  • Since I found it, I can’t stop wearing it. It’s a delight to shower, dress, and apply to the neck for work. It’s excellent, potent, green, spiced, dark, mysterious, and addictive. For those who know Creed’s Royal Oud, this is the best inspiration. It has great potency and longevity. The main difference is a green, cold leather base. Out of seven days, I use it three. It’s sumptuous and at a ridiculous price compared to Creed; its trail, longevity, and projection outdo the original by several turns. It’s not synthetic; the green notes are intoxicating. Highly recommended. Scent 9/10, Trail 10/10, Longevity 10/10, Projection 9/10.

They say it’s like Creed’s Royal Oud, but since I haven’t tried it, I can’t confirm. They also say it reminds me of Polo, and I have tried that, but it only resembles it at the end, when only the leather and oakmoss remain. It’s a beautiful perfume where cypress dominates with that pencil-wood smell and an unlisted ambergris note. Then come the woods, and finally the leather and moss. I didn’t notice the oud. In short, it’s a modern fougère. Its performance is brutal: heavy trail, wide projection, and it lasts over 8 hours on skin and weeks on clothes. Anecdote: at a meeting, I greeted a friend, and hours later, when I hugged him again, everyone could smell his perfume clinging to him. Incredible.

Beware of its deceptive potency: don’t overdo the sprays if you’re in enclosed spaces. It’s not bad; it’s a masculine, intense scent, nothing for teenagers. If you like wood, oakmoss, galbanum, and the spice of pepper, you’ll love it. It’s not a copy of Polo Green, which is greener and more vintage; it’s a winter fragrance for day and night, but avoid the office unless you use just two sprays. It has good performance, and luckily, the trail isn’t invasive. It smells powerful and solid, without being unisex; that oud is more woody, with cypress and leather, giving it a rough niche touch. The bottle is luxurious.

  • I bought this thinking it would be a Polo Green, but it’s only 40% of the deal. Surprisingly, it smells a lot like Lattafa’s Al Areeq Silver; it’s as if you mixed Polo with that ‘cocaine’ leather and mechanical notes. I liked it, but beware: it’s not for picking up people or getting compliments, it’s for enthusiasts. They say it inspires Creed’s Royal Oud, though I’ve never tried that.
