  It’s incredible I didn’t know about Terracotta Voile d’été before; it’s sublime and full of personality. It’s like a soft mist, almost imperceptible to me but enchanting to others. It floats gracefully, with a warmth that embraces and a just-right sweetness that wraps around its flowers, with a spicy note that emerges as it evolves. It begins with slightly sweet citrus surrounding a protagonist rose that is potent, yes, totally potent! It’s one of the few where I detect the rose with such clarity, as if bathed in liquid caramel, a gentle sweetness that doesn’t overwhelm. The jasmine and ylang-ylang blend perfectly with it, neither diminishing their importance but strengthening each other. The rose and heliotrope step back, creating a pleasant powdery atmosphere. That mixture recreates a landscape of arid beauty where the desert’s red sand is caressed by the sun. The vanilla comes and goes, edging the petals throughout the evolution. It’s magical; the longer it lingers on the skin, the more potent the notes become, they activate and dance. Oh! Now the lily smiles at me with coquetry. It’s elegance, warm flowers, bursts of spice, and mere sparks of sweetness; it’s the sun, a story of nostalgia, elegance and timelessness. It smells classic without seeming “old”. The only thing I’d add is that its beauty doesn’t last long on my nose; while others love it, I wish I could enjoy it to the full. It lasts about 5 or 6 hours on the skin, with a projection of 1 to 2 metres for the first hour, then gradually fades. If you get the chance, don’t miss it.
