Noix de Coco de Malaisie is (was) one of my favourite fragrances; Light, fresh, elegant and casual at the same time, ideal for spring and summer. As of now impossible to find (probably discontinued) so I decided to try this flanker or “new version” listed as Scented Mist, I feel the fragrance is the same and that’s appreciated, fresh, with a coconut scent, light and unpretentious ideal for everyday use for body and hair, only the pretty glass bottle is missed.
It has a “natural” coconut smell or at least it tries, it’s not a sweet coconut, it’s fresh, the problem is that it really feels completely artificial, even like a kind of plastic, the truth is it doesn’t quite convince me because of that. However, in summer, at the beach with warm weather, sand, the smell of salty sea water, it stands out quite a lot when combined with these scents, it seems incredible because only in this way does it become a totally different perfume. Longevity is poor, it has intimate projection, if people come close to you they can perceive it. I don’t know if I recommend it, it’s a complicated fragrance. I will use it only in summer when I go to the beach, and feel it together with the beautiful tropical weather and near the ocean.
Noix de Coco de Malaisie was my favourite scent: light, fresh, elegant and carefree, perfect for spring and summer. Now that it’s no longer available (likely discontinued), I tried this flanker or ‘new version’ listed as Bruma Perfumada. It smells just as much like the original, which is a relief; it’s fresh, coconut-scented, light and unpretentious, ideal for everyday wear, on the body and hair. The only thing missed is the lovely glass bottle.
It smells like ‘natural’ coconut, or that’s what it tries to do, but it’s not sweet, it’s fresh. The problem is that it really does smell very artificial, almost like plastic, and frankly, it doesn’t quite convince me. However, in summer, at the beach with the heat, the sand and the sea salt, it stands out hugely when mixed with those scents; it seems incredible because it becomes a completely different fragrance. The longevity is short and the projection is intimate; if someone gets close, they’ll notice it. I’m not sure if I’d recommend it; it’s a complicated scent. I’ll only wear it in summer when heading to the beach, feeling it alongside the beautiful tropical climate and near the ocean.
