Czech & Speake has unveiled Mayfair Oud, a new fragrance for men and women, launching in 2026. Created by perfumer Christian Provenzano, it belongs to the woody oriental family.
The scent takes its name from the heart of London, and it carries that same sense of understated elegance. Rather than a dense, smoky oud, this is a brighter, more aromatic interpretation.
At the top, bergamot, orange, lime, cardamom and fir create a crisp, lively opening. There is a touch of resinous pine freshness, but it never feels too sharp or overpowering.
The heart is built around lavender, rosemary, sage and jasmine. The herbaceous notes give Mayfair Oud a clean, tailored edge, while jasmine adds a soft white-floral warmth.
In the base, sandalwood, vetiver, amber, moss and oud wood form a smooth, grounded finish. The oud is blended with care, adding depth without dominating the composition.
