I absolutely love it; it’s sensual and perfect for going out to conquer. A few drops smell amazing in an interview. To me, it’s the eighth wonder—I adore it and already have a refill. Lasts 12+ hours on clothes with an incredible trail. Highly recommended. ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Ambre Nuit is a tribute to the rose, not amber. It opens citrusy with balanced bergamot, neither too fresh nor green, but enveloping. Then the mature, open rose takes over, elegant and velvety. Gradually it yields to amber: warm, resinous, and sophisticated. I feel super seductive and confident; ideal for an intense night. It’s unisex, suited for cold, humid climates. I’m not usually a rose lover, but this has changed my mind. Minimum 10-hour longevity with a notable trail. My favourite for such occasions.

Although called Ambre Nuit, it’s a tribute to the rose, not the amber. It opens with balanced bergamot, neither fresh nor green, but dense and enveloping. Then the bergamot fades, giving way to a ripe, open, natural rose with dark, velvety petals. Gradually, it yields to amber, becoming warm, resinous, and elegant, blending deliciously with the skin. I love this Dior line; I bought it on a whim and have no regrets. It evolves through three distinct phases that never tire. The trail is notable and lasts over ten hours. It makes me feel seductive and confident, ideal when you know the night will end with rumpled sheets. It’s a perfume for going to bed in a carnal sense, indispensable. I find it unisex and perfect for cold climates. I’m not a rose fan, but this has made me want to investigate the note, which I previously thought too mature for me, and it has silenced my critics.

I want a McFlurry now; McDonald’s is 20 minutes away. Although I have Ambre Nuit to smell, I couldn’t agree more with Calvofe: amber is the king of dates. Sweet yet masculine, like Grand Soir or Ambre Sultan. It empowers me. This Dior is the only famous amber I’m missing.

After a failed date at a soulless restaurant, I left feeling down. But walking away smelling Ambre Nuit lifted my spirits. I felt proud of the scent and headed to McDonald’s for a McFlurry. Then home to Zidane and bed. I recommend this fragrance for such situations: sweet amber, velvety rose, and deep patchouli. If you’re introduced, you’ve already won.

I’d been set up with a girl via an app at one of those soulless, copy-paste restaurants designed to avoid ordering mistakes. I arrived, waited, and when she didn’t show, I left in a sombre mood and without an appetite. However, on my way home, smelling Ambre Nuit, my spirits lifted until I stopped at a McDonald’s for a McFlurry. Once home, I put on a Zidane compilation and went to bed feeling ready. I’m saying this for anyone with dates: I recommend this scent. It’s a sweet amber with velvety rose and patchouli that adds depth. If you wear it and someone turns up, you’ve already won, as it smells fantastic and eases the approach.

Ojos Claros
Fresh amber with plenty of grapefruit and spice, unisex masculine to my taste. I didn’t think a citrus amber could be neutral. It reminds me of Kilian’s Angels’ Share: both exquisite, but this is fresher while Kilian’s is sweeter. I love perfumes with ‘amber’ in the name; if anyone can recommend another more coquettish one…

Fresh amber with grapefruit and spices. Unisex masculine, in my opinion. I didn’t think it could be neutral with amber and citrus notes. It’s like Kilian’s Angels’ Share: this one fresher, the other sweeter. I’m passionate about perfumes with ‘amber’ in the name; if anyone recommends another coquettish one…

Exquisite, elegant, and refined. It’s dark, and I have to press my nose to my hands to smell it; the trail is very limited. On my skin, it lasts 2h30 and is already gone, what a pity. The price is high for what it offers. If the trail and longevity were better, it would be my favourite Dior.

Ambre Nuit is refined, delicate, and has an elegant feminine air, but don’t be fooled by the name: it’s a tribute to the rose. It has three clear notes: bergamot, rose, and amber. It opens with fresh bergamot that tames the rose and amber, making it more refreshing. Then it settles into rose and grey amber: powdery, semi-sweet, and vaporous, creating a mystical aura. It’s a beautiful velvety rose. Lasts 7-8 hours with moderate projection. It’s unisex but leans feminine. It’s lovely and high quality, but 300€ is too much for just a pretty rose. Try it before buying.

Although I’m not an amber lover, this perfume shines as a superior quality unisex, better than Feve Delicieuse. Don’t expect liquid gold in Dior’s Privée collection; they are excellent pieces but at high prices. Performance is moderate and it probably suits a woman better, but I wear it without issues at 23. I find masculine elegance in this perfume. No pretensions or stridency. AMBERED ELEGANCE.

It conveys a masculine elegance without pretension, pure ambered elegance.

Words fail me… A. Nuit is one of the most luxurious fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Every time I wear it, I can’t help but feel sublime. It’s mainly rose and grey amber, sounds simple… until you try it! It’s so well-made that, although simple, it’s one of the best things I’ve come across. Perfection in a bottle!
I couldn’t agree more with my previous review. A rose termed masculine (haha) with a very fine amber, nothing prickly or animalic, mature, classic, slightly sweet, a bit dirty, and very sexy at the same time. Perhaps clichéd notes, but this Ambre Nuit stands out. It could last like this all night. Generally, amber perfumes tend to smell like Coca-Cola to me, and this is something else entirely. It has a super noticeable sillage and lasts over 10 hours, making itself felt constantly. It would be the perfect perfume for Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Too formal. Ambre Nuit, I have no complaints against you… but it’s not for me.
Smells of amber and romantic roses, elegant and sweet. Ideal for nights, special events, or celebrations in open venues, like a hacienda. The opening is potent but then softens beautifully. Perfect for mature people, unisex.
Smells like romantic, elegant, and sweet amber and roses. Ideal for evening occasions, special events, or celebrations in open venues, such as a party at a hacienda. The opening is very strong and gradually takes shape. Suitable for older or mature people, unisex.
This perfume has left me surprised. Far from the opulent or invasive scent I expected, it’s a delicate and beautiful floral amber. In the opening, a fresh, vibrant, sparkling, aromatic rose stands out, zero powdery and subtly sweet, surrounded by amber that becomes warmer and slightly smoky in the dry down without ever losing that freshness. Nothing piercing, totally harmonious from the very first second. Extremely high quality. Elegant and versatile. I’d heard reviews for men, but I find it 100% unisex. The name is confusing; although it’s very amber-heavy, I find it luminous, more for day than night. It doesn’t project beastly or have a wide sillage, but it lasts 6-8 hours. In summary: a very good creation for lovers of the rose/amber combo or for those starting with orientals, as it’s more delicate than most.
Ambre Nuit is a soft and luxurious fragrance that manages to be charming with very few notes. It’s quite linear, not revealing new notes over time, but it allows you to appreciate the nuances of its two components. At first, a slightly aggressive sweet rose that calms down quickly. The amber adds warmth and woody touches. After a few minutes, the amber gains softness and a carnal touch, making it very attractive; the rose becomes more powdery and delicate. It’s simple, but that simplicity makes it special and elegant. Longevity is 5 to 7 hours, with quite weak projection, making it an intimate perfume.
Ambre Nuit is soft and luxurious, enchanting with just a few notes. It’s linear, without abrupt changes, yet you can appreciate the nuances of its ingredients. At first, a sweet, slightly aggressive rose that calms down quickly. The amber adds warmth and woody touches; then it becomes carnal and alluring, while the rose turns powdery and delicate. Simple yet special and elegant. Lasts about 5 to 7 hours with intimate and weak projection.
After several uses, I noticed something familiar: it shares a very similar rose to Dior Homme Parfum. Excellent fragrance, perfect as a signature scent. The dry down retains the sweetness with a hyper-subtle animalic touch that makes it sexy.
I tested this gem on blotter and loved it. Those ambered roses are spectacular. Unfortunately, I haven’t tried it on skin yet, but I’ll soon get a decant to continue testing. Smells super unisex and delicate, nothing invasive.
Today I tested this beauty on blotter paper and I can’t stop thinking about it. Spectacular ambered roses. I was completely delighted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try it on skin, but I’ll soon get a decant to expand my review. I find it super unisex and delicate, nothing invasive.
A very lovely and fascinating fragrance. It’s the combination of amber and roses, slightly atypical, that creates a sublime scent. One point I don’t like much (though others might) is that it doesn’t have a strong sillage; from the first hour, it stays close to the skin. Considering the price, I’d give it a slightly higher score, but I understand its purpose: to be warm, soft, and sophisticated without drawing attention, yet you’ll undoubtedly be the one smelling the best in the room. 8.2/10.
A very lovely and fascinating fragrance: the blend of amber and roses is sublime, though a bit powdery (others might enjoy it). The only thing that doesn’t convince me is the lack of sillage; from the very first moment, it stays close to the skin. For the price, I’d give it a higher note, but I understand it aims to be warm, soft, and sophisticated without drawing attention. You’re surely the best-smelling person in the room. 8.2/10.
Smells absolutely top-tier, 10/10. You can tell the quality of the ingredients from miles away; it smells like an expensive, elegant, and sophisticated fragrance. It’s a silent luxury: you can smell it, but it doesn’t overpower. It’s simple, just amber and flowers, with no complex evolutions, simply what it is. Incredible and feminine. The only drawback is the longevity is medium-short, around four hours. The projection is strong at first but fades within an hour or two, just like the sillage. I’d buy it without a doubt because it smells wonderful, though perhaps the 100ml bottle would be better for carrying an applicator and reapplying every two or three hours. I’d wear it all year round except in summer, only in the evening or if it’s not too hot.
