Descripción
Azzaro Solarissimo Levanzo is an aromatic fougère fragrance for men. Launched in 2016, this composition was created by perfumer Christophe Raynaud. In its opening, the scent unfolds a citrus and fruity effervescence thanks to Italian lemon, passion fruit, and peppermint. The heart reveals a herbal and spicy harmony with tea, basil, lavender, ginger, cardamom, and geranium. The trail settles on a warm and woody base formed by patchouli leaves, cedar, amberwood, and coumarin.

Since this fine fragrance has no reviews yet, here’s my take: it starts with a citrus burst that blends with guava and cedar, accented with lavender, within 20 minutes. This lasts until it fades (around 10 hours on my skin). It reminded me of a scent I used years ago and can’t find anymore here in Argentina: Givenchy Green Energy, what a wonderful fragrance that was! Otherwise, since the nose is Mr Raynaud (he created Dsquared2 Fresh, among others), quality is guaranteed. Fragrance: 9/10. Longevity: 10/10. Sillage: 7/10. Greetings from Argentina!
Correction: I meant Maracuja instead of Guava. The tropical fruits got mixed up in my head…
A brutal fragrance from Azzaro, opening with green lemon that blends beautifully with passion fruit and other well-combined notes. While fresh and herbal, it has excellent longevity and is ideal for daytime wear without being overpowering. It’s elegant, distinguished, and truly special; it suits both formal and sporty attire. What’s fascinating is that under the sun and body heat, it really opens up, leaving an incredible trail, which is somewhat paradoxical given how fresh it smells. It evokes memories of a sunny morning on the Italian coast, with a cedar window open to the sea, light streaming in, and the scents of a local fruit and plant market. Azzaro Solarissimo is unique and exquisite, perfect for any collection, especially for that beautifully finished bottle with its natural wood cap.
For a fresh fragrance, it’s surprisingly long-lasting. The basil, lavender, and passion fruit are very recognisable… 9/10
A great fragrance for a low price, very Italian, summery, totally green. Smells wonderful and yes, it does project.
A great fragrance for a low price, very Italian, summery, and entirely green. Excellent scent and it does project well.
Azzaro Solarissimo Levanzo smells fruity, fresh, and aromatic. The opening is very fresh and fruity, I suppose it’s maracuja, accompanied by a fleeting citrus note and herbal spice touches of basil and mint, very pleasant. It then settles into a woody base that keeps the spices fresh, adding cedar and a touch of tonka bean. It’s a modern take on citrus with fresh spices. Ideal for spring and summer, during the day, due to its freshness, but also easy to wear on any occasion. It lasts well, around 8 hours, though initially it stays close to the skin. An advantage is that it’s available at a good price, so you can reapply without any issues.
Azzaro Solarissimo Levanzo is a fruity, fresh, and aromatic fragrance. Its opening is very fresh and fruity; I suppose the exotic fruit is passion fruit, accompanied by a fleeting citrus note and a spicy herbal accord of basil and mint. This initial phase is quite pleasant. Once it passes, a woody base remains, maintaining the fresh spice notes and adding cedar and a touch of tonka bean. Its aroma is a modern take on citrus fragrances with fresh spices. Its appropriate use seems to be in spring and summer, preferably during the day, due to its fresh notes, but it’s also an easy-to-wear fragrance suitable for any occasion. In terms of performance, it has good longevity, lasting at least eight hours, though it stays close to the skin from the start. An advantage of this fragrance is that it can be found at a very attractive price, so you can reapply without remorse.
A exquisite green. Longevity is adequate, projection is low, but it’s worth over-applying because it truly smells delicious.
A exquisite green scent. Adequate longevity, low projection, but it’s worth over-applying because it’s truly delicious.
An exquisite green fragrance, but unfortunately it lasts very little and projects very little. As an olfactory experience, it’s a delightful pity; it won’t become a second bottle.
A soft and exquisite fragrance; doesn’t project much, but recommended for daily wear in spring and summer.
Mint, cardamom, patchouli – just to name a few of my favourite notes, especially the cardamom and patchouli. Fresh, aromatic, more than a summer scent; it’s a daytime fragrance for all sunny climates throughout the year. Another vibe with a good attitude that lifts your mood. It’s not a lightweight; I’d say it’s fresh yet intense (no sugary or aquatic notes here). It should be noted that it has a short longevity, though it projects for a while; however, given the price and the exquisite nature of the scent, it’s entirely forgivable. Alternatively, you could shower with it and, if still available, grab another bottle without a second thought. Well done, Azzaro. I think we should pay attention to this Solarissimo trilogy, which few discuss (the blue one is by Quentin Bisch). Low-cost and recommended, with a beautiful presentation in a 75 ml bottle.
About six years ago, I worked in a hotel, responsible for cleaning rooms. A guest had left something behind in a room they’d vacated; I reported it at reception and it stayed there. As nobody claimed it, I kept it. It brings back fond memories as it’s a mature, very masculine scent with a strong herbal note that sets it apart from the ordinary. Since then, I’ve grown to love the Azzaro brand. I was keen to buy it, but sadly it’s no longer available. If anyone knows, please let me know. Otherwise, if you don’t want to smell like everyone else, here’s a genuine option.
One of the best modern Fougère versions, unfortunately a bit addictive and I say unfortunately because it doesn’t last long and comes in 75 ml. The good thing is that it’s incredibly cheap.
One of the best versions of a modern Fougère. Unfortunately, it’s a bit addictive, and I say unfortunately because it doesn’t last long and comes in a mere 75 ml. The good news is it’s incredibly cheap.
I’d dare say it’s one of the most exquisite low-cost fragrances. Masculine, green, fresh… spectacular.
