Descripción
Deziro by Nishane is an aromatic aquatic fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2024, this composition is signed by perfumer Alberto Morillas. In the top notes, mandarin intertwines with marine notes and Ambroxan Super, leading into a heart where mint, cyperus, star anise, geranium, and carrot seeds create a fresh and spicy atmosphere. The base rests on Haitian vetiver, ambrettolide, and sandalwood, closing the olfactory experience with elegance and persistence.

What a huge disappointment. It smells hyper-generic, like shower gel, Axe deodorant, or gym clothes. I was quite let down. I can understand Parfums de Marly pulling this off, but not Nishane. If I smelled it blind, I’d never say it costs what it does. There’s no mint, no tangerine, and certainly no marine notes. It’s just Axe deodorant with Nishane’s performance.
They gave it to me thinking it was for women, hahaha. I tried it and was reading reviews saying it’s for men. It does smell a bit masculine, but it’s fresh and feels like you’ve just washed your hair with a men’s shampoo. I like the scent, although it is quite generic.
I genuinely loved this, and I really did. I get that some people seek niche scents that feel exclusive, like masterpieces lasting three days, especially if they’re pricey. But personally, as long as the notes blend well and have their own character, I think it’s great to release perfumes with a more generic touch. This one is totally easy to wear, smells fantastic, and feels very elegant. I could find similar scents for a third of the price, but no—that’s not what I meant. This fragrance has enough nuances to stand out from the rest in its category. Whether that justifies the price difference is another matter, but many designer perfumes aren’t as well-balanced as this, and you can tell. Cheers.
They gave it to me thinking it was for women, haha. I put it on and I’m reading reviews saying it’s for men 🥺. It smells a bit masculine but it’s fresh and feels like you’ve just washed your hair with a men’s shampoo. I like the scent, although it is very generic.
I was recommended this fragrance as a fresh version of Hacivat, but upon trying it, I definitely see it as closer to a Sauvage EDT or a Bleu de Chanel. It’s a scent that feels very fresh, marine, with mint notes, a citrus touch, and a richness that can easily attract many compliments. Now, is it worth it? It’s true that the quality Nishane impresses in their creations is magnificent, but it’s also true that the olfactory profile in Deziro is quite common, nothing particularly striking. In a collection that includes masterpieces like Kredo and Tero, I feel Deziro lags far behind in every aspect. It’s a very pleasant fragrance that projects well, but lacks something to set it apart from others. Every user must draw their own conclusions, but in my case, I wouldn’t recommend it today. It doesn’t seem like an essential piece in my collection or anyone else’s.
The biggest NO in history. In terms of scent, performance, and price. It would be a mediocre fragrance not worth buying even if it were an Arabic perfume for $50. Far too basic; a smell you can find in many other scents. And terrifying performance; I don’t feel it lasts more than an hour. No, no, and no.
