Kismet Magic: 90% similar to Angel Share, yes, but with a feeling of lower quality, nothing grave. Only for nights or cold days; in mild weather, about 4 sprays; in heat, don’t use it. What does it smell like? Vanilla with very light cinnamon and woody notes, with a base reminiscent of aged wine, almost like a whiskey where vanilla and woods stand out, very sweet. Box: opens like a chest, simple but well done, 8.8. Bottle: clone of the original, simple, no good design, 8.0. Atomiser: normal, doesn’t spread much or little, 8.0. Longevity: around 8 hours, 9.0. Projection: the first 3 hours are incredible, 9.2. Sillage: leaves that warm vanilla scent, 9.0. Price: $25, excellent for what it offers, 9.5. Compliments: good, although many say it’s extremely sweet and invasive, 8.5. Rating: 8.7. Conclusion: ideal for nights, cold weather, elegant dress, looks incredible with those brandied and creamy vanilla woods. Similar to Khamrah, but Kismet feels more woody with that cognac-like drink note. If you like sweets, it’s for you; if not, it’s not for you.

Many will tell you that if you have Khamrah, this is an unnecessary purchase, that it is just another one of the crowd, and that it is too cloying. This perfume has a quality and a scent that do not justify its ridiculously absurd price. I must highlight that, after letting it rest for a few months without using it, I took it out today and applied it to my hand; I must say that while it smelled spectacular right out of the box and made you fall in love without hesitation due to its price and quality, now it is impressive how much it has evolved. It smells much better, it is too rich. Ideal for conquering and intimate encounters, romantic dates, and those days when you want to stand out by projecting beastliness; this never fails because it is a magnet for compliments.

Kismet Magic is warm, sweet and enveloping, clearly oriental and gourmand. From the first spray, it smells well-balanced, sweet and spiced, attractive and easy to wear without being cloying. It evolves into something creamy and ambered, with a soft and sensual base. It’s well-constructed, elegant and designed to be enjoyed close to the skin, not for projection. Clear identity in sweet oriental. Moderate performance: around 3-4 hours. Sillage is acceptable, perceptible at first but not as intense as Kismet Angel. Its great success is the price: affordable, around £35, easy to find. Ideal for those seeking something sweet and oriental, well-presented and accessible, prioritising scent and value over extreme potency.

Another purchase inspired by Angel’s Share (which is very expensive). Like most Maison Alhambra fragrances, it has a characteristic scent I simply can’t stand… mixed with cinnamon, vanilla and chocolate (the dominant notes I’ve always loved) it becomes unbearable. I detect no cognac, neither in the opening nor the base. Longevity: trail and lasting power of over 10 hours on skin and clothes. I wouldn’t recommend it for daily wear; it’s for evening occasions and winter. For those seeking a sweet, pastry-like scent, you will love it; highly recommended. The price is the best, super cheap. *I hope Angel’s Share doesn’t smell like this fragrance, as many say it is the best dupe.

Many will tell you that if you have Khamrah, this is unnecessary, just more of the same and cloying. But it has a quality and scent that don’t justify its absurd price. I let it rest for months without using it and took it out today: at first, when newly bought, it smells spectacular and falls in love with you; you don’t hesitate to buy it for the price and quality. Now, after evolving, it smells impressive, too rich. Ideal for conquering, intimate dates, and those days when you want to stand out by projecting bestiality. It never fails; it’s a magnet for compliments.

I cannot recommend it. I feel this perfume is for someone over 30 and in VERY special situations, and I am not talking about dates, but very specific occasions such as work or family dinners. For dates, I do not see it; it is very sweet, but the cognac note is also quite prominent. It is VERY heavy and VERY cloying, far from ‘citrusy’ or ‘soft’; the first sniff gives you a kick. It lasts a long time, but again, it is for VERY specific situations where I don’t think I would spend half the bottle if I thought about what occasions it might suit.

Given the price, it is a perfect gift. If you like the scent of Angel’s Share (and know what it is), buy this. You won’t be disappointed. And if you are convinced, it is worth buying another bottle just in case of future reformulations or discontinuations. Now, if you don’t mind it being a dupe of another fragrance (because low-cost Arab perfumery aims that way with its marketing) and you are simply looking for a sweet, boozy scent that lasts well, then you are still looking at a great option.

For the price, it’s a bargain. If you enjoy the scent of Angel’s Share and are familiar with it, buy it without hesitation; you won’t be disappointed. If it wins you over, it’s worth stocking up on another bottle just in case they reformulate or discontinue it. Of course, if you don’t mind it being a clone (cheap Arab marketing aims right there) and you’re simply after a sweet, liqueur-like fragrance that offers good value, then it’s also an excellent choice.

I was gifted a 10ml decant. On the first spray, it smells of alcohol or cognac, but then it becomes a sweet and potent scent that reminded me of Hercules from the same house; they are similar, but this one is sweeter. Once dried, it doesn’t smell as nice. In my case, it seems redundant, although being unisex for women, I’d stick with Hercules. Good perfume and price, but it doesn’t smell novel and I don’t like sweet scents. Not ideal for summer.

I wouldn’t recommend it. It feels suited to someone over 30 for very special occasions, not for dates. It’s more for occasional work or family dinners. For dates, it’s not right; it’s very sweet and the cognac note is quite prominent. It’s extremely heavy and cloying, far from ‘citrusy’ or ‘soft’ – the opening hits you hard. It lasts a long time, but again, it’s for occasional events where I doubt I’d even use half the bottle.

A real gem from Maison Alhambra! The opening has a cinnamon note that evokes khamrah but lasts only a moment before shifting to a liquorish, vanilla scent, like a chocolate liqueur. For the first hour and a half, it projects well to about two metres, then fades gradually rather than abruptly, settling into a moderate sillage by 2:30. On the skin, it holds firm for 7-8 hours. Excellent value for money.

I loved it! I was worried because this is my fourth Arabic perfume and the previous ones disappointed me, but I loved it from the moment I smelled it. At first, cognac and cinnamon stand out, then it becomes more woody. I feel it’s super unisex; I let friends smell it and they liked it on both men and women. Perhaps it will be the fragrance I use most this autumn and winter. My rating: 9.5.

I got it for $18. Yes, $18! There’s no competition at that price. I’d pay much more for this scent and quality. Try it on cold days; it’s not for summer. The best thing is to let it oxidise a little; after three days in the room it still smells, and the dry down is my favourite more than the opening. A beauty. I’ve already received three compliments on how rich the perfume is.

Bestial. Extremely cheap and rich. It’s like a cousin of Khamrah, but less brash and aggressive. Just the right amount of sweetness, spiced and woody (freshly opened). I’ve tried it in summer and it holds up well; leaves a kilometre-long trail. Approved by everyone in the office. It will be my daily winter scent. For twenty dollars, instant purchase.

At first, it was incredible: sweet, brandied and spiced. After maceration, everything changed. It’s still good, but the sweetness has dropped and it barely smells of vanilla now. Cinnamon dominates, and sometimes it’s a bit much. Longevity and projection are top. It’s not bad for winter; it’s a cinnamon bomb you shouldn’t use in the heat.
Potricio
One of the best value-for-money perfumes I know. Enormous longevity and very good projection. It reminds me of honey and vanilla-infused whisky. Sweet and unisex, though leaning towards masculine. Ideal for cold weather. I wore it at 8:30 am yesterday and it was still there at 24 hours. Given the price, I’d buy it again and again.

Incredible perfume. When I’m not wearing it, I have to at least smell the cap or give myself a spritz on the wrist. The opening is brutally boozy, then it settles into spices. What doesn’t resemble Angel’s Share? Is it low quality? I don’t care in the slightest!! It is a fragrance I simply adore, and that is all that matters.

According to what I read, they had to rename ‘Angel’ to ‘Magic’ to avoid legal trouble with Kilian, but it seems they overstepped and included nearly identical notes. I absolutely adore Angels Share and Kismet Angel, so I’m sure I’ll love this one too. And if it’s just like Kilian’s, my wallet will be over the moon! 🤣❤️

Very alcoholic opening; at first, it clashes, but you get used to it, like when you drink your first spirit. The initial dislike passes and then you get hooked. The sweetness is pleasant and warm. I didn’t feel it as potent at first; I’m sure it will oxidise and improve, just like what happened with JPG Le Male Elixir.

Wonderful perfume. When I’m not wearing it, I can’t resist sniffing the cap or giving myself a spray on my wrist. The opening is a brutal boozy blast before settling into spices. Is it not like Angel’s Share? Is the quality low? I don’t care! It’s a perfume I absolutely adore, and that is all that matters.

Bought it a week ago after reading reviews and watching videos; for the price, it’s literally a bargain at $14. The scent is straightforward: alcohol with a touch of honey. It’s sweet, but not as much as Kamra. Longevity is acceptable, lasting between 4 and 7 hours. Rating 8/10.

I own several Maison Alhambra scents and they are usually good. The note quality is decent and it doesn’t smell synthetic (the most important thing to me). The only drawback: they don’t last as long as gourmands, more like a citrus. Still, enjoyable for the price.
Joakinho
It is delicious and has quickly become one of my favourites (not that I’ve smelled many perfumes, xD). I expected poor performance, but the truth is it is superb, lasting 8 or 9 hours on the skin and still smelling quite strong on clothes even days later.
ALEJANDRA Orz
What on earth! It smells 99% like Angel’s Share. I think of all my expensive perfume dupes, this is the one that comes closest. Very sweet and boozy… watch out with the sprays! It can give a headache. Definitely for cold weather; it’s delicious.

A beautiful, aromatic, and sensual fragrance, definitely unisex. My question is: if they changed the name of Angel to Magic, are the notes different or is this version reformulated? I would appreciate an explanation on the matter.
Alex_Rosales
I bought it yesterday at a large store in my country (Venezuela) at a good price. Its scent fascinated and delighted me, leaving a mark on my mind. I don’t know how Angel Share smells, but this Kismet Magic is pure magic.

Incredible! For $21, it’s madness how good it smells. Reminds me of YSL Black Opium Over Red. I tried it once and would buy it again without hesitation. If you like sweet perfumes, this is for you.
Pakyo
The opening is an alcoholic bomb, surely due to the cognac, followed by the cloying side of cinnamon and vanilla, and finally a soft touch of woods. Excellent for drawing attention and very edible.
