  Words fail me… A. Nuit is one of the most luxurious fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Every time I wear it, I can’t help but feel sublime. It’s mainly rose and grey amber, sounds simple… until you try it! It’s so well-made that, although simple, it’s one of the best things I’ve come across. Perfection in a bottle!

  I couldn’t agree more with my previous review. A rose termed masculine (haha) with a very fine amber, nothing prickly or animalic, mature, classic, slightly sweet, a bit dirty, and very sexy at the same time. Perhaps clichéd notes, but this Ambre Nuit stands out. It could last like this all night. Generally, amber perfumes tend to smell like Coca-Cola to me, and this is something else entirely. It has a super noticeable sillage and lasts over 10 hours, making itself felt constantly. It would be the perfect perfume for Patrick Bateman in American Psycho. Too formal. Ambre Nuit, I have no complaints against you… but it’s not for me.

  This perfume has left me surprised. Far from the opulent or invasive scent I expected, it’s a delicate and beautiful floral amber. In the opening, a fresh, vibrant, sparkling, aromatic rose stands out, zero powdery and subtly sweet, surrounded by amber that becomes warmer and slightly smoky in the dry down without ever losing that freshness. Nothing piercing, totally harmonious from the very first second. Extremely high quality. Elegant and versatile. I’d heard reviews for men, but I find it 100% unisex. The name is confusing; although it’s very amber-heavy, I find it luminous, more for day than night. It doesn’t project beastly or have a wide sillage, but it lasts 6-8 hours. In summary: a very good creation for lovers of the rose/amber combo or for those starting with orientals, as it’s more delicate than most.

  Ambre Nuit is a soft and luxurious fragrance that manages to be charming with very few notes. It’s quite linear, not revealing new notes over time, but it allows you to appreciate the nuances of its two components. At first, a slightly aggressive sweet rose that calms down quickly. The amber adds warmth and woody touches. After a few minutes, the amber gains softness and a carnal touch, making it very attractive; the rose becomes more powdery and delicate. It’s simple, but that simplicity makes it special and elegant. Longevity is 5 to 7 hours, with quite weak projection, making it an intimate perfume.

  After several uses, I noticed something familiar: it shares a very similar rose to Dior Homme Parfum. Excellent fragrance, perfect as a signature scent. The dry down retains the sweetness with a hyper-subtle animalic touch that makes it sexy.

  I tested this gem on blotter and loved it. Those ambered roses are spectacular. Unfortunately, I haven’t tried it on skin yet, but I’ll soon get a decant to continue testing. Smells super unisex and delicate, nothing invasive.

  Today I tested this beauty on blotter paper and I can’t stop thinking about it. Spectacular ambered roses. I was completely delighted. Unfortunately, I couldn’t try it on skin, but I’ll soon get a decant to expand my review. I find it super unisex and delicate, nothing invasive.

  A very lovely and fascinating fragrance. It’s the combination of amber and roses, slightly atypical, that creates a sublime scent. One point I don’t like much (though others might) is that it doesn’t have a strong sillage; from the first hour, it stays close to the skin. Considering the price, I’d give it a slightly higher score, but I understand its purpose: to be warm, soft, and sophisticated without drawing attention, yet you’ll undoubtedly be the one smelling the best in the room. 8.2/10.

The only thing that doesn’t convince me is the lack of sillage; from the very first moment, it stays close to the skin. For the price, I’d give it a higher note, but I understand it aims to be warm, soft, and sophisticated without drawing attention. You’re surely the best-smelling person in the room. 8.2/10.

  Smells absolutely top-tier, 10/10. You can tell the quality of the ingredients from miles away; it smells like an expensive, elegant, and sophisticated fragrance. It’s a silent luxury: you can smell it, but it doesn’t overpower. It’s simple, just amber and flowers, with no complex evolutions, simply what it is. Incredible and feminine. The only drawback is the longevity is medium-short, around four hours. The projection is strong at first but fades within an hour or two, just like the sillage. I’d buy it without a doubt because it smells wonderful, though perhaps the 100ml bottle would be better for carrying an applicator and reapplying every two or three hours. I’d wear it all year round except in summer, only in the evening or if it’s not too hot.
