I haven’t smelled it, but don’t you feel it’s just more of the same?
Come on, now the bottle is… pink with sparkles. Chimpum.
I tested it alongside the original; the original seemed excessively ordinary to me, and this pink one smells very similar, albeit with a slight variation. Personally, I liked this pink one more; I find it more feminine and fresh, but I’m still not sure if it’s worth buying. The sample on my wrist lasted about 8 hours. And finally, without offending, that pink stiletto with glitter seems quite tacky and bad taste to me.
It smells sweet, fruity, and intoxicating to me, a very rich scent to feel on a woman; personally, I’d be attracted to it and it leaves an exquisite trail. The difference with the classic is that the latter is more spiced, with an enveloping, heavy body, while this one is more fruity, floral, youthful, and bright. Both are safe options for gifting or blind buying.
I chose this flanker because in its opening the bergamot turns into tangerine 🍊. In everything else, it’s identical to its mother. I like this EDP for its longevity, intensity, and very moderate sillage (that’s how it behaves on me), and its aroma is quite unique. If it were more intense and long-lasting on my skin, I think it would overwhelm me. In summary, I’m happy to have it. A separate point is its bottle 🙄, what a thing so uncomfortable to hold and let the perfume express itself 🤭🤭🤭.
Bought it because it shifts from bergamot to tangerine upon drying down 🍊, though the rest is identical to the original. I absolutely love this EDP for its longevity and intensity, even if the sillage is moderate (that’s my perception). If it were more potent and lasting on my skin, I’d be overwhelmed. All in all, I’m happy to wear it. Just be careful with the bottle 🙄; it’s awkward to hold and doesn’t allow the perfume to project well 🤭🤭🤭
I have a love-hate relationship with this bottle aesthetically; I still can’t decide if I like the packaging, but what is clear is that I dislike the scent, both the original and this flanker I stumbled upon by chance, especially given the sheer number of unnecessary releases. As for the fragrance, it felt off and strange, as if the notes weren’t blending well: the opening is a 50/50 mix of sweet tonka bean and acidity, which I found so unpleasant I made a face of pure disgust; it just doesn’t seem coherent. Then the florals emerge, dominated by rose with woody undertones. The good news is the longevity and sillage; the bad news is the smell, haha. Scent 5/10, Sillage 8/10, Longevity 8/10 (3-6 hours).
I have a love-hate relationship with this bottle aesthetically; I still haven’t decided if I like the packaging, but what I do know is that I dislike the scent, neither the original nor this flanker I stumbled upon by chance, alongside the existence of dozens of unnecessary flankers. As for the smell, it went wrong, sounding odd, as if the notes don’t get along or are poorly balanced: the opening is 50% sweet tonka vanilla and 50% acid. I was put off, made a face of disgust; it doesn’t seem like a coherent aroma. Then the flowers come out, with rose and woods predominating. The positive is the longevity and sillage; the negative is the scent, haha. Scent 5/10, sillage 8/10, longevity 8/10 (3-6h).
I’ve never tried the original and I hate mass-market perfumes. My brother gifted this to me; on my skin it opens sweet but then turns fruity and spicy. Once dried, it smells incredibly like Dior Addict Shine. It’s not cloying, feels cheerful and elegant, smelling of the city and expensive perfume. I’d wear it in a law office, though my small town isn’t quite the place for daily use. I keep it for special occasions. It won’t leave anyone indifferent; it’s elegant.
I don’t understand why the passionfruit note isn’t listed; it’s the only thing I detect upon application.
