Hawas Fire by Rasasi

Well, what can I say? It smells like a total disaster; not even suitable as a gift, let alone for bed.

I tried it in-store and the first thing I noticed was a cheap, sugary scent sold at ridiculous prices that tastes like everything but sugar. A somewhat synthetic, strong sweetness (plus, I don’t know if it was the wind or the heat, it evaporated from my hand in two hours). Nevertheless, I don’t see it as bad. It’s not my style, but I find it quite good and attractive. I’ll try it again because the hype surrounding it is illogical. It’s super versatile; an easy scent to wear almost anywhere except very formal events. As a daily wear for someone young, it’s excellent. Scent: 8/10 Longevity: 6/10 (? Projection: 7/10 Versatility: 9/10 Not a blind buy. Several friends didn’t like it for the same reason, but it’s the type of perfume that ‘changes’ when you smell it on others (or I hope so). P.S.: It gave me an allergy on my hand right where I applied it.

Simply incredible, it sits well and projects throughout the whole room.

It’s hard to describe; to me, it smells of red berries with a sweet, ambered base and a marine floral note. It is versatile, but unlike others, I don’t recommend it for heat; Hawas Fire is sweet and potent, if you use it above 25 degrees, it will be a nuisance. I’m using it in the cold and sometimes I’m bothered a bit by how strong it is, although it’s only five sprays. Better for temperate or cold climates, with few sprays in enclosed spaces.

Well, I want to give my review now. For me, it combines aromatic, marine, and ambered notes. It opens with rosemary, like mint, citrus, and sweet at the same time; that opening resonates strongly for the first 20 minutes and floats for an hour. Then come the marine notes with that sticky type of Invictus, without fruit, and behind that the soft jasmine that differentiates it. The heart lasts 4-5 hours projecting strongly at the start. The base has me confused: they say it’s ambered, but for me, it is ambergris, sweet and warm, not resinous like traditional amber; it resembles more red amber, a thousand times easier to wear. The mineral notes give a clean sea salt, not earthy or wet, and I love those nuances. The base is the most beautiful part, lasting 5 hours with soft projection. Rasasi does things well; it’s my favourite from the Hawas line: different and accomplished. Projection moderate to strong. Scent: like entering a frozen coast where the sea hammers the rocks. It’s a true blue perfume, versatile for everything, not formal but never bad. Compliments are present. Scent: 9.5/10, Price: 7/10, Trail/Projection: 7.5/10, Versatility: 10/10.

For me, the opening is fruity and slightly sweet, like candied orange peel without being cloying. Then it blends with amber and florals, sounding fantastic. I’ve received many compliments; it smells great, lasts long, and is noticeable. I wear it daily and it never fails. In short: a fruit and floral tea with a sweet touch. Recommended.

Top aroma. The woody notes are very subtle; what predominates is the fruitiness, like a very sweet red apple. It gave me a flashback to my Only The Brave Tattoo, but with much more potency.

Rich.

Very good perfume, like all in the Hawas line. It is different, a sweet marine scent. The sweet part reminded me of 9PM Rebel, but with a salty marine base. I do not think it resembles the others in the line. It has beastly projection, it is felt from kilometres away and fills a whole room for 3 or 4 hours.

A pretentious attempt at marine freshness. The clary sage clashes with Egyptian jasmine and a cold, metallic mineral base. The synthetic marine note dominates; the ambergris barely fulfils its role as a fixative. Projection 7/10, it smells like car air freshener, not skin. It lasts 8 hours as one might expect from an EDP, but it is linear and boring. Only suitable for spring/summer daytime; at night or in high heat it becomes harsh and smells of rust. It is for the man who wants to smell expensive without risking anything, zero personality, for ages 35 to 55. It evokes wet grey cement for me. Audience 90% male, 10% unisex. Attractiveness 5/10: it does not bother but does not enchant, it is functional and that’s it.

The best Hawas in the entire line and I will not discuss it. Despite the new flankers, this smells like something unique, nothing you have smelled before, with a high dose of sensuality. It is definitely in my top 3; it has given me the best compliments. Perfumón, I will not tire of saying it. The trail on clothes after three hours is inexplicable, it can only be experienced. Perfect for dates or special events to stand out. A total ‘beast mode’ and a ‘compliment giver’ without competition. I urge every man to have it in his collection; later they will come here and thank you for it.

After five months of use and countless occasions, my final verdict is clear: Hawas Fire is the perfume the internet and TikTok will tell you is the worst in the line, a waste of money, and short-lived. But when you wear it and step out, compliments are guaranteed. I’ve never gone anywhere without someone complimenting my scent, especially women. It’s a beast in terms of performance: over 8 hours on skin and clothes, still smelling the next day. It has a commanding sillage that doesn’t go unnoticed. I really like that many people don’t like it and prefer other, flashier scents from the brand, such as Coff Coff Ice. I’ve never heard anyone else wearing this; it makes you stand out massively and gives you personality. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have the presence and character to pull it off.

To be honest, I’m quite disappointed. While it’s easy to wear, the scent is incredibly synthetic. The longevity is average, lasting no more than six hours, after which it feels very close to the skin. The berry notes are fine, but given how synthetic it is, it smells like Caprice shampoo or a Glade-style air freshener.

A good fragrance, but I expected more. While researching, I saw mixed opinions on whether it was the standout of the line or just another one, despite being 100% original. Now that I’ve tried it, I can say it’s a delicious scent, just not as surprising. It has a strong red berry note, smells rich, and is suitable for all kinds of events, even daily wear. It’s sweet but not cloying, youthful and fresh with marine touches. I feel it’s not quite as impressive or distinctive as I hoped, so I’d wear it more during the day than on important dates. I rate it an 8/10 in my collection.

I’m sticking with Hawas Ice. I bought the Fire due to the hype and reviews, what a letdown: it smells like cheap car air freshener, strawberry gum, or red Halls. The berry opening is interesting but vanishes quickly, leaving a generic, simplistic scent. The marine notes are barely noticeable and the jasmine fades fast. It lacks power in the fruit notes and is much less potent than Ice.
