Descripción
La Nuit Trésor à la Folie by Lancôme is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Launched in 2018, this composition was created by Christophe Raynaud, Amandine Clerc-Marie and Honorine Blanc. Its top notes of red currant, pink pepper, pear and bergamot deliver a vibrant, fruity opening. The heart reveals a delicate floral bouquet with Damask rose, violet, peony and jasmine. Finally, the base settles into a warm, enveloping blend of bourbon vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, nutmeg, ambroxan, patchouli and woody notes.

Without a doubt, the sexiest perfume of all and the one that receives the most compliments. The original Tresor feels heavy to me, but this is super easy to wear and I love it.
I’ve had it for a couple of years. A classic that smells wonderful, feminine and sweet but without being excessive. It has good longevity.
I bought it blind as a collector and it arrived today: it’s identical to LolitaLand by Lolita Lempicka, but much more intense, longer-lasting, and half the price. 💜
I disagree with @claudiosa; in my opinion, it bears no resemblance to LolitaLand. That one is a sweet juice, almost cloying and synthetic, whereas this is a finer, more refined vanilla sweetness.
I was looking for a main vanilla that wasn’t floral, citrusy, or too sweet and youthful. After researching here, I was convinced and fell in love. The vanilla is the star, accompanied by a sweet rose aroma throughout the wear. I didn’t think I’d like it so much; the rose adds maturity but complements it perfectly. It’s sweet, warm, and sensual, ideal for the evening or cold weather, yet versatile for any occasion.
I don’t know the Tresor line or the original, but they talked a lot about this vanilla, so I bought it blind. The opening is acidic with currant, bergamot, and pepper. Then comes the queen, the vanilla, which welcomes the pink-violet-jasmine flowers with a soft talc accord. The violet intensifies and reminds me of the heart of La Petite Robe Noir; if you like that, you’ll like this, although it’s sweeter without licorice or cherry. It settles on vanilla, nutmeg, and patchouli. Projection and longevity are moderate; after six hours, it sits close to the skin, but I love its development.
The sensuality of passion; the name à la Folie fits perfectly. At first, I hesitated due to the synthetic vanilla that used to make me dizzy, but in the shop, I couldn’t stand the headiness because it smelled so delicious. It’s vanilla-based, but the vanilla is a treasure, so well-blended it makes you want to take a bite. The notes give it a sexy, fiery, and fun vibe that’s impossible to resist.
A romantic and seductive perfume with excellent projection. It’s a powerful, boozy, and very sweet vanilla combined with spices. It suits mature women perfectly; it’s a serious aroma, nothing like summer love or casual flings. I have my 30ml version and gifted the 75ml to my grandmother; both adore it <3.
Beautiful perfume, super feminine, it melts hearts. ❤️🥰
I turned thirty today and finally bought this jewel I’ve always been scared to try, even though it had me absolutely dying for it. La Nuit Tresor à la Folie opens with sparkling fruits and a spicy kick: pear, currants, bergamot, and a hint of pepper and nutmeg. In the heart, there are flowers and a candied rose; while I usually don’t take to roses, here with vanilla, benzoin, and tonka bean, it’s a total success, very oriental. Lancôme has always suited my roses; it just works with them. It’s delicate, playful, versatile, and sensual. The only downside is the sillage is non-existent and it lasts about three hours, but I hope it improves with age; it’s good to have intimate perfumes, not everything has to be a beast. The vanilla is superb, as if there’s sugar sprinkled on top. If you like sweet, vanilla scents, give it a try.
It’s the most perfect vanilla I know; it doesn’t smell like that typical sharp vanilla, it’s elegant, spiced and sensual. Perfect for passionate nights, haha.
Too sweet for me, it blew my mind. To my misfortune, the longevity is EXTREME… I couldn’t rub my arm to remove the scent.
I bought it blindly because I wanted something from the Lancôme line but the classic ‘La Vie Est Belle’ didn’t convince me. I grabbed it on offer, it arrived and I tested it. It smells delicious; I’d read it was for more mature women, but at 25 it suits me. It’s very sweet and the vanilla lingers on the skin. What hurt was that I didn’t feel good longevity; shortly after I went to try perfumes from the same brand and they sprayed me with ‘La Vie Est Belle’ and it lasted two days impregnated on my wrist despite me having showered, the exact opposite of LNT a la Follie. Delicious scent and very addictive, but sadly on my skin it had no longevity 🙁
Very long-lasting with good sillage, slightly sweet, for women looking for something elegant without being overwhelming, highly recommended for 30+, a real triumph from Lancôme.
Well, I’ll start by saying it didn’t convince me at first. It seemed sweet and dark, nothing original. It’s also true that I tested it on blotter paper, not on skin. As they say, friends, things change. Recently I went to a perfumerie, saw it and thought: I’ll test it again on skin, because perfumes deserve a second chance, and this was the moment. In the opening I noticed light citrus notes that evolved into an elegant sweetness with floral nuances. What I liked most was its vanilla: not overwhelming, but addictive and enveloping. The dry down was the best, a clearly feminine scent that conquered me. It’s one of those perfumes you must own, because you’ll always have unforgettable moments when it will be perfect. It lasts 8-10 hours on skin and on clothes until you wash them. Moderate sillage that’s noticeable with every movement. It’s a great perfume for cold days, evenings and romantic occasions, to seduce. Compared to the original La Nuit Trésor, I prefer this flanker by far: sexier and less cloying. I want this perfume, I need it. I would buy it, yes. Surely they’ll discontinue it soon, because designer perfumeries do incomprehensible things.
For me it will remain my favourite from the Tresor line.
The opening is delicious, but then it becomes intense. In my opinion, unjustly discontinued.
This ranks in my top 5-10 designer perfumes. So much so that I’ve owned several bottles and, seeing it’s getting harder to find, I’ve picked up two more. To be blunt: it’s the best flanker of La Nuit Trésor, by far. It has a sparkling, vibrant and fruity opening with pink pepper and nutmeg, quickly giving way to a floral heart with that classic Lancôme rose, very well made, which lasts throughout the evolution. In the dry down, bourbon vanilla (with its boozy note), tonka bean and benzoin dominate… making it sweet, warm, balsamic and slightly smoky. Absolutely delicious. I swear it’s addictive and you can’t stop smelling yourself. Feminine, seductive, for a mature but playful woman. It’s my partner’s (male) favourite from my entire collection. Moderate projection for the first 2-3 hours then an intimate sillage. Lasts about 6 hours on skin and over 10 on clothes. Another discontinued gem. BUY BEFORE IT DISAPPEARS.
Super sophisticated scent: starts with red berries, I think gooseberries and raspberries (though they’re not listed). Then the rose and violet bloom, becoming powdery and sweet with vanilla and tonka bean. In the end, on my skin, it’s like a vanilla custard dessert with a hint of nut. I tried it in over 30-degree heat and it didn’t last long, but I’ll wait for cooler weather to see its true life. I loved it a lot. P.S. I tried it again and absolutely adored it! I grabbed it because there was only one left and I searched everywhere; surely they’ll discontinue it soon here.
I bought it years ago and didn’t like it: it smelled of sharp raspberries (even though it doesn’t have them, that’s how I perceived it then). The other day I was about to throw it away and… what a relief I stopped! It’s gorgeous, feminine and unique. It opens with bergamot, gooseberry and the kick of pepper. Then it settles into a floral heart of roses and violets, vanilla-infused, velvety with a spicy touch, probably nutmeg. It lasts about 8 hours and the sillage is moderate.
I love it, I love it, I loooooove it. It’s feminine, sweet, warm, and enveloping. It has spectacular fixation, longevity, and trail. On my skin, vanilla and amber predominate, with a smoky touch and a hint of spicy pink pepper and nutmeg. It was love at first sniff. I recommend it if you like perfumes like Hypnotic Poison EDP by CD, although this one has more punch and projection. The price is excellent here.
I wish it projected and lasted longer. It stays very intimate.
It came with me today; it has that childhood ice-cream parlour vibe, ideal for this winter. It brings back memories of La Petite Robe Noire Black. We’ll see how long this unrequited love for a discontinued scent lasts, because I really love it. Good trail and longevity; it’s not a beast but it’s noticeable. EDITED: After winter tests, the scent is delicious although it’s not quite my style. It lasts over 12 hours on skin and is noticeable on a suede jacket after a week. The trail is flattering; two people told me I smelled great at a night out, one said I seemed to have applied too much perfume. If it were less gourmand, it would be ideal for me; I’ll swap it or sell it.
I’d sum it up in one word: Perfect. It’s addictive. The vanilla is achieved wonderfully, not cloying like pastries. It’s elegant and has great personality. Longevity, projection, and trail are all very good.
Very sexy, sweet, and woody. It lasts all day, but projects only for the first few hours before settling close to the skin. On clothes, it’s noticeable if you get close. It’s more for personal enjoyment; it’s only perceived with a hug.
I bought it by mistake while looking for the classic La Nuit Trésor, but I absolutely loved this A la Folie flanker. It feels very cosy, ideal for those who love sweet, vanilla, and warm scents. It seems romantic, elegant, and very wearable. Perfect for dates, night outs, or formal gatherings. Longevity is very good and the trail is moderate.
My Lancôme rose; I love it. It’s long-lasting and feminine. I never understand why people say roses are for older women; it’s disrespectful and lacks personality. At 38, I prefer the fresh scent of rose to smelling like Nutella for the rest of my life. A little personality, please.
I adore this perfume. I own La Nuit Trésor EDP and like it, but this flanker is sweeter and more feminine, so I prefer it. On me, it has good longevity and projection; it’s one of my favourites that I’ll be repurchasing. I wear it all year round, but it’s ideal for going out at night, romantic dates, or autumn/winter.
At first, it smells like makeup powder with a hint of lipstick, perhaps due to the violet. It’s very faint on my skin, so I’ll let it settle. EDITED 05/09/24: I forgot to mention, it smells like powdery iris mixed with cherry, elegant and youthful. No great projection or longevity, lasting barely seven hours. I still prefer the original LNT.
Sweet but lacks personality, except for that almond note. The trail and longevity are low; there are better Trésor flankers available.
It is a very sweet fragrance, with a very marked but particular vanilla that distinguishes it from the multitude of vanilla perfumes on the market: it is subtle, elegant and sensual. You can also smell a lot of pear in its first phase, which makes it fruity, fresh and sensual as the rose emerges; by the time it reaches its heart, it becomes a bit darker and more intense, extremely feminine, finishing with woody, sexy and persistent notes. Overall, I liked it very much; I have been wearing it for just a few days and I loved it. I am very fond of sweet perfumes and this one is very feminine and charming. It has lovely notes, although at the end I always feel a synthetic scent, I believe it must be the ambroxan which takes on another intensity on my pH. But it is a lovely perfume; it is much sweeter and fruitier than La Nuit Tresor.
Confited roses with vanilla from Lancôme. A wonderful fragrance, although its weak projection and trail do not give me the confidence to go out until evening. The best-worked rose is undoubtedly Lancôme’s; add to that a peppery opening with this rose and vanilla compote, and it is fascinating. For me, it has been the best flanker of the LNT; its sister, Intense, is pure cherry pyrotechnics, nothing to do with it, although it has greater trail and projection. Such a beautiful and sensual scent… and that it does not last more than five hours saddens me, as it is a proper fragrance. I have had it in my wardrobe since 2020, but I do not wear it much as it does not give me olfactory security, although if I know I will be near home, having lunch in the neighbourhood, or tapas for dinner… then I truly fly with my love for it. But that near home, in case I need to reapply and enjoy my love-impotence relationship with it. Will I buy it again? I do not think so; I have seen that they ask a fortune on Vinted and Wallapop. Let me tell you that 70% is Poison Girl EDP, so do not fall for paying €150 for 74ml… it is not worth it. I paid €65 for the same size, a very reasonable price. As for the season… whenever you want… it will not overwhelm you in summer… after two hours it is well and truly reduced.
It is very similar to the original; you can really taste the red currants and tonka bean. You must like these notes as they are the most prominent. It is a sweet, dark, sexy, elegant and well-groomed woman’s perfume. Perfect for rainy or very cold days. It has that nutmeg touch which gives a slight kick alongside the pepper, but nothing invasive. In the end, it leaves a sweetened patchouli… If you like patchouli, you might like this fragrance, as that is what remains after four hours.
I bought it last year when there were rumours of its discontinuation. I had tried it before and fell in love at first sight: that vanilla in the opening is very sweet yet elegant, which made me buy it on the spot. Its trail doesn’t last long, but the scent lingers on the skin and clothes. Once dry, I detect a lot of nutmeg (which I don’t entirely enjoy). It stays very intimate, perfect for enclosed spaces.
I own the EDP, Nude, Le Parfum and Fleur de Nuit, as well as this one, and for me it remains the richest scent: absolutely mad about it. The name is perfectly chosen; you can taste the sweet, enveloping red fruits, the brand’s signature rose—youthful, fresh and juicy—plus a hint of violet and a mind-blowing vanilla with a touch of nutmeg. This fragrance makes you lose your head; it is truly madness.
I can’t believe this work of art is discontinued… I bought it last year and it still hurts to watch the bottle dry out. It’s so well-constructed, long-lasting and charming that it shouldn’t have left the shelves. I hope Lancôme considers bringing it back; for me, it surpasses all the flankers, being both seductive and mysterious.
The best perfume in the universe. Since I know it’s discontinued, I haven’t worn it again; I don’t want to lose the chance of smelling it. I hope it’s just temporary and it returns; what a tragedy. I’m currently searching for something that will make me fall in love with it all over again.
A stunning flanker I could not ask for more of; please keep it in production. To me, it smells like freshly baked chocolate cake, even though it doesn’t list cocoa; it’s probably the tonka bean and red berries confusing my nose. Very gourmand, vanilla-sweet and woody in the base, with a dark, seductive touch perfect for dates and evenings. The fresher the weather, the better it shines. Longevity is 8 to 10 hours and the projection is beastly; people noticed the chocolate scent from over three metres away. It was a crime to discontinue it. If you can get your hands on it, don’t hesitate to buy it. There’s no waste here. I’d give anything to have a spare bottle.
it is a delightful exclusive for cold climates and winter seasons.
The credibility of this website slips when they recommend an identical clone of Lolitaland at half the price; it smells like when we used to play dress-up as teachers when we were little girls. Unjustly overlooked
