In Mexico there’s a spray insecticide for cockroaches called RAID MAX with a very potent smell. This Montale doesn’t even come close or resemble it. It’s identical, the exact same aroma. I bought it blindly, checked the box, the bag, the bottle, and even asked my wife, who had placed insecticide nearby. Try it properly before buying.
Update as of 15 July 2025: Take an orange peel, remove the orange part, and chew the white pith; that’s exactly what it smells like (if you could taste the scent, it would be that). Do not buy this blindly. The smell is incredibly strong; I don’t know which ingredient it is, it’s destroyed my nose, and my pH just doesn’t work with it.
It’s brilliant – a flawless, lovingly crafted jasmine blended with honeysuckle and orange blossom that makes it shine. It transports you to the courtyards of southern Spain, with dresses covered in flowers and ladies making brooches from them. It lasts incredibly long, leaves a trail without being overwhelming, and is only for those who truly love jasmine. If you want a pure, fresh jasmine scent, as if just picked, this is the one for you.
