Emporio Armani Stronger With You Intensely by Giorgio Armani

This was one of the first fragrances to make me addicted to perfumes. Sweet, masculine, and seductive… women absolutely love it. I tried the Powerfully to see if it surpassed it, but it didn’t; the cherry note on that one smells lovely, but here it wins on performance (I have the 2025 batch). For me, the best sweet designer scent alongside the Male Elixir.

A divided opinion. It’s a good perfume, no one will deny that, but I feel it doesn’t deserve all the fuss. It’s overhyped, expensive, and not particularly original. It’s vanilla and cinnamon. Tsk. Warm and sweet, yes, but there are better gourmands out there. Does it last? Yes, on the skin. Important: you have to get close. The trail is brutally disappointing. I suspect the 2025 batches have been reformulated, because otherwise it’s inexplicable (and it’s not my pH; I always wear cream). At €70 (150ml) in Spain, regarding price and performance, it’s a manual NEXT. There are cheaper and better Arab fragrances. Absolutely disappointed.

I love it; it projects and lasts as it should. The fragrance is delicious and ideal for cold weather, both indoors and outdoors, it behaves brilliantly. Be careful if you reapply, it can become overwhelming.

I tested it in a shopping centre; it’s a super-hyped fragrance and one of the worst I’ve heard. It smells like cardboard with dulce de leche. I didn’t like it at all. I’m saying this because of the hype they generate versus what it actually offers. The Absolutely is much better.

I’ve tried to find a ‘but’ for this perfume… and I have to be honest: the only one is that it’s easily recognisable when someone wears it. And there’s nothing worse (at least for me, who is a bit of a maniac) than crossing paths with someone wearing the same perfume. It’s quite ubiquitous, and I usually avoid such hyped fragrances; I prefer less common scents. That said… I couldn’t resist this. The sensation it conveys is very clear: like having an English tea with milk accompanied by sweet pastries. It’s warm, comforting, and creates closeness. People come closer and say you smell delicious, and very few sprays are more than enough. Is it worth it? Yes, unequivocally. Knowing it’s ubiquitous and you’ll smell it on others, yet as a personal treat, it’s a huge delight. An embracing, sweet, and addictive perfume, ideal for cold climates and moments where you seek closeness rather than exclusivity.

How interesting… The resemblance to the Most Wanted is there, but the difference with the Stronger is very noticeable. More spiced, more cinnamon-forward, more masculine. I thought it would be a cloyingly sweet gourmand. I shouldn’t trust reviews written so lightly these days; they always overlook details. When dry, it resembles the Asad Bourbon even more (with much higher quality, obviously) than the Most Wanted. Stronger with You Intensely is a supremely masculine, sexy, liqueur-like fragrance. They don’t declare it, but there is alcohol here. It reminds me of the Spicebomb Extreme. Nowhere near ‘sweet/youthful’, don’t get fooled. This perfume is for imposing men, not children. Delighted with my purchase. 9/10.

Very good perfume, I’ve had it for a year and on skin it lasts a long time with an exaggerated trail that literally floods the area where I am. Be careful, because many times it has become overwhelming; I’d give it 9/10 because the scent is very rich and the longevity is good, but it can get very tiring.

It is simple: the best extremely sweet designer fragrance by far. Value for money is a 10, duration receives praise, and performance is guaranteed. Much better than the current ‘party’ perfumes in vogue today.

It is one of my favourite men’s fragrances; my boyfriend wears it and I love how it smells, thank you for creating this masterpiece. I would say it is more suitable for winter, as it feels heavier in the summer.

Stronger With You Intensely is nothing more than the new formula being sold and pushed to the younger demographic: we have moved from heavy fragrances like Invictus, 212 VIP, and the bloody One Million to a sweeter, more assertive range for the people around us (Born In Roma, Pacific…). Is this EDP disruptive, something previously seen that impacts and becomes the scent you are remembered by? No, not at the moment, because almost every young person aged 20-25 owns it, but that does not diminish the fact that it is interesting and has a certain quality. I tried the line because of the chestnut notes. The EDT smells like nothing, just schoolboy cologne. The ‘Absolutely’ smells like a country bumpkin, and ‘SWY Parfum’ is a mix of everything: the vibe of ‘Intensely’ and the EDT, with a mature touch of ‘Absolutely’, but without being a divorcee scent or excessively sweet. As I wanted to smell like a dessert, I bought this version. That said, the chestnut note is fleeting; it is barely noticeable. I see it as a daily wear and not excessively masculine: it never crossed my mind to wear it on a date, let alone a party (repeating myself, it smells like a dessert, it is not sexy). For that purpose, go for the Parfum or one of the 10,000 designer fragrances designed to succeed. The trail is quite limited, which I do not see as a problem (let us hope we stop flooding rooms), but it is perfectly noticeable when walking down the street. Performance is average (two hours of good projection, then it recedes to skin level until it almost disappears by 8-10 hours). I recommend not applying it to clothes, because the scent left after two days is vanilla and you have to throw the item away to wash it. In conclusion, even having been hyper-reformulated after the social media boom, it remains quite good. It is a sweet scent, leaning masculine, which does not cloy like other gourmands and can be worn without issue by anyone (it is not a Dior Homme Intense). Quite different from the men’s designer market, but not disruptive (it remains a scent to please the masses, without much depth). Regarding price, quite good (I paid 52€ for 100ML). Go to your perfumerie, smell all the flankers, and if you like it, buy it regardless of whether a friend already owns one. PD: DO NOT USE IN SUMMER PLEASE!!! Vomit-inducing, truly. Above 18°C, this EDP is a ticking time bomb.

It’s overpowering, but to be honest, that’s the only way I can tolerate it. I bought it years ago and it was overwhelming; it had already been reformulated then, lasting long and projecting strongly, but it gave me headaches so I had to sell it. This re-re-re reformulated version smells similar, with boosted notes to make it denser and less extremely sweet, and I put up with it more. Before, the scent cloyed me and I only used it occasionally. The current one has terrible longevity. Fair enough, they could have made it less overwhelming in a moderate way, not this that smells like a strong opening cologne that then vanishes. I bought it again because the hype has died down and it was a good price, and as I say, I tolerate it more, but the longevity could be better.

A disappointment due to the scant longevity, around two hours on my skin; it must be the reformulation as I bought it in August 2025. The scent is rich and sweet, but I recommend looking at the Arab brand Emper UNPLUGGED WITH YOU, which is quite similar and lasts much longer for around €16. I feel ripped off by this perfume regarding the price and longevity; despite many people saying it lasts a long time, for me it was a disappointment in this aspect.

After finishing the bottle, I recommend it. A very good perfume, warm, unisex. Toffee and suede with high projection and longevity. I enjoyed it a lot. It usually pleases others too. I won’t repurchase but I’ll look for a toffee perfume without suede. Toffee has me hooked.

Every time I smell it on others, my mind says Lattafa Khamrah, so I wouldn’t buy it knowing it can be confused with a cheap Arab fragrance. I prefer the original SWY EDT over this Intensely.

I picked it up while walking through the centre, looking for something to add intensity when the world turns grey. In the shop, the blend of vanilla, cinnamon and amber caught my attention; it’s distinct, powerful, and upon testing, it feels as though the very air changes. I wear it and people ask what it is, until one day I smell it on the street and realise it no longer belongs to me, but to everyone. Social media has made it viral, with everyone recommending it as ‘the one that attracts glances’, which annoys me; individuality has become a trend. A friend recognises it in me naturally, the baker wears it with his freshly baked bread, and even at the gym it smells of vanilla amidst the sweat and metal. I wore it to a date on recommendation, arrived excited, and she said: ‘Are you wearing Stronger With You Intensely? It’s lovely, my ex used to wear it’. In that moment I understood: it no longer smells like ‘Stronger With You’, but like ‘Tired Of You… Eternally’.
