  I believe it has been discontinued; I have a little bit from about twenty years ago and it smells exactly the same. I wouldn’t classify it as floral; rather, the woody notes predominate. The trail and projection are enormous, so I keep it solely as a memento.

Opening your eyes in the fitting room, you’re faced with a tight black dress, elegant and sexy, showing just enough skin. You head to the vanity, grab Society, and vaporise it passionately over your warm skin. It blends with your scent and soul, creating a seductive, feminine, and sexy aura. It’s exactly what you need today and what he’ll feel when he’s lost in your arms. I loved Society immediately; it goes beyond sophistication, it’s a golden Burberry, perhaps one of the best ever created: long-lasting and evoking laughter and different ways of living. It’s osmanthus with honey, white flowers, and chypre notes, wrapped in something delicate. If cashmere was in perfumes back then, so is it here. First, a fruity and spicy strawberry hit knocks you out, while the currant and ylang-ylang gain strength. Yes, it’s sensual, loaded with red fruits, and sweetly wrapped in beautiful roses. The osmanthus smells like peach, subtle and comfortable, not dominant but present. This fragrance is at once fruity, floral, sweet, and oriental. Over time, a honeyed sweetness emerges, the cherry on top. It has everything a dream fragrance should. I see it on mature, confident women, with a seductive power that gets them what they want. One of the best from Burberry, a luxury to have tried it.
