It comes out clean and crisp, but after 15 minutes on the skin, the real magic happens. If you’re dying for aquatic aromas, like me, you’ll adore this. But be warned: you must try it and wear it with you before purchasing.
I tested it a few days ago, and to be honest, it’s a very subjective opinion based on a single trial. It really smells like a laundry room, like freshly ironed clothes. I don’t think I’d enjoy smelling like that; it seems more like an ambient scent. It’s a no for me as a personal fragrance. As a scent for bed sheets, it would be great, but it’s far too expensive for that use.
At first, it smells like church incense, but then that note fades and bursts continue to emerge throughout the day.
It smells like Babycat with the leather removed and the vanilla reduced by 85%. Try it with a 5ml sample before buying, because you might fall in love for the wrong reasons. It’s a super amber fragrance made with Coumarin and Vanilla, something FK loves and which I also notice in his other scents like Le Male and Amyris Homme Extrait (very prominent when dry). The aldehydes are brutal at first but fade over time without vanishing completely. It’s super versatile and the trail is rich, especially after 15 minutes. It lasts over 10 hours and anyone who gets close will notice it. The downside is that it falls into the category of perfumes with tons of Coumarin, something very common in designer fragrances.
It unleashes aldehydes at full force, blending seamlessly with incense; it’s an impossible-to-classify fragrance. It gives that sensation of soap and extreme cleanliness that fades gradually but never disappears. It’s not for everyone or every occasion; it’s more for personal enjoyment. I absolutely love it, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly (and let’s face it, the price doesn’t help).
It has an opening with very pronounced aldehydes that blend subtly with the incense. It’s a difficult-to-define fragrance, a sensation of cleanliness and soap (too much) that gradually fades without disappearing. It’s not for everyone or every occasion; it’s more for personal enjoyment. I absolutely love it, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it blindly, not to mention the price.
