I love it. It’s fruity, tropical, juicy and cheerful, yet with a sexy touch for summer evenings. I find it super attractive. I say sexy because it’s ideal for late afternoon and evening; in the morning I prefer something fresher and more aquatic. I liked it at first sniff. I thought it was a delicious mango, but it turns out to be dragon fruit (which smells nothing to me, but that’s another story). It has that typical Escada chewy candy touch, but isn’t as childish as other versions, like that pink bottle one that reminded me of Camy’s ice cream (I think it was called ‘Festival’…). The point is, this smells much better and I adore it. When I’m looking for a summer and tropical aroma, these juicy fruity scents come to mind, nothing of those creamy coconut and tiaré ones that get cloying in the heat. It’s like a mango or papaya sorbet, a cool cocktail at sunset, or a fruit salad from the fridge for dinner. I liked it immensely.

I absolutely love it. It’s fruity, tropical, juicy and cheerful, yet with a sexy summer evening twist. I find it super attractive. It smells very much like the old limited editions, though with less sweetness. The incense adds a sense of seriousness and poise. The trail is appropriate and lasts a long time on the skin.

This year’s Escada Fruit Polo revolves around dragon fruit, so it’s a cologne that evokes the aroma of tropical fruit yoghurts. Like Taj Sunset and Tropical Heat, it turns the wearer into a rich fruit caramel full of summery joy. Every year Escada offers the chance to create summer memories centred on a star fruit, and with this edition, I’ve travelled back in time. It’s a tropical refreshment, a tropical lollipop that combines perfectly with the blue of the pool or the sea. (Here in the UK, they also mention Solero ice cream).

Smells of persimmon and papaya; a linear scent that becomes quite unremarkable after an hour. Definitely dispensable.

I just tried it in a shop; they said it’s a new release… It reminded me so much of Pacific Paradise, which I wore at 15 and is now discontinued. I think I’ll buy it just because of how similar it is. I’m not sure if the notes are as alike as they should be, or if my brain is playing tricks, but it felt incredibly similar.
