategy. Who doesn’t remember Karlie Kloss stomping around in her heels? I do. ‘It’s so good to be bad’💙
Unfairly discontinued. Smells rich and sweet. Please bring it back for autumn and winter.
I searched high and low to try it before buying. The opening threw me off and even gave me a headache; surely it was the ylang-ylang. The white florals are very present and it lasts a long time, leaving an interesting trail. In the end, it’s sweeter, slightly milky on my skin. Clearly not for warm days. If they adjusted that opening note that clashed with my nose, I might like it more than the original.
Take the other Good Girl flankers, but this one, nooooo.
I bought the sample because reviews said it was citrusy, sweet and versatile… and how wrong I was. It came out sharp, very sweet and the typical one that smells like everyone else. I thought it would be creamy, but no, it smells like a generic elegant perfume, like a blended mix of notes. Not for me 🙁
