  • I have decants of both versions, 2012 and 2017, and they bear no resemblance to each other. I understand the hatred for the 2017 version because it replaces a good perfume. If it had been released as a flanker or with a different name, perhaps the reception would have been better. It’s not a bad perfume; it’s simple and nothing innovative, but it has a good trail and longevity. It doesn’t smell like LVEB, it’s not a sweet bomb; powdery roses are noticeable. Perfect for daytime, not intrusive. Fortunately, I found a bottle of 2012, so I’m sticking with that.

I recall the reviews for Miss Dior 2012, but this 2017 version has nothing of its origin. Perhaps it’s Dior’s strategy for a young audience during the era of sweet and gourmand fragrances. It’s not bad, but it’s judged by what came before. It smells of pink pepper and rose until the end with patchouli. It reminds me of Nina Lextase. I like its trail and longevity.

  • perfumera

It doesn’t smell like Dior. If I didn’t see the bottle, I’d think it was a celebrity perfume.

  • My first Dior and I thought it would be for an older lady, but I’ve loved it immensely. It smells of woody, powdery rose; it’s youthful and very different from the others. I remember a friend had an old one that I didn’t like at all. I recommend it; the packaging is gorgeous.

  • colorinfinito

I love it; it smells of powdery rose and citrus/fruit at first. It’s not cloying or childish; it suits any age. The longevity and trail are top-notch; I use it for special occasions.

  • On my skin, it fades too quickly, leaving only the scent of powdery roses clinging to the skin.

  • BlackRose

The first time I tested it on my wrist, distracted and used to sweet and gourmand perfumes, I sensed floral notes and didn’t like it, so I ignored it. I gave it another chance another day, in a different mood, and this time I applied it to my neck. By heavens, I was fascinated! Here, the sweet notes stand out more than the floral ones, presumably due to my skin’s pH, which isn’t the same on the neck as on the wrist. It’s soft, warm, very sweet, and floral, slightly powdery, with good longevity and a moderate trail. It smells like sweet orange custard on me. It’s a super elegant, feminine and formal perfume.

This perfume is a joke. I ran out of my 2012 Miss Dior and bought this one upon seeing the box. I was intrigued that it was different, opened the box, and the liquid wasn’t the same. I put it on and thought I’d been scammed, until I realised it had been reformulated. What a pity; it was one of my favourites, the 2012 version.

  • SunnyValentine

I’m sorry, but I love it. I’m new to fragrances and tested Miss Dior on my wrist a week ago. My husband and I were both impressed; he was obsessed and I could smell it all day. It’s striking, sweet and citrusy like a tangerine, with a delicious base that captivates me. It pursued me all week until yesterday when he bought it for me. The bottle is gorgeous. I previously tried Blooming Bouquet, but nothing compares to regular Miss Dior: it smells luxurious and sweet on my skin with a wonderful trail. I wore it just once and my clothes smelled for hours. My current favourites are Good Girl Legere and LVEB L’eclat.

  • Laperfumista

I tested it on my wrist twice and it vanished within two hours. I don’t own the original or the 2012 version, only the 2017. It disappears like a ghost: citrus notes at first, followed by dusty rose, like baby powder or a brand-new doll. It smells nice but very childish, suitable for teenagers. I expected more; it lacks presence and character. For the price, I would look for something with more punch.

  • They gave this to me thinking it was the toilette; they look similar but they have differences. At the beginning it is more citrusy, lasts half an hour, then it becomes floral and talcum-like, approaching the other. It is a beautiful, feminine and romantic perfume: a modern rose that lasts about 5 hours. I haven’t smelled the original, but seeing that this has only a third of the essence, it shouldn’t resemble it at all. I believe perfume houses should stop clinging to mythical names to reformulate; in my opinion, they could create a niche line with versions almost identical to the classic (since some ingredients cannot be used) and another line with a different name for the new ones.

  • jazminesyrosas

I love it so much! It lasts a very long time on my skin. It is divine for night and day; everyone asks me what I’m wearing because it reminds them of flower fields. It has a delicious mix of citrus, roses and patchouli. I also love the EDT, I use it during the day or in the heat.

  • Delicious and a total surprise! It is sensual, elegant, sparkling with a very well-executed fresh touch. My husband gave it to me by mistake, thinking it was the classic I used years ago. They are very different! The current one is much more sensual, festive and youthful. I see it as perfect for a woman who loves to feel beautiful, enjoys life day and night, without rigidity. Without diminishing the classic, this has truly conquered me.

  • I have just received a sample and I have the Absolutely Blooming, which I love. Without being an expert with a ‘trained nose’, I believe a perfume should evoke emotions like any art. And that is what it did: I fell in love at first sniff. Romantic love cannot be explained, nor the love we feel for certain scents, it is simply instant magic.

  • In 2016, Dior changed the script: for the first time, a woman in charge. Maria Grazia broke conventions, defining a monochromatic and pretty-punk era. Her message is clear: the woman is the subject, not the object. From feminist t-shirts to golden warrior deities, fashion has been her tool. But, does the current Miss Dior fit that mission? Nothing to do with it. Instead of a hymn to real love, the ad shows a toxic relationship with arguments and shoves, asking ‘what would you do for love?’ and leaving a bitter taste.

  • Well, something curious happens to me with this perfume. Since I put it on, I don’t notice the citrus, the rose or the patchouli; what I notice is a wonderful vanilla, and I have read the notes several times and there is no mention of vanilla. How strange!! I love it, it seems delicious, elegant, classy… I still don’t know the longevity, I hope it is very long. I have read many reviews saying the reformulation is dreadful, well, I almost prefer not to compare it with a previous one and be able to marvel at this without prejudice. I will enjoy the vanilla of a perfume without vanilla.

  • On my skin, this perfume lasts a maximum of two hours. It smells too much like Black Opium; it’s an interesting scent, but it doesn’t last at all. I prefer the 2012 version a thousand times over.

  • Meleagrina80

I have tried both versions of Miss Dior, the 2012 and this 2017 one. Without a doubt, this one is rich, elegant and refined. Moreover, the 2017 version is much more intense and long-lasting than the 2012, a fact that makes me regret no longer having the previous one. Unlike those who speak with contempt, I believe they are not comparable because they are different things. The 2017 version is more suited to this era and the majority’s taste. I spent a long time testing it before buying it and I believe it is appreciated much more with time than at launch. One shouldn’t rush to judge a perfume, especially since tastes change like our moods. I encourage you to give it a chance, to enjoy its evolution in different climates and you will see it is not an aberration. Opinions are subjective in the world of fragrances; one must evolve and make room for the new. Nostalgia does not allow us to move forward or discover new sensations. Miss Dior 2017 is personal enjoyment, with its own personality.

  • jazminesyrosas

I absolutely love it! It transports me to a field with citrus and rose notes. I wear it day and night all year round. Unlike others, Absolutely Blooming overwhelms me, but this is delicious and lasts a minimum of 6 hours on the skin. I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s very hot; in that case, I prefer the Miss Dior Toilette from 2019.

  • I’ve been wearing Miss Dior EDT for years and it remains my favourite Dior scent, perhaps only surpassed by the original Poison, but this is far more wearable. Before the last reformulation, I couldn’t get used to it as it reminded me too much of the Coco Mademoiselle I already own, but yesterday I bought the EDP and I’m delighted; it smells the same but with more intensity and leaves an extraordinary trail.

  • Miss Dior 2017 is very sweet and strong for me. A single spray is more than enough. Its trail is truly impressive. However, it is too sweet; it makes me feel dizzy. Personally, I find it similar to Elizabeth Arden’s Pretty Hot.

  • Miss Dior EDP 2017: I have a miniature that completely won me over, and I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s the right balance of fruity citrus and florals with a hint of pink pepper that is noticeable when you first spray it, making the rest pure magic. I regret discovering it late and not having the pre-reformulation version, but I also appreciate that I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to erase it from my mind. I wonder what will happen to my beloved 50ml bottle of Miss Dior Chérie in the future.

  • You must stock up on this little bottle as it will soon be discontinued. I’ve already placed my order because the new version hasn’t pleased me as much yet. I prefer this beauty. I’m getting a bit tired of reformulating, reformulating, changing names. Create new perfumes with new names and packaging. The perfume world is art; let’s not lose our essence or creativity. It’s all flanker after flanker, similar designs, and the same notes.

  • Andrea perfumona

I don’t understand why they are going to reformulate this delight. What is the point of putting an impostor in the same bottle under the same name? Can you imagine museums repainting a work of art every few years just to capitalise on its reputation and appeal to new generations? It sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? Without identity, without a past, without history. What a shame, because perfumes are art, an art that we are forced to stop appreciating.

  • Anabel_Parfums

Be warned, it has been reformulated again, so whatever remains of the 2017 version is what you’ll get. Get it if you don’t already own it, or stock up on replacements before it’s too late. In my opinion, it’s the best of the three.

  • Now that it has been reformulated, I was inspired to buy a 100ml bottle from 2018, and I loved it. It’s sweet without being cloying, with a super feminine dry-down, softly talcum-powdered, and a special elegance. From my perspective, it has something of the Coco Mademoiselle Intense; I own both and adore them. The longevity is moderate, around eight hours, and the projection is high for the first two hours.

  • jazminesyrosas

What a pity. They’ve taken away one of my four favourite perfumes. I have two, and I’m going to look after them very carefully. They are citrus, rose, and patchouli; they are noticeable and enjoyable. The Miss Dior 2021 is very soft, a well-intimate scent. I’m not saying it’s not lovely, but I’m just asking if others enjoy it because I can barely smell it on myself. The truth is, they’re too expensive for such a soft scent. What a shame.

  • lacasitadepan

Miss Dior is undeniably lovely. However, it’s nothing new, nor innovative, nor something that would immediately make me think ‘buy this’. That said, if someone were to gift it to me, I’m certain I’d finish the bottle.

  • My go-to fragrance; I love it and I’m going to miss it once they’ve discontinued it. It’s unique. When you first spray it, it smells strongly of mentholated caramel, but as it dries down, it retains that special sweetness—I adore it. Edit: I’ve finally managed to get another one; it’s impeccable, with great persistence and a delicate, fine, yet magnificent sweetness. It’s a proper perfume, I won’t tire of saying it’s a shame they stopped making it. It’s back in my vanity today, happy.

  • Jessica Campos

I started with the EDT and got hooked, so I grabbed the EDP too, and it’s been brilliant. I don’t have a favourite; both of them have won me over. However, the EDT is ideal for stifling heat, while I save the EDP for evenings or autumn. Great sillage and good longevity. It doesn’t captivate at first sniff, but there’s something about it that holds you.

  • mpastrana

I love this scent; it’s not too heavy but lasts all day. It’s slightly sweet and warm, but not excessively so. It’s very feminine. In fact, I bought it blind because news broke that it was being discontinued, and I didn’t want to miss out on owning it. I’m very glad I did.

  • I adore this fragrance. There was a period between 2019 and 2020 when I wore it constantly, and all my friends said that when they smelled it, it reminded them of me. What a pity they’ve discontinued it; luckily, I still have a little left, but I’ll take it as a sign to try other perfumes <3.

  • DarthVarda

I bought it when the 2021 edition launched because it was being discontinued and I had forgotten it in a cupboard. I opened it recently (I’d already tested it) and thought: ‘What a richer Dior creation?’. There’s something sweet, perhaps the sandalwood; it recalls vanilla slightly but is a sweet rose with a light spicy note and a very mild citrus opening that doesn’t sting. I love it; the longevity is impressive, and on hair, if I don’t wash it, it lasts more than a day.

  • What a delight, elegance, and perfection. It lasts until I wash it off with soap and water, unless it decides to stay with me. In summer, I found it heavy and powdery, but for autumn and winter, it’s like turning into a millionaire with a few sprays—a wonderful orange rose and woody scent. I love that I can still detect it and that it seems to activate at moments throughout the day, even though it’s always there. It could be a signature scent. I still have a full 100 ml bottle.

  • karugervazoni

At first, I didn’t like it because I was hoping for the Miss Dior EDP 2012 edition I wanted to restock. After years, I bought it ‘blind’ because it was being discontinued, and I was surprised. Although it bears no resemblance to the previous version, it’s lovely and feminine. It’s delicate, floral, and sweet without being cloying. On my skin, I detect jasmine, rose, and barely any patchouli. It has moderate, perhaps low, sillage and lasts about six hours on me. I see it as ideal for daytime, yet it’s versatile; it suits all seasons without being overpowering. It works for day and night. People compare it to Absolutely Blooming, but they have nothing in common; the latter is gourmand and powdery. For me, the Miss Dior EDP is far superior. I recommend it for blind buys if you enjoy jasmine or florals.

  • EdgarBarrera95

On the dry-down, it strongly reminds me of Club de Nuit Woman. The patchouli is noticeable but well-blended. At first, it smells like bubblegum, but on my skin it’s very sweet with good longevity.

  • solsegovia

I own it and use it! My boyfriend says it smells super sexy. I’m not entirely convinced by it myself, but people always tell me it smells delicious. It was a gift; I wouldn’t have bought it myself and wouldn’t buy it again, though I admit everyone asks what smells so good.

  • SugarPlumFairy

I love it; it makes me feel amazing. It’s not complex or revolutionary, yet so delicate, feminine, and refined. The dry-down is pure bliss, which is what I enjoy most. It’s love in a bottle.

  • solsegovia

Very long-lasting, very strong, and cloying. You really can’t take it off once you’ve put it on. I shower and still detect it. It’s rich but extremely intrusive.
