  I always thought Michael Jordan fragrances deserved more attention than just being ‘celebrity’ scents, so I was thrilled to see the whole range in a perfumerie in Barcelona. I was smitten by the refined sweetness of Legend, but in the end, I went for this one as I’d wanted it for ages. Here we have the quintessential fougère coupé, perfectly formulated. It’s a sports cologne with an invigorating complexity built on three parameters: green and dry notes, a certain spicy edge, and a woody base. Naturally, it will appeal to those who follow other scents in this style like Cacharel pour Homme, Massimo Dutti, Rasgo, and so on. After all, its nose also created another pinnacle of the genre, Calvin Klein Escape. As we were saying, Michael Jordan comes across as fresh, agile, masculine and comforting. Notes of cypress and juniper, interwoven with sandalwood and spiced up, are enough to create what I consider a unique aroma, with no aquatic or artificial notes whatsoever. Its concentration is eau de cologne, the projection tends to be discreet, but it doesn’t do too badly in terms of longevity. Casual and relaxed, it suits both sportswear and jeans with a T-shirt for a stroll after a good shower. The price is a laugh. Highly recommended.

  I’d recommend it if you fancy the combo of dried leaves, lavender and tea. Ideal for the gym and smelling great at the same time. I wear it in the evenings during summer; it lasts about four hours. The heart is spicy and the trail fades a bit, but it smells very nice and casual. I bought it blind and have no regrets; the only downside is it’s getting hard to find. Rating: 8/10.

  I’d recommend it wholeheartedly if you like dried leaves, lavender and tea. It’s perfect for sport and smelling great at the same time. I wear it on summer evenings and it lasts about four hours on my skin. It smells spicy from the heart and the trail fades a bit, but the scent is very distinctive and casual. I bought it blind and have no regrets; the only drawback is it’s becoming hard to find. Rating: 8/10.

  I picked it up on discount, but to be honest, it has let me down 100%. I wouldn’t buy it again as it doesn’t last on the skin at all and the scent just isn’t for me.
