It doesn’t seem like a Dior, but it has something that captivates you. I thought it would be familiar and monotonous, but the first impression on my skin surprised me. The neroli here is more bitter and refined; the rose is always present, fine and balanced. The scent is rounded and soft, not filling the room but it’s there. The floral and woody heart is lovely; give it a few tries and don’t be swayed by the first impression. With patience, after hours, it smells of delicious vanilla on skin and clothes. It’s more for cold weather; the sensual opening dissipates quickly, leaving a floral and creamy breeze. With the new Diors, it can sometimes be hard to find the right spot. If you try Joy Intense and don’t like it, give it another chance; better several times than once. I was lucky to try it thoroughly at home via an exchange; otherwise, I wouldn’t have noticed. Try it, wear it out, but don’t get discouraged. It’s harmonious, beautiful and balanced, with medium longevity and a light sillage, suitable for all ages. Lately, I feel it’s missing something to be perfect.

Dior Joy Intense is a floral jewel that on my skin becomes creamy sweet. From the start, the floral notes unfold with unparalleled elegance, creating a sophisticated and enveloping experience. Although fragrances usually don’t last long on my skin, Joy Intense challenges this with relatively good longevity. However, in the blind test, after five hours I couldn’t smell it anymore. That’s why I reapply every four hours to refresh it and keep it vibrant. What I love most is how the floral blend with a creamy and sweet touch has me head over heels. It’s a must-have, ideal for special occasions or daily wear. Joy Intense is a statement of femininity and elegance, perfect for those seeking longevity and a charming scent.

No one should hate this; it’s gorgeous! I know it’s not quite gourmand for me, but it’s incredibly beautiful. It smells like the 90s, very floral and talcum-powdered with a sweet vanilla touch. It’s feminine and formal, unobtrusive, and ideal for everyday wear. It lasts over six hours with a lovely trail. It could be my signature scent for hot days. It’s not a bomb nor does it revolutionise the world, but it’s perfect for closed events without being intrusive or going unnoticed.

I laugh at those who claim it’s super sweet; they’ve surely never tried Katy Perry’s Meaow, which is pure sugar. It’s a floral-vanilla scent, uncomplicated yet with an elegant dry-down and well-executed. The issue is that now it’s fashionable to splash on seven litres of perfume and still complain about longevity; I’d say it’s a nasal problem. It’s ideal for those who want well-crafted floral-vanilla scents, without surprises or twists.

I own it and love it for spring-summer in Spain. Very stylish, just like they say, a true 90s vibe. It’s clean, long-lasting and has good sillage. On my skin it’s very citrusy at first, but the dry-down and final stages are my favourite. An easy, pleasant scent suitable for a wide age range. Thanks Dior for something different, not copied from those boring sweet gourmands. I don’t know what those who say it’s sweet are on about.

In my opinion, the perfume is excellent; it’s like a reissue of the first Joy with slightly more predominant notes (such as jasmine) for those who like a slightly stronger scent. It doesn’t seem mediocre to me; both are good fragrances. The first is soft and the Intense is for those seeking something more intense. The thing is, these two are for those who don’t like high intensity, but rather want to feel perfumed.

I bought it blindly despite the bad reviews; I don’t understand why. It’s not usually my type, but when I put it on, I feel elegant, feminine and smell like a classy woman; perhaps it’s the musk. Dior handles musk and roses in an angelic way. I wear it all year, day and night, for semi-formal to formal events. The bottle is beautiful, the magnetic cap and the CD seal always stay upright.

I love it fresh, but this left me without a smile; on the contrary, I found it intense but boring. Too flat and for its price, it smells like cheaper fragrances. A floral citrus that smells of acidic flowers, as if they’d been soaked in bergamot leaving only the acidity. I don’t smell lemon, just acidic flowers. I wouldn’t recommend it; there are better comparables.

I love it! It feels sophisticated, delicate and elegant. Fresh roses blended with a sweet, natural touch of vanilla. Not all good fragrances need to smell like a subway train. It lasts about six hours; every skin is a different world. It has that special Dior touch, and the bottle in person is super beautiful, minimalist and classic, with excellent materials.

I just used it for the first time. Smells of sweet roses with jasmine and vanilla. Very rich and feminine. I’m not sure how long it lasts on my skin as it’s new. I also have the original, which I perceive as light depending on the day; I choose it for daily wear in the heat. I like both but I’ll stick with this intense one.

Very prominent citrus opening, then roses. Although it says jasmine, that accord is very subtle. The three protagonists are rose, tonka bean and sandalwood. On skin, rose with tonka bean gives a herbal sensation. When it dries, I sense a patchouli that I don’t like because I feel it’s synthetic.

What mentholated and camphorated note does this perfume have? I tested it on my wrists and rushed back to check the notes. No, nothing at all. My mind went to my grandmother’s knee-pain ointment. Am I going mad? I don’t smell any jasmine or roses…

It’s my summer evening perfume when I need a touch of elegance (weddings, dinners, etc.). I can’t describe it better than elegant, fresh, and sweet at once, like Dior’s vanilla. So you’re remembered without being overwhelming. Nothing more ❤️

Too powdery for me. It opens with citrus, vanilla, jasmine and lots of musk, but then smells of very strong powder with nothing else. For me it’s a no; I prefer its older sibling, Joy.

It’s my signature fragrance; it simply can’t be missing from my dressing table. Its powdery scent blends floral and sweet notes. It’s super cheerful and feminine.
