It begins with an 80s lotion-like touch of citrus and leather, before Parure takes you on a journey where fruits, flowers and leather blend perfectly over a base of moss and amber. Over time, the rose and plum take over; the green notes and moss fade but remain present, while the leather, once brash, retreats shyly. It has a dry, talc-like style that reminds me of Chamade, though only in this part since Chamade has other notes. A beautiful creation by Guerlain that, unfortunately, didn’t find much success.
