  • When honey notes are well-crafted, I absolutely love them. All the notes are easy to appreciate and perfectly balanced. There’s no sandalwood, vetiver, patchouli, or citrus. It’s a bold floral centred on its flowers. Reminds me of Chanel No. 22 but without so many aldehydes. Beige is powdery and sweet. Very elegant with excellent longevity on the skin.

Updated review on the difference between EDT and EDP. The scent is almost identical: a waxy paste of frangipani in honey. Surprisingly, the EDT is richer, with more body and depth. The EDP is good, but the EDT is better. It has more power and a deeper base, almost like a vintage extract. The ritual of the old miniatures was precious, an art reserved for special occasions. Today the EDP has more brightness, but the original was more rounded. The honey feels more waxy, the frangipani denser. It has a vintage, powdery air. PS: Chanel usually prefers their EDT; here longevity is similar, but the difference lies in the character and packaging. The EDT is superior.

Simple, feminine, clean, long-lasting, a delicate and very soft floral. It’s perfect for when you want to feel neutral and comfortable in your own skin. It won’t draw attention; the trail is subtle but it lingers all day. It’s one of those scents you can easily make your own signature. Highly recommended.

  • Cosmoloid

Perhaps it’s not the best name; it doesn’t smell of leather or vanilla, but of a crystal-clear, clean bouquet of flowers. It’s the first floral that isn’t intrusive or heavy. The flowers play off each other, the white hawthorn adds freshness and a spicy touch. The honey enriches without being cloying. The star is the frangipani, delicious and tropical yet discreet; it remains Chanel. Natural, quality, and little chemistry. There’s no originality, but it’s very pleasant, lasting hours close to the skin like a floral soap. No chemical residue. Testing the EDT, it lasts acceptably, not disappearing like a cologne. Easy daytime use. The best thing is the quality; the downside is the price.

Perhaps ‘Beige’ isn’t the best name, nor does it smell of leather, vanilla or anything of that colour. Chanel presents a crystal-clear, clean and elegant floral bouquet. It’s the first floral that isn’t intrusive or heavy. At the start all the flowers play off each other; the white hawthorn adds freshness and a spicy note. The honey isn’t cloying, it just enriches the bouquet. The star is the frangipani, delicious with a subtle tropical touch that remains unmistakably Chanel. Everything feels natural with little chemistry. There’s no originality, but it’s very pleasant, lasts acceptably and leaves a floral soap scent close to the skin without chemical residue. I’m testing the EDT and it really lasts; it’s discreet but not weak. It’s a daytime, everyday scent. The best thing is the quality, the downside is the high price.

  • Updated review on the difference between EDT and EDP. The scent is almost identical: a waxy paste of frangipani in honey. Surprisingly, the EDT is richer, with more body and depth. The EDP is good, but the EDT is better. It has more force and depth, almost like a vintage extract. The ritual of the old miniflask was precious, an art reserved for special occasions. Today the EDP has more light, but the original was more resounding. The honey feels more waxy, the frangipani denser. It has an airy, vintage feel. PS: Chanel usually prefers their EDT; here longevity is similar, but the difference lies in the scent profile and packaging. The EDT is the winner.

  • Immaculate and elevated elegance, a neutral beige with golden honey sparkles. At first, it’s incisive, then it leaves a powdery, floral, and sweet aura. They remind me of illustrations of Gabrielle and her world. The price is high, a potent filter for choosing just one. For now, I’m sticking with BOY, although Beige looks lovely. Perfect honey and flowers.

  • It exudes that impeccable, understated elegance of Chanel’s signature flat, neutral beige tone. It’s a beige with tiny golden flecks that smell of honey. At first it’s sharp, but it settles into a rich, powdery, floral and sweet aura. From Les Exclusifs, they feel like aromatic illustrations of Gabrielle’s elements and her world. I love the concept, though the price is a powerful filter for choosing just one. For now I’m sticking with BOY, although Beige is a huge favourite too. Perfect honey and flowers.

  • A masterpiece of elegance and French chic, created by Jacques Polge. The honey is subtle, less cloying than ever, a protagonist yet blended to perfection. It’s worth every euro; it rarely disappoints. Longevity and sillage are perfect; you can smell it without being overwhelmed, nothing vulgar. A well-deserved ten.

  • Beautiful and feminine, it evokes tropical holidays with that wet sweetness of blooming plumeria. The honey holds the flowers perfectly, making it ideal for daytime wear. Projection is notable; it stays strong on my skin for 12 hours. I highly recommend it to feel a little summer, any time of year. Pleasant: 7/10 Interesting: 5/10 Versatile: 7/10 Original: 6/10
