Eclat d’Arpège by Lanvin

Totally addictive and undeniably feminine. It transports you to those crisp nights in a lilac garden. Perfect for everyday wear. Despite being a soft and delicate scent, it attracts plenty of compliments. I simply adore it.

Éclat d’Arpège is, for me, a magical perfume. It has something deeply personal: I wear it and feel it’s my own scent, even though I know it’s popular. And yet, every time I put it on, I’m surprised. It has that delicacy that doesn’t shout or invade. It’s a fragrance for an embrace, for close encounters. An intimate scent. It doesn’t seek to impress from a distance, but rather to cling to the memory of those who approach. People don’t always know where it comes from, but something curious happens to me: every time I wear it, I receive compliments. Not just ‘what a lovely perfume’, but genuinely enthusiastic remarks. Many say it doesn’t last, but in my experience, it does. I think what several people mention happens: it becomes imperceptible to the wearer. It doesn’t disappear; it simply settles, like a second skin. It continues to project, but softly. That’s what makes it so special. It doesn’t overwhelm me or tire me out. It’s there, like a constant whisper. I love it precisely for that. A discreet jewel and super elegant that doesn’t need to announce itself; it’s simply there, suspended.

I really liked it when I first tried it, but unfortunately, it’s a perfume that doesn’t feel like much; it leaves no trail at all. It disappointed me greatly.

A soft, personal indulgence in a delightful bottle. It evokes a tranquil moonlit walk through a field of green lilacs, bathed in the freshness of dew. I enjoy applying it before bed as it helps me relax and instils a sense of serenity. It has an addictive citrus opening, followed by a pleasant floral phase and a resinous dry-down, always accompanied by tea and osmanthus. The sheer pleasure of smelling it largely compensates for its short longevity and weak skin projection. Furthermore, it’s often available at a good price.

Straight after waking up today, I went to the bathroom and saw a striking violet sphere of 100ml. I didn’t hesitate to spray it on and felt the lilacs, green tea and olive surrounded by a charming musk, exquisite amber and fruity flowers that wrap me in a dream I don’t want to wake from. Let the trumpets of doom sound; it doesn’t matter. It offers that feeling of wellbeing and security, with a masterful evolution where it becomes increasingly warm, tender and delicate. It lasts for hours and, naturally, generates compliments. Heidi would wear it. 🕯️ 10/10.🔥

It’s a spring floral and delicate. I discovered it in 2023 and was shocked it’s identical to J. Del Pozo’s Halloween Kiss Sexy (2009 version, my signature). They are clean lilacs, fresh, citrusy at first with a green touch. Ideal from age 13, it delivers but doesn’t innovate. Pity its longevity: three hours on my skin and little sillage. Not worth the price. If they haven’t reformulated the Kiss Sexy, I’ll stick with that, as it’s cheaper, though it also doesn’t last long…

It’s my go-to perfume: every time I wear it, I find myself in the mood for sex. It always catches men’s attention and I usually end up in bed after being asked what I’m wearing. Note: I’m not easy, quite the opposite. I only wear it when I feel like someone that day. Because one is the Napoleon of the war of love EEEE😎

So lovely, easy to use and pleasing. My dad gifted it to me and it hasn’t been missing from my collection since, I have seven bottles. Simple, delicate and very feminine aroma; the sillage is subtle and ethereal, representing delicacy and innocence. It hardly lasts, but I reapply without issue. Super accessible cost. It’s a fruity floral, natural, not synthetic. Since its launch it has medium sillage: floral like a spring garden with a slightly sweet touch from the amber, nothing cloying, and a green note that adds cleanliness. It doesn’t tire me out, I’ll always have it.

Simple but not plain aroma, it has an addictive ‘something’. On my skin the musk stands out, pretty with an animal hint, like body scent, due to the combination with amber. The rest is green, clean and fresh, complementing it splendidly. It leaves a clean skin scent, comforting. I used it in the heat and am curious to try it in other climates. Edit (September): as it cooled down, I used it again and I think in this weather it reaches its full potential. The animal tone disappears, leaving it impeccably clean and green, almost angelic. It smells of cleanliness, innocence, a fresh and damp dawn. Very beautiful.

I bought it blindly. When I received it, I was scared: I expected floral based on reviews, but the opening is citrusy, with a very marked green tea note. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and it didn’t disappoint: I felt the florals I desired. It’s not strong or intrusive, very soft like a breeze, little sillage, it’s a personal scent that stays with you, although some people do notice it. It smells clean and neat; at first clean and then a super soft floral. It seems simple but unfolds into beautiful notes. I loved it so much I wore it to sleep, something I never do because I feel invaded, but here it was pleasant. It’s not intrusive or strong, so if you’re looking for something potent, this isn’t it. TRY IT ON SKIN BEFORE BUYING, many find it lasts little because it’s light. I’ve been using it for a while and it deserves an update: I said it was personal and few would notice it, I still agree, but never before had I been praised so much. I fell in love, it’s my favourite. The green tea note is now one of my favourites and the florals with musk literally replicate clean skin straight out of the shower. I love it, usable in all seasons and times, works for daily wear because it’s light, special for those who don’t want strong scents. It’s like being in a flowered field in spring receiving the breeze, it smells of freedom. One detail: poor longevity, but it doesn’t bother me to reapply because I love its aroma, feminine beyond measure, clean and relaxing, it doesn’t bother anyone.

I bought another one from the same brand (Jeanne de Lanvin) blind and loved it; reading reviews for this one has also blown my mind. With the other, I feel sexy and feminine, and with this… I feel super happy, pure joy. I absolutely adore it!

This is certainly not what I expected… If Chance Eau Tendre, L’Imperatrice, and Light Blue had a child, it would smell like this.

What a charming perfume! I’ve been praised for it: it’s subtle, elegant, and discreet. The only letdown is that it lasts very little on the skin 🙁

It’s my daily wear; I love it for the flowers and the sweet touch I associate with peach and amber. In my country, it’s not mass-produced (Lanvin is almost unknown), which works in my favour. People often ask what I’m wearing. For me, it’s suitable for any season and age, but it suits me best around 30. It lasts moderately on skin (no more than 6 hours) but on clothes until the next day.

An ethereal fairytale scent: soft, feminine, and delicate. Musk-flowered notes bathed in apricot that linger throughout the perfume. The trail is subtle yet perceptible; although it doesn’t last long, it’s not annoying and I happily reapply it. Economical and worth every penny. The packaging, from the box to the bottle, is exquisite. A beautiful perfume!
