Synthetic citrus opening with a spicy twist reminiscent of Sculpture. Although it doesn’t list white flowers, they are quite present. As it dries, it becomes woody, soapy and very clean, without being loud or trying too hard. An informal and pleasant scent, ideal for everyday wear and the office. A perfume that delivers.

If you’re looking for a rich, quality scent at a good price, I recommend it. It smells great and can be worn in any season. It projects and leaves a trail moderately, but it’s definitely a compliment getter.

I love the opening, but as it dries I sense a slightly generic woody scent and it seems quite ‘mature’ for me. I don’t think it’s a safe blind buy.

So casual yet refined at the same time… It’s the quiet one in the room who always looks good. It smells fresh with a touch of sweetness without cloying. I imagine it with a sharper citrus and boom, it would be a hit. It lacks that extra touch to truly stand its ground.

Fragrance for the office and daily use. It gives a very fresh opening with notes of bergamot and mandarin. As it dries, it feels slightly woody. On my skin, it has a projection that doesn’t last past an hour and a very poor trail.

For the price, it’s a gem. It has a creamy, fresh vibe; the sweetness isn’t cloying and it suits semi-formal occasions perfectly. If worn daily, it can become a bit tiring by the end of the day. Longevity is average: projects for an hour, then clings to the skin for another six. Rating: 6.5/10. Good perfume for the price.

It smells very much like Nautica Voyage, but softer and with superior quality.

Gentleman Only is an inoffensive scent that projects cleanliness and stature. It looks sexy if worn by a well-groomed man in a pressed shirt and polished shoes. It opens with a strong, almost spicy pink pepper note, balanced by mandarin. In the heart, cedar, pink pepper and incense create a mysterious air, like a gentleman who doesn’t show all his cards at first. It’s a bit overlooked in the Gentleman line, but it’s an excellent signature scent; not overused if you want to smell different and pleasant, ideal for daily wear and the office. On my skin, it lasts the whole workday, sometimes nearing ten hours, other times around seven.

Does Gentleman Only resemble L’Homme Libre EDT? Yes and no. They belong to the same olfactive family and their alchemy is similar, but they differ markedly in performance. It is considerably rich and pleasant, but every attribute L’Homme Libre has, this one lacks: a fairly flat fragrance, poor trail and scant longevity. From when he perfumed himself to go to work until he left the house (at most an hour), the fragrance had almost disappeared. If he had wanted more persistence, he would have had to apply triple the usual amount. Everything that is exuberance in the other is scarcity here. I don’t recommend it from a price-quality point of view.

It starts with a citrusy and spicy opening, a burst of pink pepper that fades slightly, a subtle exquisite citrus note of bergamot and a very singular woody resin. What an exquisite aroma! The floral notes are very subtle, perceiving mainly a powdery vetiver and slightly talcum-like. Its woody base is comforting and relaxed, with touches of nutmeg, cedar and birch leaves that give it a powdery, fresh and neat sensation, enveloping in a high-quality musk. It develops in an atmosphere of freshness, cleanliness and great elegance. It’s a well-composed fragrance, synonymous with quality in all its notes. Its nature is fresh-spicy-woody, full of qualities, passing through elegant and sensual, and ending up tender and inoffensive. It causes me an internal sensation of peace, tranquility and comfort. With the versatility of being applied to a formal event adding security, or daily use (office, school) adding confidence and nobility. It’s an almost complete perfume; by its nature we can’t demand performance above average, three to four hours depending on the weather and your pH, but if you keep it in a cool climate you’ll get a delicately pleasant trail. Avoid using it in humid extremes, as it will consume much sooner. If you like this type of fragrance, you’ll know it’s worth the price. Otherwise, you’ll be left waiting for something more. I don’t know the parent brand yet, but in my opinion it leans towards adult, maturity and experience; here we find more towards the youthful without losing that exquisite and quality touch. Its name reveals its essence very well: refinement and exclusivity. Its heavy glass bottle is precious, elegant and sober; a very addictive celestial liquid, you’ll always want to leave your mark. Guaranteed compliments, but not with a connotation of attraction, rather of respect and admiration. The scent adds a feeling of relaxation, comfort and confidence, without aromatic transgression, but a heap of olfactory caresses.

Rich scent that makes you feel different: fresh yet with spicy and woody notes, very unique. The only downside is it doesn’t project much and lasts about six hours on the skin, but since it smells so good, I don’t mind reapplying it several times.

Longevity is its weak point, barely reaching five hours on the skin, but the scent is exquisite, masculine and serious. Perfect for the office, although it doesn’t cover the whole day without reapplication. I think the price in stores is high for what it offers; the fragrance isn’t bad, it just lacks performance.

Rich, formal and serious, with a sparkling touch that gives it a youthful air without overdoing it. It stands out from the crowd with its incense, pepper, elemi and birch notes, creating an impressive synergy. It reminds me of Animale due to the vetiver, citrus and that accord note, but with its own personality. It’s versatile, good for both young and older people, and stands out in spring and summer, especially in the morning and afternoon.

It was my signature for years. A wonderful dry all-rounder when the nutmeg comes down. It lasts six to seven hours with moderate projection; you notice it when you pass by or when someone approaches you.

Excellent scent, refined, spicy, fresh and woody. It has an 80s-90s vintage style without being outdated. I see it for those over 25 and formal occasions, although it goes well with casual clothes. It’s a flagship fragrance for all year round and is ‘office friendly’ because it doesn’t bother anyone. It doesn’t project much, but I think that’s part of its formal charm. Scent: 9/10, Versatility: 8/10, Longevity: 7/10, Quality: 9/10. In summary: excellent quality, refined and spicy scent, ideal for the office and formal occasions that conveys elegance and sobriety.
