I’ve never smelled SWY Oud, but here one appreciates Maison Alhambra’s vast catalogue of exclusive or discontinued perfumes. Briefly: it’s wholly vanilla and sweet among non-aggressive oud woods, with a well-presented lavender and a saffron base I’m not sure is declared. As I own the entire Stronger With You line, this SWY DNA dupe feels the most mature and, along with Intensely, is my favourite. It’s a dupe with that characteristic DNA but with a more woody, stately twist. Upon spraying, I thought of Lataffa Ameer al Oudh Intense; although they share vanilla and sweetness, they are wonderfully distinct. Your Touch Oud carries more wood and saffran, whereas Ameer feels sweeter and incense-like due to the sugar. It’s a marvel: it lasted 10 hours on skin with moderate initial projection. No reapplication needed. It’s winter, nocturnal, for semi-formal wear or romantic dates. One of the best recent hits. A real treat.
Canary Scent
Hello, my opinion: just arrived and I’m testing it. It lacks projection, perhaps due to insufficient maceration. Given the price, the oud is synthetic and for now it smells of simple vanilla; it’s not bad, but nothing exceptional. It has a leather note that adds a touch of magic, but the original, which I tried years ago, is tremendous and this doesn’t even come close. I’m not bashing it, but the other one surpasses it in quality and scent. For the price, it’s worth it, even blindly if you like vanilla. Always test first. Best regards.

The first time it gave me a slap of tar with hints of oud. I stored it for two months, gave it a few sprays in the air, and tried it again: there I recognised the DNA of Your Touch (I haven’t tried SWY). The characteristic vanilla and hazelnut notes appeared, wrapped in a soft yet noticeable oud. If you like synthetic oud, give it a chance: let it oxidise, macerate, and mature. Don’t judge it by the first spray straight from the bottle; it needs air and rest to show its best side.

It takes the classic DNA of Stronger With You and injects oud: pure brilliance. Although I haven’t tried the original, this Maison Alhambra version smells exquisite, is super long-lasting, and projects well. Ideal for winter, the quality-to-price ratio is astonishing. The formula is simple: vanilla, oud, and lavender that everyone loves, and I’ve received compliments everywhere. I recommend it 100%, but try it first as the oud can be strong for some.

If you like synthetic oud, give it a go, let it mature, and don’t judge the initial spray; it needs time to shine.
QUINERO
Just arrived, two sprays, and it’s pure synthetic oud. I don’t detect the DNA of Stronger With You (I own the original, Intense, and Absolutely), nor anything sweet. Just that oud mixed with a touch of leather, nothing animalistic. I hope to edit this with a proper review after further testing.
